    Eleanor "Ellie" Seidl, 88, Seymour, passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, April 11, 2010, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Seymour. She was born July 7, 1921, to the late Frank and Clara (Jansen) Oskey. On Nov. 29, 1941, she married Elmer "Babe" Seidl at St. John's Catholic Church in Seymour. He preceded her in death on April 17, 2009. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, and being with family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The Packers were another interest. She was a Christian Mother's Member of St. John's Catholic Church and the Seymour American Legion Auxiliary since 1947.
    She is survived by her children, Ron (Pat) Seidl, Seymour; Sue (Bob) Schreiber, Green Bay; grandchildren, Paul, Robby, Cassie, Tim, John, Mary, Pat, and Kathleen; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Tyler, Emily, Brilee, Dominic, Brianna, Abby, Emily, Jack and Logan, Maya; one sister, Jean (Tom) O'Keefe, De Pere; one brother, Ervin (Elizabeth) Oskey, Green Bay.
    She was preceded in death by one sister, Marcella Rohde and one brother, Gerald.
    Friends may call at St. John's Catholic Church, Seymour on Friday, April 16, 2010, from 9:30 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Father Bob Kabat officiating.   • Note: Thomas Richard O'Keefe, age 81, of De Pere, passed away May 7, 2014. He was born February 10, 1933 in De Pere to the late John and Frances (Dillon) O'Keefe. Tom attended St. Norbert College and served his country in the U.S. Army, having been stationed in Germany. He married Jean Oskey on June 10, 1955. In addition to being an avid outdoorsman, Tom loved collecting antiques and was a great husband and father.

    Survivors include his wife, Jean, children: Colleen (Mike) Schreiber, Rick (Roni) O'Keefe, Kelly (Julie) O'Keefe and Meghan (Tom) Reynen; grandchildren: Nikki O'Keefe, Amanda O'Keefe, Stephanie Schommer, Stephanie Reynen, Bekah (Patrick) Vasquez and Sarah (Mike) Muro. He is also survived by 2 sisters: Janice O'Keefe and Mary Stanton, as well as 5 great-grandchildren.

    In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Pat (Carol) O'Keefe and Bob (Blanche) O'Keefe.

    A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Cotter Funeral Home is assisting the family.

    Donations may be made in Tom's name to the Alzheimer's Association , Greater Wisconsin Chapter, 2900 Curry Lane, Suite A, Green Bay, WI 54311.

  • Note: Delano E. Jansen, 82, New Franken, died Monday, August 31, 2015. He was born March 14, 1933, at the family home in Lena to Gilbert and Lucille (Adams) Jansen. Del graduated from Luxemburg High School in 1952 and joined the U.S. Army. On Feb. 27, 1954, he married Cynthia A. Boucher at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Champion. He began a 30 year career with Baywest/ Mosinee Paper Company. Delano also co-owned D & J Palm Gardens with his wife. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing cards and bingo, any festivities that involved eating, travelling, and spending time with his beloved family that he was so proud of.

    Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Gwen and Steve Deterville; three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Kathy Jansen, James and Cindy Jansen, Jeffrey and Patty Jansen; eight grandchildren, Jill (Dan) Beadle, Dave Deterville, Lynn (special friend, Bill) Deterville, Jennifer (Jerry) Tennant, Christopher (Katie) Jansen, Jessica (Kyle) Rentmeester, Cassandra Jansen, Alexander Jansen; many great-grandchildren; his special friend, Dorothy Cooper; a brother, Tulio Jansen, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Linda Koenig, Cathy and William "Bill" Karmen; sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law, Janice Jansen, Wayne and Sandy Boucher, Yvonne Herlache nieces and nephews and an "adopted" daughter, Ruth (Ken) Deterville.

    He was preceded in death by his wife Cynthia on April 29, 2012; a grandchild, Geri Deterville; his parents; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wilbert and Lorraine Boucher; a brother, Darold Jansen; one sister-in-law, Judy Jansen and two brothers-in-law, Douglas Koenig and Finley Herlache.

    Friends may call at Proko-Wall Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday Sept. 3rd. There will be a rosary service at 8 p.m. Thursday. Friends may also call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4th at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5996 County Road K, Champion.     DAROLD EUGENE JANSEN

    Memorial services for Darold Eugene Jansen, 85 of Dolores, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, June 1 at the Dolores Community Center.

    Darold was born in Lena, Wisc. on April 28, 1930 to Gilbert and Lucille (Adams) Jansen. He passed away at his Dolores home on Thursday, May 7, 2015.

    On July 25, 1978 Darold married Janice Slayton in Dolores. A very active man, Darold loved fishing, fly fishing and hiking, as well as busying his hands with gardening and carpentry. He was an excellent bowler, having posted a nearly perfect score of 299. Darold was determined and hardworking, and found himself successful in most anything he attempted.

    Surviving Darold are his wife of 36 years, Janice Jansen, of Dolores; his children, David Jansen and wife, Paula of Salt Lake City, Utah, Dana Jansen, Chris Jansen and wife, Sandy, Preston Slayton and wife, Singne, and Jefferson Patty and wife, Karen, all of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Tanner Patty of Pagosa Springs, Colo. and Flagstaff, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and his siblings, Delano Jansen, Tulio Jansen, Linda Koenig, and Cathy Karman and husband, Bill, all of Wisconsin.

  • Note: Cynthia A. Jansen, 78, New Franken, died Sunday, April 29, 2012. She was born Dec. 23, 1933, in Thiry Daems to Wilbert and Lorraine (Wery) Boucher. Cynthia graduated from Casco High School. On Feb. 27, 1954, she married Delano Jansen at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Champion. Cynthia had been employed at Lesey Aluminum in Kewaunee and later at Green Bay Plastics. She found great enjoyment running Jansen Ceramics for over 20 years as a gifted and talented ceramic artist and travelling airbrush teacher. Cynthia also co-owned and cooked for D & J Palm Gardens with her husband. She loved her husband, children and grandchildren and caring for her pets.
    Survivors include her husband, Delano; one daughter and son-in-law, Gwen and Steve Deterville; three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Kathy Jansen, James and Cindy Jansen, Jeffrey and Patty Jansen; eight grandchildren, Jill (Dan) Beadle, Dave Deterville, Lynn (Nate) Malcore, Jennifer (Jerry) Tennant, Christopher (Katie) Jansen, Jessica Jansen, Cassandra Jansen, Alexander Jansen; sixteen great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Sandy Boucher; one sister and brother-in-law, Yvonne and Finley Herlache; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Darold and Janice Jansen, Tulio Jansen, Linda Koenig, Cathy and William "Bill" Karmen; nieces and nephews; and an "adopted" daughter, Ruth (Ken) Deterville.
