Born on July 20, 1932, he is the son of the late Louis and Elizabeth "Ann" (Terrell) Turensky. He was stationed in Germany and served during Korean War for four years. Edward married his high school sweetheart the former Jean Devillers in 1955, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church and she preceded him in death on December 5, 2011. He was a mason for many years and was a proud member of the Brick Layers Union. Edward enjoyed hunting, fishing, and times spent at his cabin. Most of all he loved times spent with his family.He is survived by his three sons, Dave (Kathy) Turensky of Oconto Falls, Jeff (Janet) Turensky of Oconto Falls, and Mike Turensky of Green Bay; one daughter, Sarah (special friend, Larry) Turensky of Green Bay; four grandchildren, Josh (Nikki), Ashley, JoJo and Sammie; two great grandchildren, Jayden and Taylor; one brother, Richard Turensky; three sisters, Doris (Jim) Kellam, Patricia (Jerry) Beno, and Ann Marie (Fred) Mier; many other relatives and friends. Edward was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jean; one sister, Eleanor Smeester; two brothers, Al and Raymond Turensky.Visitation at Malcore (East) Funeral Home, 701 N. Baird St., Friday, February 13, from 3 PM until the time of the funeral service at 6 PM at the funeral home. Burial at Nicolet Memorial Gardens.

Walter Henry Seehawer

  • Note: Neenah - Walter H. Seehawer, age 73, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018, surrounded by his beloved family. He was born February 19, 1944 to the late Elder and Geraldine (Ruwoldt) Seehawer. After graduating high school, he became an apprentice sheet metal worker. He then joined the Army National Guard and was honorably discharged after six years. After the military, he worked as a sheet metal journeyman. In his free time, Walter enjoyed working with his hands, from sheet metal, to woodworking, or in more recent years, ceramics. He also loved spending time with people, teaching others to do the projects that he enjoyed so much.

    Walter was survived by his children: Jim (Beth) Reinert, Robert Patrick (fiancé, Heather Gray), Michael (Wendy) Seehawer, William Seehawer, and Jennifer Seehawer; grandchildren: Michael Anderson, Jon Vorpahl, Travis Seehawer, and Cody Zwiers; and great-grandson, Todd Anderson. He is further survived by siblings: Bev (Tom) Weyenberg and Art Seehawer; family friends: Loretta, Karen, and Rabbit; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Bob, Dick and James Seehawer, and sister, Yvonne Gambsky.

    A memorial service will be held in memory of Walter at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018 at HIGHLAND MEMORIAL PARK, 3131 N. Richmond St., Appleton. There will be a time of visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.
