    She lived in Wadena since 1943, where she was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church. Other memberships were with the Christian Mothers and church circles. She enjoyed baking cookies, camping, sewing and her family.

    She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on June 6, 1995; one grandson; four sisters and two brothers.

  • Note: Lawrence "Larry" R. Brice, age 78, of Ashwaubenon, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born April 7, 1938, to the late Ralph and Mildred (Young) Brice in Green Bay, WI.

    Larry enlisted in the US Army and honorably served his country as Staff Sergeant. Lawrence was united in marriage to Claudia "Snookie" Allen, June 10, 1961 in Maywood, California. Larry and Snookie returned to Green Bay in 1963, where they started their family and eventually settled in Ashwaubenon. Larry and Snookie owned/operated Broadway and Babcock Liquor in Ashwaubenon for many years. He was a man of faith and was member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish.

    Larry was a hard-working, loyal husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend to so many, especially Wayne (Judy) Schaut. Larry was patient, kind, humble, and generous. He loved to entertain family and friends, fish, camp, and travel. His kindness and generosity were well known and his home was a welcome place for anyone in need of refuge or support. His daughters fondly remember their daddy as their rock and their best friend. Time spent with his family was most precious to Larry. His trademark laugh could always be heard throughout any room.

    Larry is survived by his daughters, Dalyn (Tony) Krysiak, Combined Locks, WI, and Mindy Brice, Hobart, WI; 5 grandchildren: Ashton (Chris) Van Vreede, Kyle Cavil, Colten, and Brady Christensen, and Parris Brice; 3 great-grandchildren: Gabriel, Kennedy, and Briar and a brother, John "Jackson" (Ruth) Brice.

    He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Claudia "Snookie"; his parents, Ralph & Mildred (Young) Brice and his brothers, James "Jim" (Adella) Brice, and Bernard "Bernie" (Muriel) Brice.

    A Visitation will be held at NATIVITY OF OUR LORD PARISH (2270 S. Oneida St., Green Bay), Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 9 AM to 12:15 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:30 PM with the Rev. John H. Harper as celebrant. Full military honors will follow Mass as well as a reception in Larry's honor.   • Note: Dorothy M. Hare, 85, Green Bay, died Wednesday evening, February 5, 2014, at a local nursing home. Born November 11, 1928, in Green Bay, she is the daughter of the late Norbert and Myrtle (Conlon) Young. Dorothy is a graduate of East High School. She worked for Brown County Family Services, Green Bay School District and finished her career as a long-time employee with the City of Green Bay. After her retirement, Dorothy volunteered for many organizations including Unity Hospice and the Salvation Army. She was an active member of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral for many years where she loved giving of her time. Dorothy enjoyed reading, gardening, staying physically active and keeping her mind sharp by attending various classes through Learning in Retirement at UWGB. Dorothy's family, both immediate and extended, were always so very important to her.

    Dorothy is survived by five children, Mike (Joan) Hare of Hayward, Jeanne (John) O'Brien of San Antonio, TX, Mark Hare (Mike Newman) of Falls Church, VA, Maria (Mitch) Olig of Delafield, WI, and Nick (Heather Wetzler) Hare of Santa Monica, CA; grandchildren, Alicia (Jeff) Dessner, Nate Hare, Haley Olig, and MacKenzie O'Brien; three great-grandchildren, Max, Ellie and Jackson Dessner; four siblings, Elaine Smeester, Richard (Elaine) Young, Robert (Mary) Young, all of Green Bay, and Sharon (Terry) Young-Burke of Middleton, WI; many nieces and nephews.

    Also preceded in death by brother, Wayne Patrick "Pat" Young; sister, Mary Lamal; and brothers-in-law, Bernie Lamal and Don Smeester.

    Visitation at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 312 Victoria Street, Monday, from 9:30am until the time of the funeral. Memorial Mass, 10:30am Monday at the church with the Rev. Ralph C.
