  • Note: Donald R. Cropsey, age 71, of Bellevue, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, October 30, 2015 at home. He was welcomed into the arms of the Lord. Donnie was born April 28, 1944 in Green Bay, son of the late Raymond and Kathryn (Herman) Cropsey and graduated from Green Bay East High School in 1963.

    Donald served his country with the U.S. Army in Korea. He married Julieann Dufek, August 25, 1973 and together they shared 42 loving years of marriage.

    Donald worked at Packerland Packing, Inc. for 42 years. He was happily retired and loved cooking, fishing, playing cards and cheering for the Packers, Brewers and Badgers. His wife and son were his pride and joy and he loved his little dog, Licorice.

    Donald is survived by his loving wife, Julieann; his dearest son, Jim (Michelle LaFave) Cropsey; his brothers and sisters: Karen Barnack, Jon Cropsey, Connie (Gary) Corsten, Robert (Sue) Cropsey, Richard (Jackie Tragnitz) Cropsey and Colleen (Tom) Deffke; many nieces and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Jerry Barnack.

    Friends and relatives may call at NATIVITY OF OUR LORD FAMILY PARISH, (2270 S. Oneida St., Green Bay) on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 5 to 6:45 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 7 PM with the Rev. John H. Harper officiating.     Jerome John Barnack, age 77, was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on Friday, July 24, 2015

    He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Karen (Cropsey); his beloved children John (Denise) Barnack; Renee (Gregory) Pas Jr.; and Rachael (Dave) Link; also his cherished grandchildren Kate and Claire Barnack; Ephraim and Margaret Pas; and Jacob and Leo Link.

    He is also survived by brothers Roman (Phyllis) Barnack and Michael (Janice) Ritten; his sister Minerva Schmitz; and his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Jon Cropsey; Connie (Gary) Corsten; Don (Julianne) Cropsey; Robert (Sue) Cropsey; Richard (Jackie) Cropsey and Colleen (Tom) Deffke.

    Preceding him in death were his parents Claude Barnack and Margaret Ritten; stepfather Michael Ritten; father-and-mother in-law Raymond and Kathryn Cropsey; and brother-in-law Leo Schmitz.

    After beginning his education in a one-room schoolhouse in Carlos, Minn., Jerry went on to eventually earn both his BS at UWGB and an MBA at UW Oshkosh; all while working full-time loading bags at North Central Airlines in Green Bay. He spent more than 40 years working his way up the management ranks of the airline industry.

    Jerry also served in the army from 1958-1962.

    Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, 2270 South Oneida Street, from 10:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. John H. Harper officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.lyndahl.com.

    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Jerry's name for research into CBD (cortical basil degeneration) and PSP (progressive supranuclear palsy).
