  • Note: Oliver P Mennen, 93 of De Pere passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016. He was born in West De Pere on December 3, 1922 to the late William and Louise (Aerts) Mennen. On November 29, 1947 he married Arlene Ruth Ziesemer. She preceded him in death on March 18, 2011. He graduated from Nicolet High School in West De Pere and also attended University Farm Short Course Program.

    Oliver served in the US Army, Black Hawk Division from 1943 to 1946. He dairy farmed for 43 years on Creamery Rd in De Pere and was a member of National Farmers Organization (NFO). He enjoyed the outdoors, attending auctions, NFO meetings and spending time with friends and family. In 1975 he was baptized and dedicated himself as one of Jehovah's Witnesses to teach the Good News of the Kingdom of God to all the inhabited earth (Mat 24:14)

    Arlene and Oliver had seven children, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Arlene, his daughter Barbara, and his brothers Carl, Harold and Raymond.

Colleen was born September 4, 1936 in Oconto to the late Orville and Katherine (Kain) LeMay. She married Dean Smith on July 9, 1955. He preceded her in death on February 11, 1985. Colleen was a member of Holy Trinity Parish, Oconto.

    Colleen is survived by a daughter, Cindy Cardinal, Oconto; a son, Terry (Kate) Smith, Oconto; a brother, Charles LeMay, Oconto; five grandchildren, Chad, Katie and Joey Cardinal, Justin and Tyler Smith; and one great grandchild, Lily Smith. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Tom Cardinal; sister-in-law, Lyda LeMay; and sister, Lois Neely.

    The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 4 to 7 PM Friday, July 8, 2016.     Charles is survived by two daughters, Kristine LeMay, Green Bay; Kathryn LeMay, Green Bay; niece and nephew, Cindy Cardinal, Terry and Kate Smith; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Colleen Smith and Lois Neely.

  • Note: Alexander William Ullmer, baby boy of Nicholas and Amy (Brunner) Ullmer, was welcomed into God's arms on July 3, 2016 after a courageous seven-week battle at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Alexander was born May 13, 2016 in Neenah and in his short life, he touched the lives of everyone he encountered.

    He will be sadly missed by his parents, Nicholas and Amy, his twin sister Amelia Pearl, maternal grandparents; Clyde and Donna Brunner of New Franken; paternal grandparents Gary and Mary Claire Ullmer of Denmark; paternal great-grandmother Angeline Ullmer of Shiocton; maternal great-grandparents Alwin and Shirley Baeten of Green Bay; maternal aunts and uncles: Lori (Jason) Dart and their son Jace, and Tammy (special friend Tony) Brunner; paternal aunts and uncles: Monica (Ken) Stencil, Andy (Tawny) Ullmer, Melissa (Chris) Olson, Christopher (fiancé Chelsea) Ullmer, Michelle (Brian) Quick, Mary (Kellam) Carmody, Natasha (Corey) Kempen, Cathryn (Pete) Schmoll, Peter (Lindsey) Ullmer, Angela (Eric) Enderby (Alexander's Godparents), Collette (special friend Matt) Ullmer and Courtney Ullmer; as well as numerous cousins.

    Welcoming Alexander into heaven are his paternal great-grandparents; Edward and Lucille Sobieck and Harvey Ullmer; cousins Dylan Stencil and Peter Schmoll, Jr.; maternal great-grandparents Clem and Pearl Brunner.

    Our family would like to thank the medical staff at Theda Care in Neenah and the Children's Hospital in Neenah and Milwaukee, for making the last seven weeks as comforting as possible for us.
