David graduated as Valedictorian of Crivitz High School class of 1969. On March 13, 1971, David married Glenda Bertrand at St. Joseph's Church in Walsh. He worked for Wiedemeier Saw Mill and Menominee Paper. He most recently was a union pipe fitter with Local #111. He was a member of St. Mary's Church. David enjoyed camping, golfing, and spending time with his family and friends. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. He loved making others happy and would always have a joke for you to help brighten the day.
David is survived by his wife of 39 years, Glenda; parents, Kenneth and Caroline Walters of Crivitz; a son, Mark (Crestamari) Walters of Fort Lewis, Wash.; three grandchildren: Kayla, Kandyce and Christian; four step-grandchildren: James Salazar, Megan McKinney, Maddy McKinney and Dylan Comins; four brothers: Alvin (Judy "Cookie") Walters, Daniel (Jill) Walters, both of Porterfield, Steven Walters of Green Bay and Scott (Tara) Walters of Black Creek; three sisters: Janet (special friend Jim Naniot) Wrobleski of Wausaukee, Rita Walters of Marinette and Tammie (special friend Kerry Fleek) Krzeminski of Omaha, Neb.; brothers and sisters-in-law: Bill (Shirley) Bertrand of Marinette, Jerry (Linda) Bertrand of Illinois, Fran (Norm) Klitzke of Menominee, Sharon (Art Jones) Boivin of Marinette, Judy (Bob) Kohlbeck of Florida, Leah Bertrand of Marinette, Annette Bertrand of Boston and Carl Servatious of Marinette; and many-many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. David was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth; mother and father-in-law, Walter and Opal Bertrand; brothers-in-law: Jim Bertrand, Bob Bertrand, Dick Bertrand, Steve Bertrand and Wayne Bertrand and sisters-in-law: Evelyn Servatious and Donna Mae Bertrand.
Friends may call at the Thielen Funeral Home on Sunday, June 27 from 3 to 7 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 7 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held at SS Joseph & Edward Parish in Walsh on Monday June 28 at 11 a.m. with Rev. William Stengel officiating.

Kenneth M. Walters, 30, 711 Oak St., Peshtigo, died Sunday, April 28.
Born July 26, 1971 to Mr. and Mrs. David (Glenda Bertrand) Walters in Marinette, he was a 1990 graduate of Crivitz High School. He was employed by Anchor Coupling in Menominee, and previously worked for Marinette Casting and Waupaca Foundry. On Nov. 10, 2000 he married Donna M. Curry.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Kayla Dolores Walters of Seymour; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. David (Glenda) Walters of Peshtigo; a brother, Mark (Cris) of Fort Richardson in Anchorage, Ak.; one grandson; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth (Caroline) Walters of Crivitz; a step-son, Sean (Aimee) Klussendorf of Waukesha; and two step-daughters, Kim Klussendorf and Mrs. Trent (Lisa) Kowalski, both of McKenney, Tex. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter (Opal) Bertrand; great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry (Amy) Walters, and Mr. and Mrs. Albert (Mary) Walters.
Friends may call at the Thielen Funeral Home in Marinette on Wednesday, May 1 from 4 to 8 p.m. with a wake service at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be conducted Thursday, May 2 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church in Walsh. Rev. James Massart will officiate with burial in Forest Home Cemetery.
