    Funeral services for Henry Coenen, 78, of 708 Draper Street, were at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Holy Cross Catholic church with the Rev. Robert Kabat officiating. Interment was in St. John Cemetery, Little Chute.
    Mr. Coenen, former owner of the Rose Hill Bar, died at 12 midnight on Saturday, August 15, following a brief illness.
    He was born July 31, 1903 in Wrighstown. Mr. Coenen was a member of the Construction Labor Local 931 at Appleton.
    Survivors include his wife, Nettie De Bruin Coenen, four daughters and sons-in-law, Julia and Jim Schuh, Lois and Dave Pomeroy, and Sharon and Tom Belling, all of Kaukauna and Shirley and Norm Carlson of Kimberly; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Aurella Coenen of Freedom; four brothers, Walter of Green Bay, Ray and Harvey, both of Kaukauna, and Urban of De Pere; a sister, Mrs. Henry (Loretta) Jansen of Appleton; 39 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by numerous brothers, sisters and two grandchildren, Mark Biese and John Coenen.
    The Verkuilen Funeral Home, Little Chute, was in charge of arrangements.

    Age 94, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2002 at Parkside Care Center in Little Chute following a short illness. She was born on April 6, 1907 in Wrightstown the daughter of the late Theodore and Mary (Van De Hei) Coenen. On September 20, 1926 she married Henry Jansen and he passed away in 1991. Loretta and Henry resided on North Union Street in Appleton for many years, and also at Zion Mutual Homes.

    She is survived by her children Eugene (Rita) Jansen of Menasha, Earl Jansen of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and Yvonne (Lyle) Butts of Menasha; 18 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and a son-in-law Paul Dohr. Mrs. Jansen is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry J., a daughter Elaine Dohr, a granddaughter Cathy (Dohr) Perham, and nine brothers and four sisters.

    Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, March 18, 2002 at 4:00 PM at ST. THERESE CATHOLIC CHURCH, Morrison Street and Wisconsin Avenue in Appleton with the Rev. Daniel Gilsdorf officiating. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 2:30 PM until the time of the service. A memorial fund is being established for St. Therese Catholic Church.

    A former resident of Wrightstown, age 81, died Thursday morning, August 9, 1990 at a Green Bay Hospital. The son of the late Theodore J. and Mary (Van De Hey) Coenen, he was born March 27, 1909 in the Town of Wrightstown. He is survived by a sister and three brothers: Loretta and Henry Jansen, Appleton; Raymond J. Coenen, Kaukauna; Harvey and Beulah Coenen, Lake Poygan; Urban and Janet Coenen, De Pere; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers: William, Peter, Henry, Joe, and Richard; and four sisters: Millie Baumgard, Hattie Pitsch, Cecelia Pitsch, and Anna Pennenberg. Due to the extensive remodeling at the funeral home in Wrightstown, friends may call at St. Paul CAtholic church, Wrightstown after 9 a.m. Saturday until the time of the funeral. Funeral mass is 10:30 Saturday at the church. Father Richard Shafer, pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A memorial fund has been established. The De Wayne-Boettcher-Cotter Funeral Home, 711 Main Street, Wrightstown is handling the arrangements.

    Age 80, died unexpectedly Sunday, March 24, 1991 at Kaukauna Community Hospital. He was born July 8, 1910 in Wrightstown, the son of the late Theodore J. and Mary (VandeHey) Coenen. Ray married Lorinda Tuchow July 1, 1930. She preceded him in death in 1970. They farmed for 33 years and he had been chairman of the school board of the Town of Center. He was a member and past president of Laborers Local #931 of Appleton. He was a member of the NFO since 1967, the Lions Club and Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna. He is survived by five children: Kenneth and Lois Coenen, Donald and JoAnn Coenen, Kermit and Joan Coenen, Duane and Rosie Coenen, all of Appleton; Linda and Eugene Kiponen, Columbia Falls, Montana; 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, two brothers and five sisters-in-law: Harvey and Beulah Coenen, larsen; Urban and Jeanett Coenen, De Pere; Mary Kempen, Lillian Coenen, and Ellie Demerath, all of Kaukauna; a sister, Loretta Jansen, Appleton; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Raymond and Ellie Tuchow, Appleton; two sisters-in-law: Ruth Tuchow, Neenah and Viola Tuchow, Appleton. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Thomas Coenen in 1987; six brothers: William, Peter, Henry, Joseph, Walter, and Richard Coenen; four sisters: Anna, hattie, N ell, and Ceil. The funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Fr. Jack Mullarkey officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral Home, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave., Kaukauna, from 4 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday and after 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday until the cortege leaves for the church.   • Note: Age 86, passed away Monday, April 16, 2001 at a local nursing home. Harvey was born October 12, 1914 in Wrightstown, son of the late Theodore and Mary (Van De Hei) Coenen. He was previously married to Lorraine Schuh Coenen and Beulah Buelow Coenen; both of his wives preceded him in death. Harvey was employed by Thilmany Pulp and Paper for over forty years, and was a member and former president of the Quarter-Century Club there. He was also a past-president of the union local #147 and of the Kaukauna Rod and Gun Club. Harvey enjoyed spending time at Lake Poygan and in Phoenix, Arizona. He loved fishing for perch, playing sheephead, and visiting with family and friends.

    Harvey is survived by his four children: Nancy (Roger) Noonan of Kaukauna; Carol Noonan of Kaukauna; David (JoAnn) Coenen of Kaukauna; Donna (David) Lund of Gillett, Wyoming; two step-sons: Leroy (Margaret) Buelow of Menomonee Falls and Dick (Chick) Buelow of Phoenix, Arizona; twenty-three grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; a sister: Loretta Jansen of Menasha; two sisters-in-law: Beverly School of Kaukauna and Ellie Demerath of Wrightstown; and a brother-in-law: Melvin Buelow of Fond du lac. Harvey was preceded in death by his wives Lorraine Schuh Coenen and Beulah Buelow Coenen, a granddaughter Paula Coenen; eight brothers: Joe (Laura) Coenen, Peter (Lillian) Coenen, Henry (Nettie) Coenen, Bill (Mary) Coenen, Walter Coenen, Ray (Lindy) Coenen, Richard Coenen, and urban (Jeanette) Coenen; four sisters: Nell (Fred) Baumgart, Anne (Peter) Pynenberg, Ceil (Al) Pierre, and Hattie (John) Pitsch; and a brother-in-law Henry Jansen.

    The funeral liturgy for Harvey will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, April 20, 2001 at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 119 West 7th Street in Kaukauna with Fr. Robert Udulutsch, OFM Cap. officiating. Interment will be in Kelso Cemetery. Friends may call directly at the church on Friday from 2:00 PM until the hour of services.
