    Age 77, died Monday, June 10, 2002. He was born on September 2, 1924 the son of the late Peter and Mayme (Welhouse) Ebben. On June 27, 1963, he married Phyllis M. (Maves) Erbach.

    He is survived by his wife, Phyllis a son, Mark (Beth) Ebben, San Jose, California four stepchildren: Steven (Janet) Erbach, Neenah Kate Erbach, Neenah Dan (Lee) Erbach, Los Angeles, California Jane (Bruce) Zatkowsky, Springfield, Virginia ten grandchildren, with one on the way.

    Per Ray's wishes, no services will be held.

    Of Appleton, age 76, passed away peacefully in his sleep at the home of his son, Glenn Loewenhagen in Greenville on January 26, 2003. Earl was born in Seymour on February 25, 1926 to the late Edward and Bertha (Sigl) Loewenhagen. On May 8, 1948 he married Ilamae Vanden Wildenberg she preceded him in death on August 9, 2000. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Army. He worked for over 30 years at Consolidated Papers in Appleton. Earl loved working on cars, playing cards, hunting, spending time at the cottage, and looked forward to his fishing trips to Canada. Earl was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. He was involved in the Salvation Army as a Bell Ringer he was also a member of the CB Club.

    He is survived by his sons: Glen (Jan) Loewenhagen, Greenville Ronald (Mary) Loewenhagen, Appleton daughter, Carla (Chris) Vander Wielen, Appleton two grandsons: Brian and Chris Loewenhagen two grand- daughters: Jennifer (Greg) Hojem and their daughter, Shaina Nabbefeld, and son, Jabin Hojem Bridget Roberts and her two children, Brandon and Storm brother, Wilfred (Mary) Loewenhagen, Appleton sisters: Betty Heegeman and Ruth (Ken) Schroeder, both of Appleton special sisters-in-law, Joyce and Pat brother-in-law, Joe Vander Wielen and numerous other in-laws a goddaughter, Donna (Jack) Prahl, Little Chute and his "lap kitties." In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lisa Loewenhagen brothers: Edward and Dale sister, Shirley Vander Wielen nephew, Russell Loewenhagen brother-in-law, Robert Heegeman.

    The Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1810 North McDonald Street with Father Gerald Falk officiating. The visitation will be on Tuesday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park.

    The family would like to thank Thedacare Hospice nurses, especially Suzi, for all their kindness and care. Special thanks to special family friend Terry Hawley.

    Loewenhagen, Ronald E.


    Ronald E. Loewenhagen, 51, Appleton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 11, 2010, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born May 8, 1958, in Appleton, son of the late Earl and Ilamae (Van Den Wildenberg) Loewenhagen. Ron was united in marriage to Mary Wilhelm on April 12, 1980. He loved watching NASCAR, camping at the family property in Shawano County and working on his son's race car. Ron worked at Luvata (Valley Cast Wire) for 28 years, retiring in November 2009.

    Ron is survived by his wife, Mary; two sons: Brian, Friendship, and Christopher (special friend, Sarah Forster), Kaukauna; a sister, Carla (Christopher) Vander Wielen, Appleton and a brother, Glenn (Janis) Loewenhagen, Greenville. He is further survived by a sister-in-law, Glenda (James) Weber, Ogdensburg and brothers-in-law: Randy (Sherry) Wilhelm, Eland; Dean (Kathy) Wilhelm, Birnamwood, Roger (Elvira) Wilhelm, Appleton, and Jeffrey (Yvonne) Wilhelm, Marion. Ron is further survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

    He was preceded in death by his parents; a niece, Lisa Loewenhagen; father- and mother-in-law, Glenn and Marilyn (Page) Wilhelm, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents.

    Funeral services for Ron will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2010, at the Valley Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

    The family would like to thank the many doctors and medical staff, especially ThedaCare Hospice for their care and concern of Ron and his family.
