Born in Green Bay, May 15, 1946, she is the daughter of the late Alexander and Elizabeth (Peerenboom) Thyrion, Sr. Hazel married Jerry Zich, June 24, 1989, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Green Bay. She acquired an Associate Degree in Accounting while raising her four children, worked at Green Bay Drop Forge for several years, and then worked at the Salvation Army of Brown County as Business Manager of the west side and later Coordinator at the Kroc Center. Hazel enjoyed going to her cottage in Door County and spending time with her friends there. She loved times spent with her children and grandchildren.

    She is survived by her husband, Jerome "Jerry" Zich; 7 children, Laurie (Art) Johnson all of Green Bay, Lynn (Denis) Craanen of New Franken, Todd (Virginia Johnson) Hayden of Oneida, Gary (Clarissa) Hayden of Mazatlán, MX, Amy (Spike) Mitok of Door County, Jeff (Deb) Zich of Green Bay, and Tracy (Glen Merkle) McDonald of Door County; 7 grandchildren, Nicole (Greg), Courtney (Josh), Evan, Jac, Shannon, Holly, and Harrison; 3 great grandchildren, Isaac, Gregory, and Gabriella; siblings, Patricia Dury, Richard (Sharon) Thyrion, Robert Thyrion, Alvin Thyrion, Sue DeGrave, Tom Thyrion, Leonard (Sharon) Thyrion, Nancy (Larry) Huven, Roseanne (Russ) Kloehn, and Judy (Ed) Charlier; nieces and nephews.

    Hazel was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Sean; siblings, Shirley Ann, Alex "Bucky" Thyrion, Jr., and JoJo Santy.

Richard was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin on January 16, 1940 to the late Alex and Elizabeth(Peerenboom) Thyrion, Sr. He married Sharon Brunette on June 15, 1996 after a long courtship. Richard retired in 2009 from Green Bay Drop Forge after 45 years. Richard was a proud United States Marine and belonged to American Legion Post 518 for many years. Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, watching the Packers, sitting around bonfires, long trips,, and spending time with his family... especially his grandkids.

    He is survived by Wife, Sharon Thyrion, Daughter, Misty(Mike)Becker, Step-Daughters, Jackie Nooyen-Golec, Renee Nooyen, and Shelly Nooyen. Grandchildren, Chantel, Bonnie, Tiffany(Charles), Kimberly, Samantha, Darren, Dustin, and Michael(Christine). Siblings, Patricia Dury, Robert Thyrion, Sue Degrave, Tom Thyrion, Leonard(Sharon)Thyrion, Nancy(Larry)Huven, Roseanne(Russ)Kloehn, Judy(Edward)Charlier. Very dear friend, Buck Newbury. Also, many friends, nieces, and nephews.

    Richard was preceded in death by his siblings Alex "Bucky", Alvin, Shirley Ann Thyrion, Hazel Zich, Jo Jo Santy, and Gary Nys.

    Visitation will be held on Monday, November 14, 2016 from 10:00 am-11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home, 340 South Monroe Avenue, Green Bay, with a Funeral Service following at 11:00 am.

    Sharon Thyrion, age 70, of Ashwaubenon, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at her home. She was born December 3, 1946 in Green Bay, daughter of the late William Sr. and Dorothy (Fonder) Brunette.

    Sharon married Richard "Dick" Thyrion on June 15, 1996 after a long courtship. They shared 21 loving years of marriage before he preceded her in death in November of 2016. Sharon and Dick shared a love of the outdoors and enjoyed fishing together. They also shared a love for the Green Bay Packers. Sharon liked to spend time tending her gardens and trips with the girls to play Bingo. She loved to travel with her family, especially trips "up north" to visit Alice and Ken. First and foremost, Sharon was a loving wife and proud mom and grandma. Her spunkiness will be dearly missed by her family.

    Sharon is survived by her daughters: Jacqueline "Jackie" Golec, Renee Nooyen, Michelle "Shelly" Nooyen and Misty (Mike) Becker; 8 grandchildren: Tiffany (Charles), Kimberly, Samantha, Darren, Dustin, Michael (Christine), Chantel and Bonnie and siblings: Alice (Ken) Harris, Clarence (Jerri) Brunette, Margaret Berry, Elaine (Jim) Caelwaerts and Robert (Monty) Brunette. She is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind close friends, Duwayne and Lynn Newbury.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Dick and siblings: Dorothy Bogdanski, Diane Gurnitz and Gerald, David, William Jr., Ronald, Roland and Harold Brunette.

Alvin worked as a crane operator for Smitty's and Lasch Wrecking and lastly he was employed with Oneida Casino. He will be remembered for his enjoyment of fishing.

    Alvin is survived by one son, Travis (fiancee' Gwen) Thyrion; three grandchildren, Courtney, Ethan, and Emma; three step-children; Tina, Tom and Mike; sisters, Judy, Roseanne, Nancy, Susan, and Patricia; brothers, Leonard, Tom, Robert, and Richard; special "brother", Gary Nys; many nieces and nephews.

