  • Note: Amy L. Maas, age 46 of Neenah, died unexpectedly on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Theda Clark. Amy graduated from Menasha High in 1989. She was an RN at Brewster Village until her health caused her to retire.

    Amy is survived by her son, Dekoreon Reed; her parents: Jack and Mary Maas; Aunts and Uncles: Joe and Carole Maas; Jim and Nancy Maas; Jerry and Linda Maas; Geno and Chris Westenberger; Aunts: Georgia and Paula Westenberger; her cousins: Brenda, Lisa, Misie, Angie, Stacey, Jerrilyn, Mark, Nick, Josh, and Tyler, as well as by her good friends, Kari and Becky.

    Amy was preceded in death by her grandparents: Hugo and Rita Westenberger, and Herman and Lucille Maas; her uncles: Jim Westenberger; Tom Westenberger; Dick Westenberger; and Larry Maas; by her cousin, Jimmy Maas; and by the father of her son, Shannon Reed.

    Per Amy's wishes, no service will be held.

  • Death: She died on November 27, 2017, at age 90.
  • Burial: She was buried in Most Precious Blood Cemetary, New London, Wisconsin.
  • Note: Daila H. Platte, age 90, of New London, passed away Monday, November 27, 2017 with her family at her side. She was born May 5, 1927 in Elderon, WI, daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (Bessett) Feavel and attended school in New London.

    Daila married Clinton Platte and together they raised their 5 children. Daila was trained as a Physical Therapist and worked for many area medical facilities. She was a faithful member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London.

    Daila was an avid trout fisherwoman and cross-country skier. She enjoyed her trips up to Lakewood and out to California to visit her sons. Daila and her son, Kevin participated in a skydive when she was 79 years old! Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

    Daila is survived by her 3 sons: Daniel Platte, Randall Platte and Kevin Platte (Maricruz); 6 grandchildren: Kim Kargus, Lisa Young, Keith Platte, Gretchen Platte, Kevin Platte II and Eva Platte and 8 great-grandchildren: Brandi Kargus, Matt Palmer, Aydin Clemens, Elliott Clemens, Nicole Young, Aleesa Young, Jake Palmer and Justin Palmer.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton; a daughter, Cheryl Palmer; a son, Jeff Platte and a grandson, Tim Palmer.

    Visitation will be held at MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD CATHOLIC CHURCH (712 S. Pearl St., New London), Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 9 to 11 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM with Fr. John Kleinschmidt, celebrant. Interment will be in Most Precious Blood Cemetery.     Age 42, New London, passed away as the result of an automobile accident near Shiocton on Tuesday, December 23, 2008. Tim was born on February 7, 1966 in New London. He was currently working at Harper Corp in Green Bay. He served his country in the US Army. Tim enjoyed fishing, camping at the various state parks, and especially spending time with his sons.

    He is survived by two sons, Jacob and Justin, both of East Troy; ex-wife & best friend, Bernadette “Bernie” Palmer, East Troy; his parents, Milton & Merilyn Palmer, New London; two sisters, Lisa Young, New London and Kim Kargus, New London and maternal grandparents, Daila & Clinton Platte, New London. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    He is preceded in death by his mother Cheryl.

    Funeral services for Tim will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.

  • Birth: Gerald Eick was born on September 5, 1937.
  • Marriage: He was married on November 8, 1958.
  • Death: He died on November 27, 2017, at age 80, in Green Bay, Brown Co, Wisconsin.
  • Note: Gerald "Jerry" Eick, 80, of Seymour passed away early Monday morning, November 27, 2017, at Aurora Medical Center in Green Bay. He was born September 5, 1937, son of the late Earl and Bernice (Prelipp) Eick. On November 8, 1958, he was united in marriage to Harriet Almos.

    Jerry was a Marine Veteran and a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour. He was owner of Seymour Roofing and Siding, and later was employed with H.J. Martin & Sons. Jerry was a past owner of Seymour VFW and Eicks in Isaar. He was a volunteer fireman for the City of Seymour and retired as an Assistant Fire Chief after 26 years.

    He is survived by his wife Harriet; children: Wylie (Ron) Leisgang, Wendy Eick (Jeff Roberts), Jeff (Jennifer) Eick; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Sally (Eick) Kools-Gavlak; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Janice (Bob) Eick, Susan Patz, and Jerry (Judy) Almos.

    Jerry is preceded in death by an infant brother, Ronald and brother-in-law, Jerry Patz.

    Friends may call at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Seymour on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 4:00 pm until services at 7:00 pm with Pastor Roland Lindeman officiating. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.muehlboettcher.com

  • Note: Debora Lynn "Debbie" Hermsen, 56, Allouez, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 25, 2017. The daughter of Gerald "Jerry" and Evelyn "Peetie" (Klipstine) Hermsen was born in Green Bay on April 12, 1961.

    Debbie grew up the middle of three children, and graduated from Preble High School. She worked for years at Montgomery Ward and AC Nielson Company. Debbie loved her three cats.

    Debbie is survived by her parents, Jerry and Peetie, her brothers, Tom (Ann) Hermsen, Green Bay, and Bill (Wanda) Hermsen, Idaho. She is further survived by Geert and Jim Klipstine, very special friends Cathy and Scott LaCount, and other members of her extended family.

    Family and friends may call at Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N Tenth Street, De Pere on Wednesday, November 29 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A short prayer service will close the visitation at 3:00. Burial will take place at Appleton Highland Memorial Park.
