    Nancy was born March 12, 1931, in Stockbridge to the late Harry & June Hostettler. In 1944, she moved with her family to New Holstein, where she attended New Holstein High School, graduating as valedictorian of her class in 1948.

    In 1949, she began her career at Tecumseh Engine Products. She retired in 1998 as a financial analyst. On October 24, 1953, she married Lloyd “Curly” Shell. He preceded her in death on October 13, 1964. On August 2, 1983, she married Lowell Graf. He preceded her in death on May 22, 1995.

    She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in New Holstein.

    Nancy is survived by two brothers-in-law, Gene (Mary) Graf of New Holstein and Mark (Roseanne) Graf of Phelps, WI; her sister-in-law, Beverly Hostettler of Little Chute. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Hostettler on May 22, 2012.

    Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 24, 2015, at the Sippel Funeral Home, 2618 Altona Avenue New Holstein, WI 53061. Rev. James E. Werner, Pastor of St. John United Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will be in the Kiel City Cemetery.

    Family and friends may greet the family at the funeral home Friday morning, April 24th from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM.

    Lloyd B. Shell, 33 of 2111 Plymouth St., New Holstein died at his home Tuesday after an illness of one month. He was born in New Holstein Feb. 7, 1931, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Bena Shell, and attended New Holstein public schools. He was employed at the Lauson engine Division of Tecumseh Products. Mr. Shell was married to Nancy Hostettler on October 24, 1953, at St. John's United Church of Christ, New Holstein. He was the scoutmaster of Troop 34 in New Holstein.
    Surviving are his wife; his mother, Mrs. Roma Shell, New Holstein; and two brothers, Richard of New Orleans, La., and Roy of Chicago.
    Funeral services will be at the Erbe-Hoffmann Funeral Home, New Holstein, with the Rev. Charles A. Koch, pastor of St. John's UCC officiating. Burial will be in the New Holstein city cemetery.

    He was born July 1, 1936 in Kiel, a son of Hugo and Celia Lisowe Graf. He was a 1954 graduate of Kiel High School. On Aug. 2, 1983 he married Nancy Hostettler Shell. Lowell was a shipping foreman at Tecumseh Products, New Holstein, for 32 years. He was a sergeant in the National Guard stationed at Fort Lewis, Wash., in the early 1960s.
    Survivors include his wife, Nancy; one son, Corby; his parents, Hugo and Celia Graf, Plymouth; two brothers, Gene (Mary) Graf, New Holstein; Mark (Rozanne) Graf, rural Kiel; also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, one brother, Hugo Jr. and one daughter, Tina.

    Roland F. Dorn, 48, of Hilbert, died suddenly Monday after being stricken with a heart attack while shopping in downtown Chilton.

    He was born Sept. 21, 1916, at R. 2, Hilbert, Town of Harrison, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Dorn, and was married to LaVerne Schulz March 3, 1945 at Peace United Church of Christ, Potter.

    Mr. Dorn was a member of the HIlbert fire department and the American Legion post of Hilbert. He worked as a carpenter.

    Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Miss Gloria, at home; a sister, Mrs. Edward Diedrich, Hilbert, and three brothers, Richard and Rodney, both of R. 2, Hilbert, and Ralph, Denver, Colo.

    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Peace UCC, Potter, with the Rev. Quentin Moeschberger, pastor of Ebenezer United Church of Christ, Chilton, officiating.

    Military services will be conducted by the American Legion at the grave in Brillion Community Cemetery.

    Friends may call at the Kapitzke Funeral Home, Hilbert, until 11:30 a.m. Wednesday and then at the church.

    A memorial services will be held at 7 PM on Wednesday November 17, 2004 at Wieting Family Funeral Home, 411 W. Main St., in Chilton with Deacon Dennis Bennin officiating. Burial of Rodney's cremains will take place in the Brillion Community Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 6 PM until the time of service.

  • Note: Mrs. Wilford Weiseckel was called to an untimely death Monday afternoon, following an operation at St. Elizabeth hospital, Appleton, Sunday.

    She was Murla Dorn, the older daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dorn who reside on a farm on the town line between Stockbridge and Harrison. She was born on the farm June 6, 1914 and was a graduate of Stockbridge high school in the class of 1932.
    She assisted her parents on the farm until her marriage to Wilford Wieseckel at St. Mary’s Church Nov. 20, 1935. They young couple took up residence in the Ralph Hawley home until Mr. Wieseckel acquired the Mert Hawley Meat Market, where they moved into the living quarters there. They had made considerable improvements and were comfortably settled, which makes the passing of Mrs. Wieseckel so much sadder.

    Mrs. Wieseckel was a devoted daughter and wife and highly esteemed by her friends and neighbors. The funeral will be held Thursday from St. Mary’s church to St. Mary’s cemetery.

    She leaves to mourn her death, her husband, Wilford Wieseckel, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dorn; one sister, Mrs. Edward Diedrich, Hilbert; four brothers, Roland, Richard, Rodney and Ralph; nd her grandmother, Mrs. Carl Stroshine.
