    Weyers, Robert L.
    Robert L. Weyers, 66, Plains, Mont., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008, in his home from pancreatic cancer. Bob was born Sept. 18, 1941, in Price County Wis., to Ben and Clara Weyers. He graduated from Freedom High School in 1959 and married Donna Vande Hey on July 1, 1961, in Freedom, Wis. They moved to Missoula, Mont., in 1967. Bob's most recent favorite included time with grandchildren, fishing and raising longhorn cattle. Plains has been Bob's primary residence for the last 15 year while enjoying the winters in Yuma, Ariz.
    Bob is survived by his wife of 47 years, Donna, Plains, Mont.; daughter, Lisa Read and husband, David and children, Joshua, Brandon and Jessica; son, Dave and children, Wyatt and Jake, all of Plains, Mont.; son, Sam and wife, Julie, and children, Taylor and Trevor, Florence. He is also survived by two brothers, Len and Ron.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Shirley Vandenberg and brother, Richard.
    In keeping with Bob's wishes, his body was donated to the WWAMI Body Donation Program through Montana State University for medical education.
    A memorial service will be held on Friday, Sept. 19, 2008, at 4 p.m. at Sunset Hills Funeral Homes in Plains, Mont. A potluck reception will follow at Plains Alliance Church. The family suggests memorial contributions to Clark Fork Valley Hospice at Box 768, Plains, MT 59859, or charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Hills Funeral Homes of Plains & Thompson Falls.

  • Note: Jean (Van Gheem) Vande Hey passed away on Thursday December 2, 2010 from Ovarian Cancer, she was 43 years old. She was born April 11, 1967. She was raised in the De Pere area. She graduated from Freedom High School in 1986. She married Al Vande Hey April 24, 1986 and they lived on their farm (Munchies Farm), for 24 years. She is further survived by their four beautiful children, son Clint and Krystal Vande Hey, Green Bay, son Kyle Vande Hey, De Pere, daughter Cassie and Kevin Stellmacher, Seymour, daughter Crystal and Mclain Gill, Menchalville, one special grandson Joshua Vande Hey, parents Thomas and Lauren Van Gheem, Freedom, her brother Rick and Nancy Van Gheem, Freedom, and sister Connie and James Olivarez, Wisconsin Rapids, nephew Justin and niece Ciara. As well as her beloived pets Dot, Duke, and Frank. She was preceded in death by father in law and mother in law Gordon and Agnes Vande Hey, Sister in law Darlene Vande Hey, Grandparents Adolph Van Gheem, James and Aletta Van Enkevort. Jean had numerous hobbies including canning which was featured in the Green Bay Press Gazette for, wine making, cooking, baking, gardening, sewing, and craft making. She was actively involved in her and Al's farm until it burned down in August of 2009. Jean was an avid hunter and loved going to Wyoming with her husband and friend Ike Jordan. She also loved going to Holcombe, WI. to do some four wheeling and just enjoying a break away from home with her close friends Jeff and Sharon Ostrowski.
    The family would like to thank Dr. Tammela and his staff, and Unity Hospice.

  • Burial: She was buried in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton, Outagamie Co, Wisconsin.
  • Note: Marilyn R. Stein, age 82, of Appleton, passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, July 4, 2015, at the Appleton Medical Center. She was born on March 13, 1933, to the late Herman and Erma (Schroeder) Bahr. Her step father was Edwin Schultz. On August 16, 1956, she married John Stein and they enjoyed 39 years together.

    In her 82 years, she shared her unique words of wisdom with all of her family and friends. She enjoyed sharing in the lives of her daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter, as well as many close nieces and nephews. Marilyn had a strong faith in God, and was especially fond of meeting with her group of "Church Girls".

    Through the years, Marilyn worked at Riverside Paper, Tuttle Press, and later made her "rounds" as a volunteer at Appleton Medical Center. She was willing to try new things and developed many hobbies including knitting afghans, sweaters and slippers, scrapbooking, bowling, crocheting, painting ceramics, swimming, bird-watching, playing Bingo, and doing puzzles.

    Marilyn is survived and will be missed by her daughter: Melissa Schumacher; son-in-law: Robert Schumacher and granddaughter; Riley. She is further survived by her brother-in-law: Francis Stein; and nieces and nephews: Gary and Jan Heiden, Dean Heiden, Jim and Alice Heiden, Joy Lynn and Harold Ellenbecker, Tom Heiden and Bonnie Daniels, Steve and Pam Heiden, Laurie and Gene Linzmeyer, Jill Stephani and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: John; sister: Joyce Heiden; brother-in-law Gilbert Heiden; and sister-in-law: Mary Stein.

    The funeral service for Marilyn will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at BETHANY EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 530 West Parkway Blvd. Appleton, with Rev. Mark Henke officiating. A time of visitation will be held at church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund had been established in Marilyn's name. Online condolences may be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com
