Marie is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Horn, Jr.; two sisters, Nancy and Mary; four brothers, William, Ronald, David, Richard, all at home; grandparents, Mrs. Joseph Horn, Sr., Little Chute and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kobs, Appleton; Mr. and Mrs. William Kobs, Weyauwega. Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute with burial in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home, Little Chute after 4 p.m. Tuesday where the rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m.

    Nancy L. Horn, Combined Locks, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, April 28, 2014. She was born May 1, 1955, and she graduated from Kaukauna High School, class of 1973. She married her soul mate and best friend, Ron Horn, on September 21, 1973, and cherished 39 years of marriage. Nancy's deepest passion and strongest commitment was to her family. Nancy was a loving, committed wife and mother. She enjoyed dancing and the love of music, playing piano and organ, and was an avid gardener. She cherished her memories of family vacations to Jelly Stone as well as family trips to the Hawaiian Islands, Disney and Hoover Dam/Vegas.

    She will be sadly missed by the love of her life, her husband, Ron Horn; a very amazing daughter, Suzanne; her mother, Theresa Evers; siblings: Gary (Anet), Joan (Nancy Albright), Barb (Pat Roberts), Kathy, Bob (Gail) and Alan; mother-in-law, Ethelyn Horn; brothers and sisters-in-law: Bill (Debra), David (Karen), Rich (Karen), Nancy (Josh), Mary (Pat) and Gus (Ann); her very devoted dog, Lucky; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

    Nancy was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Joseph Jr. Horn and a sister-in-law, Marie Horn.

    Memorial services will be at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2014, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 410 Wallace Street, Combined Locks, with Fr. Andrew Kysely officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the Mass. A memorial has been established in Nancy's name.

    The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staffs at ThedaCare Hospice, American Grand, Heartland Hospice, Dr. Timothy Culligan, Dr. Jennifer Schoening and the Kaukauna Clinic for the special care they gave to Nancy.

    Age 67, died Thursday, December 4, 1997 at home after a long illness. He was born June 12, 1930 in Kaukauna,; the son of the late Frank and Mary (Gussert) Vondracek. He served in the U.S. Army from January 11, 1952 to December 11, 1953. Bob worked at various positions at Giddings & Lewis from 1954 until 1988. He was the City Clerk of Kaukauna from 1988 to 1989 and served as alderman for the City of Kaukauna for 18 years. He was also employed at Astro Industries in Green Bay from 1989 to 1994. He was married to Helen Gerrits for 20 years; she preceded him in death in 1974. On April 19, 1976, he married Margaret "Babe" (Dawson) Vock. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, serving as a cantor, a mass server for funerals and communion distributor. He was a member of the Kaukauna Lions Club. He is survived by his wife, Babe; a daughter, Lu Ann (Jeffrey) Fandracek-Jeamby, Des Moines, Iowa; two sons: James (Dan) Vondracek, Columbus, Ohio; Tom Vondracek, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two stepdaughters: Sue (Robert) Main, Oshkosh; Peggy (Scott) Sampson, Milwaukee; three stepsons: Ronald (Monique) Vock, Sherman Oaks, California; Thomas Vock, Tucson, Arizona; Richard (Jean) Vock, Tucson, Arizona; six stepgrandchildren: Rob, Jill and Mara Main, Michelle and Kevin Vock, and Benjamin Sampson; a sister, Mary "Toots" (George) Brautigan, Kaukauna; many nieces and nephews; his first wife's sister, Carol (Lloyd) Bunnow, St. Louis, Missouri. He is further survived by his wife's two brothers and a sister: Robert (Dorothy) Dawson, Sterling, Illinois; James (Susan) Dawson, Decatur, Illinois; Betty (Donald) Brown, Durand, Illinois. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Francis (Rosie) and Harold Vondracek; and a sister, Helen (George) VandeVoort. The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, 1997 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with Father Jack Mullarkey officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 309 Desnoyer St., Kaukauna, from 2:30 p.m. Tuesday until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.

  • Note: Pat R. Collins, age 53, of Kaukauna, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017. He was born on April 9, 1964, son of James and Margaret (Kersten) Collins. Pat married Mary Horn on July 27, 1984, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute. He graduated from Kaukauna High School, class of 1982. Pat was a very proud Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. He was an avid Packers fan and couldn’t miss an episode of Ghost Adventures. Pat loved his pet cats, Maycie and Copper. He enjoyed camping and boating with his family and especially spending time with his two precious grandchildren.

    Pat is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mary; his son, Scott (Gwen) Collins; a daughter, Kelsey (Ryan) Burrows; two grandchildren: Hayden and Madelyn; mother, Margaret Collins; siblings: Timothy (Lois) Collins, Victoria (Jim McDonough) Schroeder, and Michele (Mark) Havel; mother-in-law, Ethelyn “Pooch” Horn; brothers and sisters-in-law: William (Debra) Horn, Ronald Horn, David (Karen) Horn, Rich (Karen) Horn, Putts (Joey) Brockman, and Gus (Ann) Horn; many nieces, nephews, others relatives and friends.

    Pat was preceded in death by his father, Jim Collins; sisters-in-law: Marie and Nancy Horn; father-in-law, Joseph Horn; a nephew Kyle Huss and his son, Ryder Huss; grandparents: Cornelius and Anna Kersten; Mary’s grandparents: Elbert and Anna Kobs.

    Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at the Verkuilen-Van Deurzen Family Funeral Home, 101 Canal Street, Little Chute. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Full military honors will be performed immediately following the service.     Age 59, died Friday, March 29, 2002 at her home after a short battle with lung cancer. Judith was born in Appleton June 22, 1942 daughter of Harry P. and Hazel (Crab) Reichel. She was a lifetime member of St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute. Judy loved to read V.C. Andrew books and played almost any card game. She also enjoyed the bright lights of the casino when her youngest loving son, William could take her to the show. She is survived by her children: William Sanderfoot, Appleton; Mary (Gordon) Webster, Appleton; Valerie (Glenn) Eslinger, Kaukauna; Todd Sanderfoot, Little Chute; a sister and two brothers: Tina Perez, Harry P. and Scotty Reichel, all of Kaukauna; her six grandchildren she loved spending time with: Brandon, Cory, Ashley, Anthony, Brittany and Lacey. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Judith was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Jeff W. Sanderfoot and a sister, Patricia Geiger.

    Funeral services will be 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2002 at the Verkuilen Funeral Home, Little Chute with Deacon Vincent De Groot officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. Tuesday until the time of the service.
