    Van Camp, Elizabeth "Betty" nee Heimmermann Elizabeth "Betty" Van Camp, age 72, died peacefully Sunday, July 2, 2006 at Appleton Medical Center with her family by her side, after a lengthy illness. She was born on April 7, 1934 in Appleton, WI to the late Michael and Leone (Julius) Heimmermann. She married Ervin "Farmer" Van Camp on April 28, 1951 and shared 55 years together on the farm at 5632 N. Richmond St., Appleton until two years ago where they moved to their new home at 1451 Broadway Dr. Appleton, which was Dad's family farm.

    She was a member of St Edwards Catholic Church, Mackville, WI and was a lifetime member of the Christian Mother's. She and Erv farmed for most of their married life until two years ago. She was president of the Home School Association for one year when her children attended St. Edward's and she started the fish fry on Friday's to make money for playground equipment for the school. She also managed the hamburger and food stand during the Mackville Tractor Pulls. She enjoyed going camping with their good friends Ray and Bev Gasper and loved her trips to Hawaii with her mom and Erv and to Europe. She also loved get togethers with family and friends and a friendly game of Sheepshead. Her mom and herself loved to go to ceramic classes at Marion Zitszleburger's in Hilbert, WI. They also went to Top meetings and got the crown a couple of times. Her favorite hobby was her doll collection.

    She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Ervin "Farmer"; her children: Charlotte (Ken) Gassner, Hortonville; Ervin "Buster" (June) Jr., Appleton; Ronald (LeeAnn Kells), Appleton; Donald (Penny), Seymour; Tim, Appleton; Laura (Kelvin) Kimball, Black Creek; William "Willy" (Reena) Appleton; nephew, Randy (Sarah) Van Camp, Appleton; 21 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; sister, Audrey Dahlke, Appleton; brother, Damian (Phyllis) Heimmermann, Hortonville; sisters-in-law, Audrey Heimmermann; Dorothy (Earl) Pettis, Appleton; Rosemary Turek, Black Creek; brother-in-law, Alfred (Hilda) Van Camp, Appleton.

    Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her uncle Fritz Heimmermann; her brother Ray; her baby sister Mary; five brother-in-laws,: Gordon Bunnell, Monroe Dahlke, Edward Turek, Victor Ringel, Lawrence Boers; sister-in-law Lorraine Boers; grand-daughter Jessica Gassner; and her great- grandbaby Gabriel Gassner.

    Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at 12 p.m. at St. Edwards Catholic Church, Mackville with Father Brooks and Father Werner officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service at the church. Interment will be at St. Edward's Cemetery.

    We would like to thank all the staff members on the 4th floor, members of the ICU on the 2nd floor at AMC for their loving care and support we received during our Mom's illness. Special Thanks also to Bonnie Schefe, Kathy Wege and her God-Daughter Jan, for their loving care.

    Mom, thank you for being a great wife, a great mom and a special grandmother. Now all your pain and suffering is gone. You are now our saint in heaven.
