    Age 43, died Monday morning, November 25, 2002, due to A. L. S. (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). He was born November 28, 1958, to Melvin H. and Mavis D. (Sann) Wurm, in Appleton, where he was a resident most of his life. Brian graduated from Appleton East High School and had been employed by Appleton Papers. Brian enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, planting trees and landscaping and was a member of Zion U. C. C. of Dale. Survivors include his wife, Kristine K. (Vanden Heuvel) Wurm, whom he married September 8, 1990; four children, Jennifer R. Wurm, Appleton; Michael B. Wurm, Appleton; Lynnea M. Wurm; Gavin F. Wurm, both at home; his parents, Melvin H. and Mavis D. Wurm, Tomahawk; two brothers and sisters-in-law, David A. and Sheila Wurm, Appleton; Jeffrey M. and Sandra Wurm, Appleton; a sister and brother-in-law, Pamela S. and Steve Boettcher, Appleton. Funeral services for Brian will be held at 1:00 pm, Friday, November 29, 2002, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, with Reverend Virgie J. Davis officiating. Entombment will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, from 10:00 am until the time of the service. A memorial fund has been established for A. L. S. Research.

    George W. Deltour Jr., 1331 E. Amelia St., Appleton, age 47, died on Wednesday, January 11, 1989 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. 'God saw George being very strong, yet struggling with an endless battle with cancer so he took him home to be at peace'. He was born August 27, 1941 in Appleton. He married Rose VandenHeuvel August 22, 1961. George was employed by Zion Lutheran Church.

    He is survived by his wife, Rose; a daughter and son in-law; Linda and Patrick Giese, Appleton; four sons and a daughter in-law; John and Kim Deltour, Kaukauna; Daniel and his fiance, Bonnie White; David and his fiance, Tammy Romenesko; James Deltour, all of Appleton; two grandchildren; Nicole Rose Deltour and Crystal Rose Geise. He is also survived by his father and step-mother, George and Bea Deltour; his step-father, Alvin Voight and his grandfather, William Lyman, all of Appleton; three sisters and two brothers in-law; Rozanne and Lee Wilkum, New London; Mary Lou and Les Wilkum; Donna Depner. all of Appleton; two brothers and a sister in-law, Robert and Debbie Deltour, Hortonville; Gerald Voight, Appleton. He is also survived by his wife's brothers and sisters; Mary and Betty VandenHeuvel; Patricia and Richard Neuert, all of Appleton; Kathy and Carl Kroes; Lyle and Kan VandenHeuvel, all of Kimberly; Mary and Ron Arndt; Irene and Dave Kres; Ron and Patti VandenHeuvel; Donna and Ken Maynard, all of Kaukauna; also many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

    He was preceded in death by his mother Geraldine Voight, his mother and father in-law, Anna and John VandenHeuvel.

    Complete funeral services will be held Friday, January 13, 1989 at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Moore Catholic Church, 1825 N. McDonald St. with Fr. Gerald Falk officiating. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St. on Thursday from 4 until 9 p.m. and on Friday from 8 a.m. until the cortege leaves for the church. A prayer and scripture service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. A memorial fund is being established.
    'God in our sorrow, we would like to take time to thank you for giving us a special husband, father, and grandfather. In his sickness and health he has taught us great strength and courage. We will miss him dearly.'.
