    Age 76, died Wednesday, December 4, 2002 at St. Paul Home, Kaukauna. Agnes was born September 20, 1926 in Stephensville daughter of the late William and Ursula (Puth) Cummings. She married Donald Janssen, October 7, 1950 at St. Joseph Church, Appleton. She was a member at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute. Her passion was music. She sang in St. John's choir and occasionally played the organ. Agnes also played in various bands. She enjoyed baking and cooking, bird watching and spending time with her family.

    Agnes is survived by her husband, Don five children: John (Cheri) Janssen, Hortonville Teresa (Mike) Hammers, Appleton Phil (Julianne) Janssen, Neenah Chuck (Brenda) Janssen, Hortonville Maria (Rick) Clark, Appleton ten grandchildren: Julie (Jamie) Siewert, Brian and Erin Hammers Charlie, Mike and Rachel Janssen Frances and Tony Clark Nicholas and Megan Janssen a brother, William (Mary) Cummings and a sister, Mary Ellen (Harold) Hinkens a sister-in-law, Faye Cummings. Agnes was preceded in death by her son, Nicholas a brother, Frank Cummings and a sister, Ursula (Ted) Kirchner.

    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 7, 2002 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute with Rev. Msgr. James Vanden Hogen officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. Saturday until the time of the mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.

    The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Scott and the staff at St. Paul Nursing Home for their wonderful care and dedication.

  • Note: Donald J. Janssen, Little Chute, age 86, died Wednesday January 22, 2014 at his home. He was born in Little Chute on May 11, 1927 to the late Peter and Martha (Ebben) Janssen. He married Agnes Cummings at St. Joseph Parish on October 7, 1950. She preceded him in death on December 4, 2002 after 52 years of marriage. Don was proud of his Naval service and was especially honored to participate in the Old Glory Honor Flight with his brothers, Gerrit and Pete. Special thanks go to Tim Schmidt and the Honor Flight team for making this an extraordinary day. Family always came first for Don. He was a lifelong member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church—a man of strong faith who attended church and prayed the rosary daily. In addition to working 45 years in the mill, Don always had a part-time job. He never complained, and loved gardening and working in his yard. Though he was man of few words, Don had the ability use them well to teach others. He was an avid fan of the Cubs and Packers and a member of the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post 258.

    Don is survived by his children: John (Cheri), Hortonville; Teresa (Mike) Hammers, Hortonville; Phil (Julianne), Neenah; Chuck (LeeAnn), Little Chute; and Maria (Rick) Clark, Appleton; 15 grandchildren: Michelle (Ross) Widtfeldt, Jamie (Anello) Mollica, Julie (Jamie) Siewert, Brian (Mandy) Hammers, Erin (Jason) Schoemann, Nicholas Janssen, Megan Janssen, Charlie (Kim) Janssen, Michael J. (Ashley) Janssen, Rachel G. Janssen, Amber Killian, Kevin Killian, Brittany Bechard, Frances (J.R. Griswold) Clark, and Tony Clark; 10 great grandchildren: Lyra, Orion, Lexie, Danny, Lucie, Jake, Katelynn, Sophia, Benjamin and Lilly; brothers: Ken (Carol), Gerrit (Marge), Peter, Paul (Audrey) and Joseph (Jane) Janssen; sisters: Sylvia (Ted) Kuether and Rosemary West; and sisters-in-law: Mary Ellen (Harold) Hinkens, Fay (Wilmer) Schulz and Janet Janssen. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    In addition to his parents, and wife Agnes, Don was preceded in death by his son Nicholas, brothers: Les, Roman (Bernice) and infant Orville; sister: Marianne (Larry) Schnabl; and sisters and brothers-in-law: Ursula (Ted) Kirchner, Marlene and Doris Janssen, Dave West, Bill (Mary) and Frank Cummings.

    Visitation will be held Monday January 27, 2014 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 S. Pine St. Little Chute) beginning at 2:00 p.m. until time of Mass at 5:00 p.m. The Rev.     Wienandt, Isabell E.
    Isabell E. Wienandt, age 70, of Little Chute, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2008, at Manor Care. Isabell was born May 5, 1938, in Menasha, to the late George and Evelyn (Lyon) Heckner. She married Ronald Koehler on October 5, 1957; they enjoyed 16 years of marriage until Ronald's death, November 28, 1973. On May 28, 1975, she married William Wienandt. They enjoyed 37 years of marriage until Bill passed away, December 3, 2002. Isabell enjoyed camping, ceramics, and the Green Bay Packers. She loved bears and working with yarn, but best of all she loved spending time with family and friends.
    She is survived by her children, Ronald (Mary) Koehler, Franklin, WI; Ellen (Luke) Van Handel, Little Chute; Donald (Debbie) Koehler, Neenah; Carla (Brian) Mahony, Appleton; Marie (Derrick) Lumpkin, Stone Mountain, Georgia; Kim Koehler (Dave Collar), Appleton; her grandchildren, Jessica Koehler, Christopher Kaiko, Jeremy and Courtney Mahony, Amber, Austin, Ashley and Niah Lumpkin. Isabell is also survived by two sisters, Elaine Wydeven, Combined Locks; Karen Koeck, Las Vegas.
    In addition to her parents and husbands, Isabell was preceded in death by a brother, Tom Heckner and a brother-in-law, Gerald "Square" Wydeven.
    Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday November 6, 2008, at the funeral home, with Father Jim Lucas officiating. Burial will be in Appleton Highland Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, Thursday, from 3 p.m., until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established.
