    Jansen, Sr., Patrick John Peter Patrick John Peter Jansen, Sr. passed from this world into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, November 23, 2005, surrounded by his family. Patrick was born on November 6, 1934 to the late Martin Sr. and Cora Jansen in Appleton. He was united in marriage to Carol Theresa Kohl on August 29, 1959. Patrick and Carol were blessed with four beautiful children. Patrick attended school in Kimberly prior to joining the military. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, bravely serving his country during the Korean War. Following his service with the military, Patrick was employed by Kimberly-Clark for the next 43 years, retiring in 1996. He enjoyed fishing on Lake Winnebago until the storms chased him off the water, camping with his children when they were little, woodworking and carving animals, and being the handyman for his entire family. Patrick will be greatly missed by his children and their families: Geralyn (Wayne) Gassmann of Broken Arrow, OK and their children, Wayne, Jr., Joshua and Jeremiah; Rita (Gregory) Breaker of Hortonville and their children, Matthew, Justin, Kayla, Mitchell and Jesse; Carol (Kevin) Manteufel of West Bend and their children, Keegan, Mandie, Tiffany, Aubrey, Tabatha, Quinn and Gwynn; Patrick (Jean) Jansen of Menasha and their children, Lucas and Elizabeth. He is also survived by his sisters: Mathilda Stuyvenberg and Dorothy Jansen, both of Appleton; a brother: Archie Jansen of Combined Locks; his best friends, Dusty Albracht and John Marciniak; his friends, Nick and Dee Nakonecky and John Hovie; and his loyal canine companion, Grace. Patrick was preceded in death by his wife Carol, his sister Ann Lemmers, his brothers Martin Jr. and Martinez, and his precious grandchildren Bethany Gassmann and Owen Manteufel. The memorial service for Patrick will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 27, 2005 at JANSEN FARGO FUNERAL HOME with Fr. Richard Allen officiating.   • Note: Goetzman, Robert 2004 Appleton Post Crescent dated 3/3/2004; Goetzman, Robert H.; Robert H. Goetzman, age 88, of Kaukauna, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2004, at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna. Bob was born in Kaukauna on April 8, 1915, son of the late Frank and Ann (Feller) Goetzman. He attended Holy Cross Grade School and graduated with honors from the Kaukauna High School in 1933. On June 8, 1940, he married the former LaVerne Kromer, she survives. Bob was employed by Thilmany Pulp and Paper Company in October of 1933 and was transferred to the office in 1941. Over the years, he held various positions in sales, and retired in 1977 as the Manager of Administrative Services. He had been with Thilmany for forty-three years and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. While his son Lance was growing up, Bob was active in the Cub Scouts and the Boy Scouts, and assisted in the construction of various buildings at the Girl Scout Camp at White Rapids. Bob was a charter member of the Kaukauna Junior Chamber of Commerce and received the Jaycee’s Man of the Year Award in 1951 after having served as Vice President for one term. He was a member of the Kaukauna Improvement Committee, now known as the Environmental Committee. This committee was instrumental in the formation of the Thousand Islands Nature Center. Bob was a former member of the Kaukauna Housing Authority Commission from 1968 until 1989, during which time he served as its chairman for four years. During that time, the Golden Venture Apartments were completely renovated. Bob was also a member of the Kaukauna Alumni Association, its Board of Directors, its President, and its Advisory Board and received the coveted Alumni Award in 1992. He volunteered at the St. Vincent de Paul Store following his retirement, and continued his involvement there for some twenty-one years. Bob was a former member of the Kaukauna Elks Lodge, and was a 50-year member of Council #1033 of the Knights of Columbus where he served as treasurer. Bob was also an avid hunter and fisherman until his retirement at which time recreation turned to golfing, bowling, and walking. While his children were attending St. Mary School, he was a member of the Home School Association. Survivors include three daughters: Hope (John) VanDeHey of Neenah; Suzanne (Dr. Lee) Jacques of San Diego; and Lynn (Robert) Hunter of Kaukauna; a son, Lance (Donna) Goetzman of Kaukauna; 13 grandchildren: Karen (Pat) Tschimperle, Sara (Leo) Ebben, Steve (Marsha) Goetzman, Jeff (Robyn) Goetzman, Emily (Dr. Jeremy) Fritz, Paige (Jeff) Quigley, Scott (Barb) VanDeHey, Amy (Chris) Froze, Holly Jacques Scialdone, Robert (Karey) Jacques, Rachelle Meyerhofer, Jodi (Paul) Gardner, Ross DeCoster; 23 great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Art (Leila) Kromer, Jr. of Kaukauna. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Virginia Coenen; two brothers-in-law: Lester Coenen and Jerome Coenen; his in-laws, Art and Grace Kromer, Sr.; as well as by numerous aunts and uncles. The funeral liturgy for Bob will be held at 12 noon Thursday, March 4, 2004 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street in Kaukauna with Fr. Jack Mullarkey officiating.     Jansen, Dorothy Ann Dorothy A. Jansen, of Appleton, died Tuesday, June 6, 2006, at Brewster Village. She was born August 12, 1920, in Kimberly the daughter of the late Martinis and Jacoba “Cora” (Williams) Jansen.

    Dorothy is survived by her sister, Tillie Stuyvenberg of Appleton; her brother, Archie (Betty) Jansen of Combined Locks and sister-in-law, Lorraine Jansen of Menasha. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    Dorothy was preceded in death by her brothers: Marty and Patrick Jansen and her sister, Ann Lemmers.

    The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 9, 2006, at 2 p.m. at JANSEN FARGO FUNERAL HOME with Sister Annette Koss officiating. Inurnment will take place at Holy Spirit Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Friday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service.

    Stuyvenberg, Mathida


    Mathilda Stuyvenberg, 91, of Kimberly, passed away on Sunday, September 20, 2009, at Living Tree Estates. Mathilda was born on July 1, 1918, to the late Martin and Cora (Williams) Jansen in Kimberly.

    She was an avid Packers Fan and was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

    Mathilda is survived by one son, Vincent N. (Joan) Forster, Greenville; one daughter, Sandra Felber, Milwaukee; six grandchildren: Scott, Mark, Bradley, Vincent D., Jennifer, Anna; six great-grandchildren: Brandt, Brandon, Madysen, Alina, Vincent W., and Isabelle; and one brother, Archie (Betty) Jansen of Combined Locks; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

    Mathilda was preceded in death by her husbands, Vincent John Forster and Julius Stuyvenberg; an infant daughter Mary; and two brothers and two sisters.

    A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the HOLY SPIRIT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 600 E. Kimberly Ave, with Fr. David Beaudry officiating. Inurnment will be in the Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call on Thursday, September 24, 2009, from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass at the Church.
