  • Note: John Costello, age 56, of Kaukauna, passed away at home on July 26, 2013 with his family by his side after a long and courageous 21 month battle with cancer. He was born August 29, 1956 to the late Robert and Violet (Renier) in Green Bay. He attended Premontre High. On July 10, 1992 he married the love of his life, Diane Bowers. They spent 21 years happily married; many of which were spent together riding the open roads on their Harley. John was an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting and fishing. He enjoyed many trips to Canada with friends and family. John loved the game of golf; his passion began at a young age while working at Woodside golf course. He and his family enjoyed many rounds together. John loved being a "papa;" he spent countless hours with his grandkids and created everlasting memories. His family was the most important thing to him, they will miss him dearly. John is survived by and will be sadly missed by his wife, Diane Costello, children: Jason VanEgeren, Dani (Jon) Leick, and Shane (special friend Jami); grandchildren: Austin VanEgeren, Dayna VanEgeren, Sydney VanEgeren, Cullen Leick, Beckett Leick and Reina Saldana; siblings: Karen (Phil) Coppersmith, Cindy (Mike) O'keefe, Cathy (Jim) Konop, Chris (Pat) Gaulke, Charlie (Betty) Costello, Jim (Cindy) Costello and Bob (Judy) Costello; mother-in-law, Margaret (Mugs) Bowers; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law; Shari (Pete) Colwell, Deb (Rick) Meulemans, Lea Ann (Dan) Meulemans, , Donna (Darren) Cornelissen; many nieces and nephews; and his two special 4 legged friends, Snickers and Reggie. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Costello, mother Violet Simons and his step-father, Fritz Simons; father-in-law, Norman (Norm) Bowers; maternal and paternal grandparents. Family and friends may call St. Clare Catholic Church- St. Paul site, 437 Main Street, Wrightstown, on Thursday, August 1, 2013 from 4-7pm. A parish prayer service will be held at 7pm Thursday evening. Visitation will continue on Friday, August 2, 2013 from 9:30am until the hour of mass. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am with Rev. Carl Meulemans officiating. Cotter Funeral Home, Wrightstown, is assisting the family.     LeRoy J. Arnold

    Age 54, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, February 17, 2004. He was born August 7, 1949 in the Town of Center to the late Wilmer and Loretta [Whittman] Arnold. He graduated in 1967 from Hortonville High School. On March 15, 1970 he was united in marriage to his friend, wife, and caregiver, Karen Woehler. LeRoy farmed, raced stock cars, and was employed by Presto Products up until 1976 when he was injured in a stock car accident leaving him a quadriplegic. He was a lifetime member of the Fox River Racing Club and was an avid Nascar fan who took pride in the Earnhardt Racing Team- past and present- along with hot rod Chevrolets. LeRoy had a strong faith in God and will to live and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Appleton.

    LeRoy will be missed by his beloved wife, Karen Arnold; three Children, Tim [fiance Bobbie Jo Figlinski] Arnold, Michelle Arnold, and Todd Arnold, all of Black Creek; his mother, Loretta Arnold, Appleton; two sisters, Janet [Donald] Spaude, and Joyce [Roland] Young, both of Shiocton; a sister in-law, Joanne [James] Conradt, Black Creek, also nieces, nephews and special friends.

    LeRoy is preceded in death by his father, Wilmer Arnold, an infant sister, Shirley Mae Arnold; paternal grandparents, Henry and Golde Arnold; maternal grandparents, Mike and Nellie Whittman; his father and mother in-law, Elmer and Elna Woehler; and sister in-law, Jeanette Kust.

    A funeral service for LeRoy will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Appleton with the Rev. Ralph Waack officiating. Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at the Brettschneider Trettin Lederer Funeral Home and at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park.

  • Note: Timothy James "Tim" McCormick, passed away Friday, August 9, 2013 at the age of 96. He was born February 3, 1917 to the late Thomas and Sophia (Heideman) McCormick. In his late teens, while he and a friend were at a barn dance, he met and later married Myrna Wilson, daughter of Alvin and Mabel (Hair) Wilson. They were united in marriage at St. John's Church in Seymour on June 22, 1938, in a double wedding ceremony that included Tim's sister, Carmen, and Ray Kroner.After living in Mill Center, then Green Bay for twenty years, Tim moved his family to the town of Lawrence, along Highway 41, where he operated an auto salvage. The Chicago and Northwestern Railroad also employed him as a machine operator. Throughout his life, Tim enjoyed horses; breaking, training, and participating in horse pulling contests. Tim and Myrna bought a home in Wrightstown just before Myrna retired in 1977. Tim retired from the railroad in early 1979. Tim and Myrna celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1988 with Carmen and Ray Kroner. In 2003, Tim and Myrna celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. In retirement, Tim and Myrna traveled in motor homes around the country with the Coachman Association.Tim was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Wrightstown, and has been a widower since 2004, when Myrna died after suffering a severe stroke. As Tim grew older, he enjoyed getting out to eat at local restaurants. The food at D & G Restaurant in Greenleaf, Van Abel's of Hollandtown, and the American Legion of Wrightstown, were his favorites. He is survived by daughters, Mary Ehnerd, and Patricia (Dennis) Driessen; sons, James (fiancĂ©e Bonnie) McCormick, Michael (Connie) McCormick; grandchildren: Dan (Joanne) Ehnerd, Dave (Helen) Ehnerd, Phyllis (Mike) Phernetton, Jerry (Beth) McCormick, Eric (Terry) Driessen, Jeff (Sherry) Driessen, Terri Driessen, Laurie Schweitzer, Jeanne (Duane) Mossberger, Amanda Newhouse, Stephen (Holly) Diny, and Kevin Diny; great grandchildren: Casey (Craig) Wollard, Jason Hendricks, Zach Ehnerd, Dylan and Maddison Ehnerd, David and Walter Phernetton, Jessica (Kelby) Cuevas, Roberta (Brett) Morschauser Jacob and Luke McCormick, Kaelie, Owen and Caleb Driessen, William, Josephine, Charles, Olivia, Sophia, and Cecelia Schweitzer, Mason and Collin Mossberger, Kaden Newhouse, Riley, Autumn, Ella, Nicholas, Emily and Eric Diny; great-great-grandchild, Wyatt Wollard. He is preceded in death by his wife, Myrna McCormick; sisters, Carmen Kroner and Rosella Ebert; brother, William "Bill" McCormick ; sisters-in-law, Fay Wilson and Gladys McCormick; brothers-in-law, Dow Wilson Len Ebert, and Ray Kroner; son-in-law, Robert Ehnerd; and two infant Ehnerd grandchildren.Family and friends may visit at St. Clare Parish/St. Paul site, Wrightstown, on Monday, August 12, 2013 from 1 p.m. - 3:45 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 4 p.m. with Rev.
