She was born on July 14, 1929 in Green Bay to the late Elmer and Mary (Polomis) Duqaine, Sr. Rita was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy in Green Bay. She was employed at Northwest Engineering for over 27 years as a bookkeeper. Rita was a lifelong member of St. John the Evangelist Parish.

    She is survived by her brother, Ron Duquaine of Green Bay.

    She was preceded in death by one brother, Elmer Duquaine, Jr.

    Friends may call at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 413 St. John St. after 10:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of Mass. Funeral Mass 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the church with Rev. Joseph Dorner officiating. Burial in the Allouez Catholic Cemetery. Online condolences may be expressed at www.prokowall.com. In lieu of floral tributes a memorial fund has been established in Rita's name.

    Rita's family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses and staff of Manor Care East and Unity Hospice. Their care and concern will always be remembered.

    He is survived by one sister, Rita Mae Duquaine, and one brother, Ronald Duquaine, as well as many friends.

    Friends may call at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 413 St. John Street, Green Bay, on Saturday from 9 a.m.-11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 11 a.m. with Fr. John Girotti officiating. Burial at Allouez Catholic Cemetery.

Sharon Lee McGlachlin

  • Note: Sharon Lee (McGlachlin) Linsmeyer, 67, Green Bay, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015, with her family at her side. She was born September 5, 1947, to the late Claude and Patricia (Charbonneau) McGlachlin and graduated from Green Bay West High School. She worked for 20+ years at the Homestead Supper Club, Pulaski. Sharon met her husband, Joseph Linsmeyer III, at Mary's Diner in Green Bay, where she worked as a waitress. Sharon and Joseph married August 17, 1968, in Green Bay. After marriage, they moved to Pittsfield, where they started their family. He preceded her in death on March 26, 1992.

    Sharon treasured making Christmas cookies with her grandchildren for the past 21 years. She enjoyed making cakes for her family and friends for birthdays, weddings, and special occasions. She didn't let her health or her wheelchair get in her way this past year. Sharon loved to spend time watching her son, Joe, participate in Special Olympics, and cherished watching her grandchildren's activities.

    She also enjoyed reading mysteries, watching her CSI shows, doing jigsaw puzzles, and collecting Eeyores. Sharon was a wonderful mom, grandma, and sister. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

    Survivors include her children: Joe Linsmeyer, Patti Linsmeyer, Bobbie (Dave) Binsfeld, and James (Katie) Linsmeyer; and her beloved grandchildren: Crystal, Connor, and Courtney Binsfeld, and Blake, Madison, and Owen Linsmeyer. She is further survived by her sisters: Karen (Rod) Hansen, Sue (Alvie) Rowell, Patti (Meril) Boulanger, and Wendy McGlachlin; a brother, Jeff McGlachlin (Delores Dunbar); a sister-in-law, Nancy Linsmeyer; a godson, Nathaniel Boulanger; numerous nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Matthew; grandchildren: Brandon, Jared, and Brett; a niece, Dawn Rowell; her parents; a sister-in-law, Marge VanRoy; brothers-in-law: Casey VanRoy and Robert Linsmeyer; and Wendy's fiancé, Bruce Walter.

    Friends may call from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Saturday at Marnocha Funeral Home, 186 E. Pulaski Street, Pulaski. The Funeral Service will take place at 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, Fr. James Esser, O.F.M. officiating. Burial will take place in spring in Elm Grove Cemetery.

    The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses, CNAs, and the entire staff of Grancare Nursing Center in Green Bay for the care and compassion they showed our mom during her last months with us.

  • Note: Mary A. Panure, 80, Green Bay, died peacefully, Monday, March 9, 2015, at a local hospital surrounded by her family. Born in Green Bay, June 11, 1934, she is the daughter of the late John and Virginia (Vandenbosch) Callahan. She married Darrell Panure, February 14, 1953, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Green Bay. Mary worked at Bellin Hospital for 25 years. She loved to play bingo with her husband, Darrell, and times spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mary was known by family and friends for her pickled eggs and fried chicken. She was very proud of her Irish family and the fact that the Callahan's all stuck together.

    Mary is survived by her husband, Darrell; 4 children, Kathy (Mark) Blozinski, children, Erin (Pablo), Emily, and Mallory; Michael Panure; Karen Panure, daughter, Heather (Rory); and Sue Panure, children, Adam and Alex VanBoxel; 4 great grandchildren, Hannah, Addison, Braxten and McKena; 10 brothers and sisters, John (Faye), Pat (Karen), Ollie (Dick), Maureen (Al), Allen (Pat), Larry (Judy), Dennis (Lynn), Bob (Colleen), Terry (John), and Mark (Molly); Connie (Jerry), Carol (Bob), Joanne (Dick), Germaine, and Judy (Bob); further survived by many other relatives and friends.

    Mary's wishes were to have private services held at a later date. Malcore (West) Funeral Home is caring for the family.