    Preceded in death by sisters, Hazel, Josephine, and Shirley Ann; brother, Alex, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.

  • Note: Donald U. Lokrantz, 77, of Beloit passed away at Golden Living Center in Ft Atkinson on Thursday, January 8, 2015. He was born in Bloomer, WI on November 23, 1937 to Otto and Faye (Cayo) Lokrantz. Don married Katherine Rose in 1959 and were blessed with three sons.

    Don was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Navy on the USS Wisconsin from 1951 to 1953. After the service he went to work at the Beloit Corporation where he was an active member of the International Machinist Union for 35 plus years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors.

    Donald is survived by his sons, Dennis (Sun Ae), Mark (Laureen “Trixi”) and Randy Lokrantz; grandchildren, Cari, Jason, Arron (Irem), Kaelyb and Konley Lokrantz plus many wonderful nieces and nephews.

    Don was preceded in death by his wife Katherine, brothers Lonnie (Lincoln) and John (Jack), sister Jean, his parents Otto and Faye and grandparents Urban and Alice Cayo.

    The family would like to express a special thanks to the Golden Living Center of Ft. Atkinson and Rainbow Hospice of Jefferson for all the care and support they provided Don over his final journey.

    A memorial visitation for Donald will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 4-6pm at Rosman-Uehling-Kinzer Funeral Home and Crematory in Beloit, WI. Don and his family would enjoy the wearing of Packer and Brewer attire at the memorial service.

    In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, Beloit Meals On Wheels and the V Foundation.

Lincoln Peter Lokrantz

  • Note: Lincoln Peter Lokrantz "Lonnie", age 71, of Elk Mound went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 18, 2014. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his family.

    Lonnie was born on January 31, 1942 to the late Otto and Faye (Cayo) Lokrantz in Chippewa Falls. He married Becky Fritz and later divorced. On December 11, 1982, Lonnie married Barbara J. (McDonald) Soley in Elk Mound. He was the former owner of Little Super Store in Eau Claire. Lonnie was a very active member of Amy Chapel having served as church treasurer among many other roles. He sung tenor for many years with the Chippewa Valley Gospel Choir. He was a kind, gentle man who enjoyed helping others and was an instant friend to all who met him. Lonnie will be greatly missed.

    He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Barbara; children, Christopher (Gina) Lokrantz of Menomonie, Douglas (Paula) Lokrantz of St. Petersburg, FL, Joseph (Andrea) Lokrantz of Eau Claire, Linda Brenden of Edgerton, WI, Laura (Thomas) Hayden of Elk Mound, Roxanne (Richard) Tibbits of Milwaukee, Renee (Timothy) Boudreaux of Minneapolis, MN, and Michael Soley of Madison; grandchildren, Katelyn, Amber, Kylie (Robert), Chase, Alex, Parker, Anessa, Lucas, Caity, Brooke (David), Jessica, Seth, Terrick, Latasha, Lataya, Rheanne, Isaiah and Gabriel; great grandson, Aidan; brother, Donald Lokrantz of Beloit, WI; sister-in-law, Sandra Lokrantz of Eau Claire; brother-in-law, Ralph "Dick" Peters; many other family and friends.

    John “Jack” Joseph Lokrantz, 62, of Eau Claire, our beloved , father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, went home to his heavenly Father on Monday, August 22, 2005. John was born June 18, 1943, in Chippewa Falls, Wis., to Otto “Jim” and Faye (Cayo) Lokrantz. On November 23, 1963, he married Sandra Louise Skoug at St. Patrick's Church in Eau Claire. Among John's many accomplishments were working for Chicago Northwest Railroad, co-owning and operating a convenience store with his brother Lonnie, working as an alcohol and other drug abuse counselor and serving in the U.S. Army Reserves for seven years. His biggest accomplishment was celebrating 29 years of sobriety. He enjoyed traveling to Hawaii with his family and friends. John is survived by his wife, Sandra; his three children, James (Mary) of Blaine, Minn., Renee Latendresse of Eau Claire and Jeffery (Audra) of Elk Mound; eight grandchildren, John, Casey, Jolene (Josh) Scheurs, Jenna, Alex, Ken, Jeffery and Earl; one great-grandchild, Kihley Hope; two brothers, Don (Kathy) of Beloit, Wis., and Lonnie (Barb) of Elk Mound; one sister, Jeanne (Dick) Peters of Pennsylvania; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends. John was preceded in death by his parents; and one grandson, Josey. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 26, 2005, at the Golden Funeral Home, 1405 N. Clairemont Ave., with Rev. Edmund Klimek officiating. Inurnment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery at a later date. Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2005, and one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home. Our beloved man went home lifted on the love of family and friends with angels on his shoulders.
