  • Note: Mary Jo Kessler, Kimberly, age 46. On November 9, 2011 the angels wrapped their wings around Mary Jo and took her home to Jesus. She was born July 24, 1965 in Kaukauna to Peter and Carol (Berghuis) Kessler. Mary Jo was a resident of Cloverdale Group Home and worked at Valley Packaging. She lived a simple life of love for people, puppies and all things John Deere.

    Mary Jo is survived by her parents, Peter and Carol; siblings: Anthony "Tony" (Sherri) of Kimberly and Lu Anne (Bob) Janssen of De Pere; nieces and nephews: Melissa (Chris) Wells, Stephanie and Anthony Kessler, Kayla and Kyle Janssen; great nieces: Chloe and Addison Wells; and numerous aunts and uncles.

    A celebration of Mary Jo's life will be held Friday November 11, 2011 (TODAY) at ST. THOMAS MORE PARISH (1810 N. McDonald St. Appleton) at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Committal Holy Name Cemetery. For on-line condolences please visit www.oconnellfh.com.

  • Death: He died on November 9, 2011, at age 76, in Wrightstown, Brown Co, Wisconsin.
  • Note: Kenneth A. Kussow, 76, Wrightstown, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2011. Ken was born Nov. 30, 1934, in Brown County, son of the late Willard and Irene (Brandt) Kussow and Sophie (Rohloff ) Kussow. Following graduation from West De Pere High School, he served his country in the United States Army. He farmed on the family farm his entire life. Ken married Carol Malcore on June 2, 1962, in Wrightstown.

    He was an active member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Wrightstown, holding several positions in the church.

    Ken enjoyed traveling and RV'ing, having traveled to 49 states as well as Canada. He also enjoyed playing cards, especially sheepshead and cribbage, photography, flying model airplanes, and boating.

    He will be deeply missed by his wife, Carol; five daughters, Marie (James) Allard, and their children, Heather and Samantha; Arlene (Perry) Dietzler; Kathy (Scott) Hendricks, and their son, Justin; Laura (Tim) Krzewina; and Kim (Tim) Huck, and their four children and great-grandson, Alex (Brittany) Gilson, and Cassandra Kussow, Alexis Huck; Kayla (Andrew) Fifield and their son, Kolby; brothers and sisters, Virginia Ehnerd, Norbert (Betty) Kussow, Bonnie Chambers, Kathy (Jim) Martin; sister-in-law, Jean Kussow; brother-in-law, Ronald Malcore; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    Ken was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Roger Kussow; a brother-in-law, Glenn Ehnerd; and father and mother-in-law, Elmer and Ethel

    Malcore.

    Family and friends may call Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, Wrightstown. Funeral service will be held 12 p.m. Monday at church, with the Pastor Matthew Vik officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
