    Dachelet, Hector T. Hector T. Dachelet, age 100, of Appleton, died Monday morning, December 31, 2007, on his birthday. He was born December 31, 1907, to the late Henry and Mary (Homblette) Dachelet, in Appleton, where he was a resident most of his life. Hector had been employed by Wisconsin Bell Telephone Company and retired after 43 years of service. He volunteered at the St. Joseph Food Pantry, Salvadorian Brothers, in New London, and numerous church projects. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the Telephone Pioneers.

    Hector is survived by three children, Thomas C. Dachelet, Squaw Valley, CA; Mary (William) Harris, Belvidere IL; Margaret (Kenneth) Driessen; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Dachelet, David (Rachael) Hoffman-Dachelet, William (Charleen) Dachelet, Mark (Kimberly) Manthey, Kent (Denise) Manthey, Paul (Kristy) Driessen and Mark (Johanna) Driessen; 15 great-grandchildren.

    He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lucille (Roesch) Dachelet, his second wife, Josephine (Foeller) Dachelet, his son, William, three brothers, Henry and two in infancy, two sisters, Alvina Kiel and Emily Wenzel.

    The funeral liturgy for Hector will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2008, at ST. JOSEPH CATHOLIC CHURCH, 410 West Lawrence Street, with Father Larry Abler officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 2 p.m., until the time of the mass. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established for the Theda Clark Neo-Natal Unit.

    The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Angelus and to Dana and her staff of ThedaCare At Home Hospice.

    Fremont, Wisconsin

    Joseph N. Goffard, age 44, died unexpectedly on Monday, January 6, 2003, following a snowmobile accident on Lake Poygan. Joe was born of August 22, 1958, in Green Bay the son of Ervin and Dorothy (School) Goffard. Joe was employed at Miller Electric as a machinist and enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, ice skating and snorkeling.

    Joe is survived by his parents, Ervin and Dorothy, Fremont three brothers: Gary Goffard, Florida Donald (Beth) Goffard, Appleton Dennis (Jean) Goffard, Greenville two sisters: Linda (Bill) Conrad, Kaukauna Lori Goffard, Appleton 13 nieces and nephews: Jesse, Jerome, Jackie, Joshua, Jeff, Mike, Jamie, Devin, Delane, Dawn, Amber, Emily and Matthew a great-nephew, Jacob and a great-niece, Amelia and a special friend, LeAnn. Joe was preceded in death by a brother, Jerome a nephew, Bradley his maternal grandparents, John and Marie School and his paternal grandparents, Issac and Clara Goffard.

    A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2003 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Poy Sippi, with Father Philip Dinh-Van-Thiep officiating. Friends may call at the Lewin Funeral Home, Fremont on Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and at the church on Thursday from 9:30 AM until the time of service.

    Joe had a love for life, and all that knew him, loved him. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

    Joe's family would like to thank all of the rescue workers on Lake Poygan after Joe's accident and the doctors, nurses and staff, as well as Rev. Philip DeWitt, at Mercy Medical Center for all of their care, concern and help during this difficult time.

    Lesselyoung, Louis J.
    Louis Lesselyoung, Kaukauna, age 100, passed away on February 18, 2008, the same date on which his wife died in 2000. He died at his home, with his family at his side, after a long and wonderful life. Louis was born December 5, 1907, son of the late Leo and Susan (Arndt) Lesselyoung. He married the former Dorothy Harriman in Waupaca on September 18, 1929; she preceded him in death in February of 2000, after seventy years of marriage. His career began by being the local distributor of the Milwaukee Sentinel, and he finished his career in the Holstein cattle business.

    Survivors include two children: Jean Konrad, Kaukauna; and Roy "Bill" (Jody) Lesselyoung, Indianapolis, Indiana; eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great-grandchildren.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Richard and a son-in-law Dean Konrad, and a granddaughter Barbara Konrad.

    A private memorial service will be held at a later date, and Louis will be buried next to his wife at Riverside Cemetery in Appleton. A memorial fund is being established to benefit Affinity Hospice, 816 W. Winneconne Avenue, Neenah, WI 54956.

    The family would like to thank everyone at Affinity Hospice for all of the special care and wonderful treatment they afforded to Louis and to the entire family. Your kindness will never be forgotten.

    Dorothy was born May 31, 1912, in Appleton, daughter of the late Roy and Dorothy (Griffiths) Harriman. On September 18, 1929, she married Louis Lesselyoung in Waupaca he survives. Dorothy and Louis recently celebrated 70 years of marriage. Dorothy found peace and comfort by caring for the needs of others, both as the "family caregiver" and as a Gray Lady. Survivors include her husband, Louis Lesselyoung, Kaukauna a daughter, Jean (Dean) Konrad, Kaukauna two sons, Richard Lesselyoung, Kaukauna, and his special friend, Jan Roy "Bill" (Jodi) Lesselyoung, Indianapolis, Indiana eight grandchildren, nine great- grandchildren and two great- great-grandchildren. Dorothy was preceded in death by her mother in 1958, her father in 1964, a brother, Jimmy in 1976 and by a granddaughter, Barbara Konrad in 1993. Private family services will be held at Immanuel United Church of Christ in Kaukauna. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Appleton.   • Note: Roy W. "Bill" Lesselyoung, 68, passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack on July 14, in Indianapolis, IN. Bill was born in Kaukauna, to the late Dorothy and Louis Lesselyoung. He graduated from Kaukauna High School and UW-Whitewater. Bill spent most of his adult life in Indianapolis where he was co-owner of Marcraft before his retirement.

    He was preceded in death by his mother and father, a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Joan Belongea Lesselyoung, a brother-in-law, Dean Konrad, and niece, Barbara Konrad.

    Bill is survived by his wife, Jodi, and his former wife, Jan. He is also survived by a sister, Jean Konrad, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

    Family and friends fondly remember the special times they spent with Bill at the family farm in Kaukauna, on Grindle Lake in Mountain, WI and the family cottage on the Wolf River in Fremont, WI. In his memory, a celebration of Bill's life will be held at a later date.

    Casey, James Ryan "Jim" James Ryan "Jim" Casey, age 29, of Appleton, went home to be at peace with our eternal Father on June 14, 2004. Jim was born on June 21, 1974 to Leon and Georgiana Casey in Appleton. He attended Appleton West High School and Fox Valley Technical College. He was a member of the Carpenters Local 955 where he was a journeyman carpenter. Jim enjoyed the outdoors through photography, fishing and spending time with family at the cottage. Jim will be sadly missed by his parents, Leon and Georgiana, Appleton; siblings: Michael Casey, Appleton; Patricia Casey and Robin Groose, Laramie, WY; Pamela (Gary) Van Ryzin, Madison; Mark (Peggy) Casey, Kaukauna; Tierney Casey, Madison; Kate (Bryan) Teschendorf, Hilbert; and Peg (Jerry) Ziglinski, Appleton. He is further survived by many nieces nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Matthew, maternal and paternal grandparents.
