Wilpolt, 84, 26 Main St. a member of Menasha's volunteer fire department for 37 years, died at 2:30 Sunday afternoon after being in poor health for a year. He was born July 28, 1872, in Sparta and had lived in Menasha for 55 years, coming from Kaukauna. He had been employed at the Menasha Wooden Ware for 50 years before retiring. He retired from volunteer fire service in 1941 when the paid department was established although he served as vacation relief fireman during the war years. He was a member of the Eagles, Catholic Order of Foresters and of Holy Name Society of St. Mary's Church. Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in Kaukauna. Friends may call at the Laemmrich Funeral Home after 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon and the rosary will be said there at 7 o'clock, 7:30 and 8:30 Tuesday night.Survivors are the widow; a half brother Ted Micke, Clouquet, MN. and two half sisters, Mrs. Elisabeth Peters, Rudolph, and Mrs. Gertrude Peters, Portland, Oregon

    1957 Twin City News Record dated 3/25/1957; Death Claims Henry Wilpolt; Henry J. Wilpolt, 84, of 26 Main St., Menasha, died at his home at 2:30 Sunday morning. He had been in poor health for the past year. He was born July 28, 1872 in Sparta, Wis., and had been a Menasha resident the past 55 years. He came to Menasha from Kaukauna, and was retired from Menasha Wooden Ware Corp. where he had been employed for 50 years. He also served for 37 years on the volunteer fire department for Menasha until the time paid crews were hired. He had also helped the department during World War II on his vacations. He was a member of the Menasha Eagles, The Catholic Order of Foresters, and the Holy Name Society of St. Mary's church. Survivors are his widow, a half-brother, Ted Micke of Cloquet, MN. and two half sisters, Mrs. Elisabeth Peters, Rudolph, Wis., and Mrs. Gertrude Peters, Portland Ore. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 am at St. Mary's church. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Kaukauna.

She was born August 5, 1879 in Freedom. She had been a Menasha resident all of her life. Survivors include nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Laemmrich Funeral home and 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Robert Lussier officiating. Internment will be at Holy Cross cemetery, Kaukauna.

    1980 unknown newspaper dated 3/17/1980 WILPOLT - Mrs Henry (Catherine), 100, Oakridge Garden Nursing Center, and formerly of 26 Main St. Menasha, died Friday evening. She was born Aug. 5, 1879, in Freedom, and was a resident of Menasha all of her life. She was active in the St. Ann Society of St. Mary Catholic church and Catholic Order of Foresters. Survivors include one brother William Geldernick, DePere; nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Laemmrich funeral home and Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Robert Lussier officiating. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Kaukauna.
