    Age 39, died Saturday, February 6, 1993 at St. Elizabeth Hospital following a short battle with cancer. She was born June 30, 1953 in Appleton, the daughter of Jerome and Alice [Nichol] Joosten. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and crafts of all kinds. Cathy was an avid bingo player.

    Survivors include a very special friend, Steven W. Erdmann of Kaukauna; her mother, Alice Joosten of Little Chute; two sons, Jesse Josephs, Kaukauna; Daniel Josephs, at home; two daughters, Angela Josephs, Kaukauna; Kari Josephs, at home; five brothers and two sisters in-law, Tom Joosten and special friend, Sue Jansen, Appleton; Robert 'BJ' Joosten, Little Chute; Jerome and Gina Joosten, Sherwood; Bill 'Willie' and Ann Joosten, Appleton; Cyril Joosten, Little Chute; two sisters and brother in-law, Carol and Gordie Van Lieshout, Darboy; Patty and Dave Seefeldt, Kaukauna, nieces, nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her father, Jerome.

    Private services will be held Monday at the Fargo Funeral Home, Kaukauna with the Rev. Walter Steinbach officiating.

    Age 51, died unexpectedly Wednesday, June 17, 1987. He was born October 25, 1935 in Hilbert. He served with the U.S. Marines during the Korean conflict and worked for Neenah Foundry for 27 years. He was a member of the Holy Name Catholic Church and was Treasurer of Local 121 at the FLICO International Moulders.

    He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Donna [Opsteen] Wettstein; his mother, Sophie Wettstein, Kimberly; two daughters and two sons in-law, Kristine and Jeffery Hemauer, Moundsview, Minnesota; Kim [Missy] and Jeffrey Shauer, Kimberly; four sons and two daughters in-law, Tim and Julie, Mike and Beth, Dan, Tom Wettstein, all of Kimberly; two sisters and brothers in-law, Betz and Jerry Jansen, Madison; Pat and David Belling, Kaukauna; and five beloved grandchildren, Angela, Samantha, Katie Wettstein, Michael Schauer and Justin Hemauer.

    He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Ed.

    Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Holy Name Catholic Church, Kimberly with Msgr. Carl Steiner officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Jansen-Fargo Funeral Home, Kimberly from 4-9 p.m. on Friday and after 8:30 a.m. Saturday until the cortege leaves for the church. There will be a parish prayer service at 8 p.m. Friday. A memorial is being established.

  • Note: Jerome J. "Jerry" Joosten, Neenah, age 62, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 after a lingering illness. He was born in Little Chute on September 24, 1954 to Jerome "Shorty" and Alice (Nichols) Joosten. After high school, Jerry served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Panama. He married Regina Whitcomb on May 13, 1977. She preceded him in death in 2000 after 23 years of marriage. Jerry worked at Gibson's Iron Metal and Auto Salvage for 10 years and Miller Masonry for 20 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting pool. Jerry loved watching college football, especially the Badgers.

    Jerry is survived by his mother, Alice Joosten, Little Chute; siblings: Tom (Sue), Appleton; Carol (Mario) Garcia, Kaukauna; Bill (Ann), Kaukauna; Cyril, Little Chute; and Patty (Dave) Seefeldt, Little Chute; special friend, Patti Prahl; and Patti's children and grandchildren. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    In addition to his wife, Gina, Jerry is further preceded in death by his father, Jerome; brother, Bob; and sister, Cathy.

    Visitation will be held Monday, November 28, 2016 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main Street Little Chute) beginning at 4:00 p.m. until time of Funeral at 6:00 p.m. The Rev. B.J. was a 28 year employee of the Paper Valley Hotel. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his bike and playing pool with his brothers, family and friends.

    Robert is survived by his mother, Alice, Little Chute; siblings: Tom (Sue), Appleton; Jerry Jr. (Patti Prahl), Menasha; Carol (Mario) Garcia, Kaukauna; Bill (Ann) Joosten, Kaukauna; Cyril, Little Chute; Patty (Dave) Seefeldt, Little Chute; his Godmother Rita Becker; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    Robert was preceded in death by his father Jerome; sister Catherine (Steve Erdmann) Josephs; and Godfather Francis Becker.

    Chris was born on June 29, 1955 in Milwaukee, son of Alice Mollen and the late Ignatius "Moe" Mollen. He was a graduate of Brillion High School, class of 1973. On July 21, 1979, he married Nancy Kovara at St. Louis Catholic Church in Caledonia, WI. Chris worked at KHS in Waukesha as an Electrical Engineer. He loved camping and the outdoors, enjoyed gun ranges and target practice, and was a collector of many things.

    Survivors include his wife Nancy of Brillion; their children: Josh (fiance' Tessa) of Kaukauna, Jessica (Ray) Mazurowski of Appleton, Jeremy (Kayla) and grandson Weston all of Oshkosh, Jenny, Jordan, and Jake Mollen, all of Brillion; his mother: Alice Mollen of Brillion; siblings: Mike Mollen (girlfriend Amanda) of Florida, Mary Mollen of Brillion, Kate Mollen (Molly) of Waukegan, IL, and sister and goddaughter: Ann Lemberger (fiance' Victor) of Brillion; 4 brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law: Todd Kovara of Fort Wayne, IN, Terry (DeDe) Kovara of Racine, Danny (Claudia) Kovara of Racine, and Julie (Mike) Fuchsteiner of LaCrosse; father-in-law Ervin Kovara of Racine; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

    He was preceded in death by his father "Moe," mother-in-law Emma Kovara, and his grandparents.

    Memorial Service will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
