Over their 40 years of marriage, together they raised four children and enjoyed eleven grandchildren.He enjoyed fishing, camping, golfing and spending time with his grandchildren and his many close friends. Don was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. His smile and love of life was contagious.

    Don is survived by his wife, Janice; children, Craig (Stacy) Basten, Michelle (Brian) Neuens, Tina (Tom) Schmidt, and Sheri (Dave) Omernik; grandchildren, Rachel, Elizabeth, Abby, Bailey, Marcus, Katie, Adrienne, Alex, Grady, Emily and Aubrey; brothers, Norbert (Betty) Basten and Francis (Diane) Basten; sister-in-law, Nancy Basten; in-laws, Sue & Ron Conard, Ron & Carol Phillips, Dan & Linda Phillips, Diane & Dave Dimmer, and Alan & Mary Ellen Phillips; and many nieces and nephews.

    He is preceded in death by his parents; father-in law & mother-in-law, Richard & Helen Phillips; brother, Leo Basten and twin brother, Ronald Basten.
