    Orville Ryba, 51, of 233 Mill Street, Little Chute, a well known musician in the Fox Valley, died Saturday afternoon, July 21 as the result of an accident near Pickerel. Mr. Ryba drowned in Lake Pickerel after his boat capsized according to Forest County authorities. He was alone at the time of the accident.

    The body was recovered at 3:20 p.m. by a scuba diver from the Langlade County Sheriff's Department. The accident occurred at 12:30 p.m.

    Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today (Tuesday) at St. John's Catholic Church, Little Chute, with the Rev. Richard Klingeisen officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

    Mr. Ryba was born November 8, 1927 in Little Chute, and was an Army Veteran of World War II. He was employed by the Appleton Machine Corporation. An active musician, Mr. Ryba had played with various bands in the area. He was a member of Jacob Coppus Post No. 258, American Legion at Little Chute.

    He is survived by his wife, Thelma; four daughters, Mrs. Gerald (Carolyn) Rickert of Route 5, Appleton, Mrs. Richard (Mary) Heller of Appleton, and Donna and Becky, at home; three sons, Joe and Tom of Little Chute, and Bruce, at home; three brothers, Henry and Elmer, both of Little Chute, and Robert of Milwaukee; two sisters, Mrs. Red (Martha) Vaughn of Route 1, Menasha, and Mrs. George (Rosemary) Huss of Kaukauna; and seven grandchildren.

    The Verkuilen Funeral Home, Little Chute, is assisting the family with arrangements.

    Bangart, Ronald


    Ronald C. Bangart, 68, of Appleton, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2010, at the Appleton Medical Center. Ronald was born on February 24, 1941, to the late Joseph and Laverne (Schmidt) Bangart on the family farm in the Town of Harrison. Ron worked at the Brillion Iron Works for over 30 years until his retirement. He loved to fish and play cards, and most of all spend time with his family.

    Ron is survived by two sons: Scott (Fiancee Deanne) Bangart, Menasha; Brian (Lynn) Bangart, Kaukauna; three grandchildren: Josh, Justin and Eliza Jo; four brothers: Chris (Nora), Hortonville; Joe (Pat), Menasha; Allen (Beverly), Kaukauna; Tony (Sandy) Appleton; a sister, Doreen Rogina (special friend, Albert), Little Chute, and a friend, Barb Case, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

    Ron was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle, a brother, Raymond, and a nephew, Christopher.

    Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2010, at 7 p.m. at the Jansen Fargo Funeral Home. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, February 4, from 3:30 until the time of services at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Knollwood Memorial Park in Two Rivers on Friday, February 5, 2010, at 11 a.m.

On June 17, 1931 she married George Pauwels. Margaret was the oldest member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in De Pere. She enjoyed playing cards, gardening, and tending to her flowers.

    She is survived by her children, Jerome Pauwels, De Pere, Alvin (Jeanne) Pauwels, De Pere and Norma (Jim) Frink, Allouez. Her 6 grandchildren further survived, Mitch Frink, Chris (JR) Baker, Bob Pauwels, Bill (Margaret) Pauwels, Brian Pauwels, and Julie (Dale) Hyska, as well as great grandchildren, Megan, Marley, Aaron, Matthew, and Michelle. Her sister Esther Boyer also survives. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband George, and two sisters, Florence Beth, and Angie Van Handel.

Esther married Wilfred Boyer and had three children together. She enjoyed golf, was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and loved her family very much.

    Esther is survived by her sons, Richard (Jean) Boyer, Robert (Special Friend Lynn Hager) Boyer and sister in law, Pat (Paul) Janowski. She is further survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and many other friends and family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred and a son, James Boyer.

    Friends may gather at Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Thursday, January 19, 2017, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Funeral service for Esther will be at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
