She was born in Ladysmith, Wisconsin, on December 30, 1917, to the late Rudy and Barbara (Schaefer) Sensenbrenner. After moving from Ladysmith, most of her early years were spent in Menasha, where she graduated from Menasha High School. There she played French horn in the National Championship Marching Band. The Hermsen family extends their gratitude to Reverend Father Jack Harper and to the entire staff at Unity for their special compassionate care of Agnes and our family. The family also extends a special thank you to Clarity Healthcare, especially Brenda Easman for her devoted concern, friendship and visits to Agnes during her last remaining days.

To know Agnes was one of the true pleasures in life. She enjoyed visiting with people even if they were strangers. No matter how often and how much she suffered through numerous illnesses and setbacks she was always more concerned about how others were feeling. Her big heart and extreme empathy will be missed by all.

Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday morning, August 11, at the St. Francis Xavier Church, 220 S. Michigan Street, De Pere. Memorial Mass 10 a.m. Saturday at the church with Rev. John H. Harper officiating.
