  • Marriage: He and Joyce Hazel McCabe were married in May 1974.
  • Death: James Lee Wenzel died on June 2, 2005, at age 71.
  • Burial: He was buried in Holy Cross, Kaukauna, Outagamie Co, Wisconsin.
  • Note: Age 71, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 2, 2005 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton. Jim was born in Kaukauna on January 27, 1934, son of the late Raymond and Mary (Hagel) Wenzel. He was a graduate of the Kaukauna High School, and for nearly forty years was employed at Appleton Papers’ Combined Locks Mill. In May of 1974, he married the former Joyce McCabe Milton; she survives. Jim enjoyed caring for his yard, and tending to the many small critters that visited his feeders. Jim is survived by his wife: Joyce Wenzel of Appleton; a son: Kenneth (Shannon) Wenzel of Cincinnati and his children Kenneth, Jr. and Benjamin; a step-son: Lenny (Mary) Milton of Darboy and their daughters Jenny (Jason) Chevalier and Laurie (Pete) Ritger; five great-grandchildren: Marley, Will, and Luke Chevalier; and Nathan and Elizabeth Ritger; a brother: Robert (Anna) Wenzel of Little Chute; two sisters-in-law: Patricia (Mike) Milton of Appleton and Shirley (Omar) Hietpas of Appleton; a brother-in-law: Fabian Arnoldussen of Wrightstown; and a special cousin: Lenore Sullivan of Kaukauna. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a special aunt Rose Thompson, a sister-in-law Iris Arnoldussen, and a special cousin Ed Sullivan.

    The funeral liturgy for Jim will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 6, 2005 at ST. BERNADETTE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2525 E. Lourdes Drive in Appleton with Fr. Harold Berryman officiating. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Kaukauna. Friends may call from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home and again at the church on Monday after 10:00 AM. Visiting hours will conclude Sunday with a prayer and scripture service at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.

    Jim – Thank you for being such a wonderful and loving husband. The years I spent at your side were the best years of my life, and I will love you forever.

  • Death: Myron (Mike) Arnoldussen died on February 7, 2018, at age 88, in King, Waupaca Co, Wisconsin.
  • Burial: He was buried in St Nicholas Cemetery, Freedom, Wisconsin.
  • Note: Freedom - Myron "Mike" Arnoldussen, 88, of Freedom, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Wisconsin Veteran's Home at King. He was born on May 26, 1929, a son of the late George and Julia (Kerkhoff) Arnoldussen.

    Mike entered the US Army in 1948, having served in the Korean War, and was honorably discharged in 1952. He was a member of Freedom VFW Post #7692 in Freedom.

    On December 28, 1950, he was united in marriage to LaVerne Van Rossum at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Freedom. She preceded him in death on April 17, 2010.

    Mike remained a lifelong member of St. Nicholas, having served mass for funerals, was a lector, and held a position as a trustee. He also belonged to the Knights of Columbus #4489 in Kimberly and the 4th Degree Council Assembly #1199 in Allouez.

    In 1984, he received the Outstanding Service to Community Award in Freedom. Mike had also served on the Freedom Fire Department. Mike enjoyed doing puzzles, woodworking, gardening, and doing household projects with his Grandchildren.

    He is survived by sons, Dennis Arnoldussen, Appleton; Larry Arnoldussen (fiancee', Theresa VanVonderen), Menasha; three grandchildren: Lance (Crystal) Arnoldussen, Watertown; Lisa Stephenson (fiance', Scott Peterson), Menasha; Lu Ann (Russ) Monroe, Chilton; great-grandchildren: Logan Degrave, Brennan Stephenson, Olyvia Peterson, Masie and Zada Monroe, Amber (Jason) Strehlow, David Jr.( Kaitlyn) Bold, Kayla and Alexis Arnoldussen; great great-grandchildren: Nicholas and Sophia Bold; former daughter-in-law, Linda Rohm; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Bernice Dercks, Donald Van Rossum, Ronald (Barbara) Van Rossum, Eugene (Sue) Van Rossum, Carol Van Rossum, Loretta Arnoldussen, Pat Grady, and Bob Weyenberg.

    In addition to his wife and parents, Mike was preceded in death by sisters: Juline Grady and Florus Weyenberg; brothers: Bert, Fabian, and Hilary Arnoldussen; sisters-in-law: Rosie Grode, Iris Arnoldussen, and Mary Van Rossum; brothers-in-law: Jim Van Rossem, Wayne Grode, and Roger Dercks: great-granddaughter, Maddison Stephenson and great-grandson Joshua Bold.

    Friends may call at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom, on Monday, February 19, 2018, from 10:00 am until the funeral mass at noon with Fr. Walter Stumpf officiating.     Arnoldussen, La Verne Dorothy


    La Verne Dorothy Arnoldussen, 78, passed away Saturday evening, April 17, 2010, on her birthday, at the St Paul Home. She was born April 17, 1932, daughter of the late Adrian and Ella (Geurts) Van Rossum. She was united in marriage to Myron (Mike) Arnoldussen on Dec. 28, 1950, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Freedom. She enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, baking cookies with her great-grandchildren and even learned to use the computer.

    Survivors include her children: Larry (Laurie Merline) Arnoldussen, Menasha; Dennis (friend Jan Jansen) Arnoldussen, Appleton; three grandchildren: Lance (Crystal) Arnoldussen, Watertown; Lisa (Bill) Stephenson, Menasha; LuAnn (Russ) Monroe, Chilton; nine great-grandchildren: Kayla, Alexis, Logan, Brennan, Masie, Zada, David, Amber, and Josh (fiance Casey); two great-great-grandchildren: Sophia and Nicholas; two sisters: Rosie Grode, Freedom; Bernice Dercks, Little Chute; three brothers: Donald (Mary) Van Rossum, FL; Ronald (Barbara) Van Rossum, Freedom; Eugene (Sue) Van Rossum, Freedom; one sister-in-law, Carol Van Rossum, Princeton; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Fabian Arnoldussen, De Pere; Loretta Arnoldussen, Freedom; Pat (Joan) Grady, De Pere, Bob (Florus) Weyenberg, Freedom; God Children: Lance Arnoldussen, Jeff Van Rossum, and Rosalie Poquette and Kayla and Alexis Arnoldussen; former daughter-in-law, Linda Rohm.

    She was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Van Rossum; four brothers-in-law, Bert Arnoldussen and Hilary Arnoldussen, Wayne Grode and Roger Dercks; one sister-in-law, Juline Grady; and her great-granddaughter, Maddison Stephenson.

    Friends may call at St. Nicholas Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 21, 2010, from 10 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at noon with Father Dave Hoffman and Deacon Don Newhouse officiating.
