On May 10, 1947 she married Robert Puyleart and they recently celebrated 68 years of marriage. Edna raised nine children and worked as a waitress for many years. She enjoyed polka dancing, going camping and flower gardens. Edna also loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a longtime member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.

    She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Robert; daughters, Sandra (John) Zak; Sheryl (Mike) Stein; sons, Robert (Janice) Puyleart; Russell (Mary) Puyleart; Roger (Bridget) Puyleart; Ronald Puyleart; Ryan (Patrice) Puyleart; son-in-law, Jerry Schott; 20 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; two step grandchildren; three step great grandchildren; brothers, Donald (Mary) Van Duyse; Jerry (Mary) Van Duyse; Peter (Pat) Van Duyse; Roland Van Duyse; brothers-in-law, Marv Tilque; Norman Loppnow; sisters-in-law, Rosie Van Duyse; Ann Puyleart; Irsula Puyleart; Isabel Puyleart; Dorothy Lemmens and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Schott; son, Randall Puyleart; brothers, Edward (Rose) Van Duyse; Larry Van Duyse; sisters, Lorraine (Chester) Novitski; Jean Loppnow; Darlene Tilque; in-laws, Joe (Alice) Puyleart; Marie (Clarence) Ducat; Bernadine (Jack) Laurent; Gladys (Pete) Umentum; Leona (Elmer) Degrand; Ray Puyleart; Richard Puyleart; Harold Puyleart; Norbert Puyleart; Harold Lemmens.

    Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wake service 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 3009 Bay Settlement Road, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church with Rev.     Our little energizer bunny has put in 150 years into her 87 years of life. She has always been nonstop. She has gone to the arms of loved ones who passed before her. The family would like to thank the staff at Rennes for all their care and compassion for Edna over the last few years, especially Holly, who seemed to have a had a special bond with her.

  • Note: Roland "Rollie" Van Duyse, 80, of De Pere, passed away Tuesday November 24, 2015 at a local hospital. The son of the late Edward and Irene (Geurts) Van Duyse was born February 10, 1935 in Green Bay.

    Mr. Van Duyse proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne Division from 1957 to 1959. He was an optician for many years in Green Bay prior to retirement. He loved polka music, especially Romy Goez Band. Rollie was a great Packer Fan and loved birdwatching.

    Survivors include his daughter, Terrie (Mark) Kussow, two grandchildren, Cole and Kyle, special forever friend, Peggy Grohusky, brothers, Donald (Mary) Van Duyse, Green Bay, Jerry (Mary) Van Duyse, Green Bay, and F. Peter (Pat) Van Duyse, Green Bay, as well as in-laws, Norman Loppnow, Rose Van Duyse, Marvin Tilque, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Edna (Robert) Puyleart, Lorraine (Chester) Novitski, Edward (Rose) Van Duyse Jr., Larry Van Duyse, Jean Loppnow, Darlene Tilque,

Larry's siblings further survive, Edna (Robert) Puyleart, Rollie Van Duyse, Jerry (Mary) Van Duyse, Don (Mary) Van Duyse and Pete (Pat) Van Duyse; as well as his brothers-in-law, Marv Tilque and Norm Loppnow; and Rosie's family.

    Larry was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary; his granddaughter, Caitlin; his parents and his siblings, Lorraine (Chester) Novitski, Edward (Rose) Van Duyse, Jean Loppnow, Darlene Tilque; and Jeff's fiancee, Kerri Kirsch.
