  • Birth: Gerald J Brice was born on April 7, 1930 in Green Bay, Brown Co, Wisconsin.
  • Marriage: He was married on June 1, 1949 in Green Bay, Brown Co, Wisconsin.
  • Death: He died on June 25, 2016, at age 86.
  • Burial: He was buried in Allouez Catholic Cemetery, Green Bay, Brown Co, Wisconsin.
  • Note: Gerald J. "Jerry" Brice, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 25, 2016. He was born in Green Bay on April 7, 1930 to the late Harold and Hazel Kornowske Brice and attended grade school in Green Bay. In 1943 his family moved to Bellevue, where he resided for the remainder of his life. He married Doris Klahn on June 1, 1949 in Green Bay. In September of 1952 he was hired by Charmin Paper (now Procter & Gamble). He took great pride in his job and enjoyed the people he worked with throughout the years. In the summer of 1984 he was forced to retire due to injuries from an accident. After a lengthy recovery he spent most days in his garage woodworking and repairing numerous items for family and friends. He also spent many hours on his tractors and lawnmowers.

    Jerry is survived by his wife of 67 years: Doris, four sons: Larry (Linda) Brice, of Bellevue, Randy (Jane) Brice, of Bellevue, David "Duke" (Patty) Brice, of Green Bay, Dale (Peggy) Brice, of Bellevue, one daughter: Jill (Dave) Bielinski, of Bellevue, seven grandchildren: Wesley (Amber) Brice, Angela (Lamar) Blindauer, Nicole (Jeff) VanLangendon, Adam Brice, Robert (Jessica) Worthington, Greg (Michelle) Vine, Mark (Kim) Vine, 12 great-grandchildren, one brother: Ron (Carol) Brice, of Bellevue, one sister: Joyce (Pete) Vanden Bergh, of Bellevue, two sisters-in-law: Linda Brice, Carol (Clarence) Mickelson, all of Green Bay, a former sister-in-law: Carol VanLanen, of Wild Rose, numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister and brother-in-law: Germaine and Robert Matzke, one brother: Dan Brice, and a sister-in-law: Virginia (Don) Walker.

    In accordance to Jerry's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2016 at the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum in Green Bay, with Deacon Larry Mastalish officiating, with inurnment to follow in the mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call after 11:30 a.m. on Friday at the mausoleum chapel until the time of service at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in his name. Jerry's family would like to thank the entire staff of Unity Hospice especially to Melanie, Melissa, and Molly for their compassionate care and to the staff at Bornemann Nursing Home for making Jerry's final days comfortable. The Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home of Mishicot is assisting the family with arrangments. (920-755-2212)
