    Age 13, left us on Friday, January 14, 2005. She was born in Appleton on January 22, 1991 to Steve and Shelley [Amerson] Wittman. Stephanie was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church. She was an eight grader at Freedom Middle School. Stephanie was a very outgoing and friendly and had many friend. She loved fashion and make up.

    She will be missed by her parents, Steve and Shelley; her brother, Brent; maternal grandparents, Pat and Mary Amerson of Appleton; paternal grandmother, Tootie Wittman of Appleton; aunt and a god mother, Sandy and Rob Bell of Appleton, and their children, Ashley, Connor, Carter and Cayden; uncles, Pat and Lori Amerson of Seymour, and their daughter, daughter, Jenny; Tim [special friend, Leah] Amerson of Appleton, and his children, Amanda, Timmy, Mckenzie and Travis; Jeff Amerson of Appleton and his son, Jeremy; aunt Debbie and Don Smith of Japan, and their children, Wendy and Kenny; uncle and god father, Mike Wittman of Appleton; uncle, Dennis and Rhonda Wittman of Appleton and their children, Angie and David; aunts, Sandy Wittman of Little Chute and her sons, Jeffrey, Kyle and Jason; Sherry and Jim Kruckenburg of Appleton and their daughters, Kimmy and Krissy; many loving relatives from Laona and New London; special friend, Kim; third grandma and grandpa, Tom and Linnie; other friends to numerous to mention.

    She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Rich Wittman; great grandparents, Homer and Dorothy Belland and Mike and Nellie Wittman; aunt Susan, uncle Dick, and cousin Scotty and Alicia.

    The funeral mass will be on Tuesday, January 18, 2005 a 6 p.m. at St. Edward Catholic Church, Mackville with Father Charles Brooks officiating. The visitation will be on Tuesday at church from 2 p.m. until the time of mass. The burial will be in the parish cemetery.

  • Birth: Evelyn Mentsel was born on July 8, 1915 in Wittenberg, Shawano Co, Wisconsin.
  • Death: She died on November 13, 1977, at age 62, in Appleton, Outagamie Co, Wisconsin.
  • Note: Mrs. Wilbert Wismer (Evelyn Mentzel Spaulding), Black Creek, age 62, died at 3:20 p.m. Sunday after a short illness. She was born July 8, 1915 in Wittenberg, Wisconsin. She had lived in the Black Creek and Shiocton areas most of her life. She was employed by Frank's Pure Foods Company, Black Creek, and was a member of Emmanual Evangelical Lutheran Church, Black Creek. Survivors are her husband, Wilbert; two daughters: Mrs. Audrey Steffens, Neenah; and Mrs. Richard (Ida Mae) Wittman, Appleton; three sons: Lester Spaulding, Black Creek; Ronald Spaulding, Shawano; and Russell Spaulding, Glendale, Arizona; five sisters: Mrs. Alvina Schrieber, Menasha; Mrs. Viola Huus, Neenah; Mrs. Emma Hildebrand, Neenah; Mrs. Roman (Ethel) Blajeski, Clintonville; Mrs. John (Elnor) Cheslock, West Allis, Wisconsin; 22 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Alvin (Nancy) Beyer, Neenah; two stepsons: William Wismer and Gary Wismer, both of Neenah; and five stepgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Spaulding, November 11, 1966, a daughter, Mrs. Gene (Sally) Johnson; five brothers and one sister. The complete funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Emmanual Evangelical Lutheran Church, Black Creek. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Arden Wood will officiate. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Bretschneider-Trettin Funeral Home, and at the church from 11 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the service. A memorial has been established.
