  • Note: Thomas J. Haese, age 66, of 18199 Horse Rd., Mishicot, died unexpectedly, surrounded by his family, on Monday afternoon, September 28, 2015, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.

    Tom was born on March 7, 1949, in Two Rivers, a son of the late Franklin and Lovila (Kempen) Haese. He attended Mishicot Public Schools, graduating from Mishicot High School with the Class of 1967. Tom served in the U.S. Air Force from 1968 until 1972. On November 12, 1977, he married Sandra Samz at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. In his early years, Tom started working as a semi-truck driver with Richter Vinegar, Brillion Iron Works and Kimberly Clark. Tom and Sandy then owned and operated Green Acres Lawn & Garden Center with his brother, Dick, for many years. During those years, Tom enjoyed the many relationships he had with the customers he helped with landscaping and gardening projects. He was most recently employed as a truck driver with Wisconsin Nationwide Transportation. He was involved with the Mishicot Volunteer Fire Dept. and Ambulance for over forty years. Tom enjoyed his many hunting adventures with his buddies to many different locations.

    Survivors include his wife: Sandy Haese, Mishicot; three sons and daughters-in-law: Bob and Carolyn Haese, Combined Locks, Andy and Jennifer Haese, Oshkosh and Kevin and Michelle Haese, Manitowoc; and three grandchildren: Collin and Kyle Haese and Aiden Haese. He is further survived by a brother and three sisters-in-law: Bill and Casey Haese, Green Bay, Kari Kortens, Weyauwega, and Gwen Haese, Mishicot; three sisters and two brothers-in-law: Barb and Dick Eis, Kaukauna, Peggy and Bob Walkner, Two Rivers and Pat Theyerl, Green Bay; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Bernard and Shirley Samz, Mishicot; his brother and sister-in-laws: Julie (Mike) Ryan, Bob (Karen) Samz, Ellie (Rick) Meyer, Bernie (Debbie) Samz and Dan Samz and Verla Franz; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers: Paul Haese and Dick Haese and a brother-in-law: Dennis Theyerl.

    Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2015, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Rd., Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Tom Reynebeau, with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mishicot. Military Honors will be accorded by members of V.F.W. Post #7753 of Mishicot.

    The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church on Friday evening, October 2, 2015, from 4 until 8 p.m. A prayer service, led by Rev. Tom Reynebeau, will be held at 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday morning at the church from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

    Don graduated from Seymour High School in 1960. On April 4, 1964 he was united in marriage to Judith Platten.

    He worked briefly at Green Bay Food and later began his 32 year career at Ft. Howard before retiring in 1998.

    Don enjoyed Brewer and Packers games. He was quick with jokes and his sense of humor was well known. More than anything else, Don loved his entire family.

    Survivors include his wife, Judy; sons: Glen (Wendy) Schmit, Seymour; Paul Schmit, Abrams; Dan (Lisa) Schmit, Seymour; Dennis (Renee) Schmit, Ashwaubenon; grandchildren: Courtney, Tyler, Michael, Chelsea, Alissa, Christy, Nick, Stephen, Carley, Hannah, Jared, Adam, and Bryan; great-grandchildren: Landon, Lydia, and Ava. Further survived by sisters-in-law: Jenny (Chris) Anschutz, and Diane (Terry) Bunkelman.

    He was preceded in death by his sister, Joanne (Edwin) Court; father-in-law and mother-in-law; Roman and Leona Platten; and sister-in-law, Mary Platten;

    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 3:00 pm until the funeral service at 7:00 pm with Deacon Rich Matuszak officiating. Burial will take place in St. Sebastian Cemetery.

Ed married Linda Case on June 27, 1986. He was employed with the Lake Geneva Water and Light Commission, Ashwaubenon Water District and Fox River Heights Sanitary District.

    Ed is survived by his wife, Linda, children: Susan (Tom) Renier, Ginny (Steve) Reinke, Steve Lemmen, Linda Lemmen and Wesley (Laura) Lemmen; step-children: Brenda (Tom) Vento and Scott (Gretchen) Wolfer; grandchildren: Melanie (Curtis) Ferrier, Eric (Debbie) Renier, Ryan Vento, Cole Vento, Kyle Wolfer, Mia Wolfer, Josh Kadletz and Clyde Hutson; 2 great-granddaughters: Elizabeth and Abigail Renier; sister Clara Petasek and step-sister Marge Mommaerts; in-laws: Donna Lemmen, John Brennan and Dick Russell. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

    In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his brothers: Albert Lemmen, John Lemmen and Peter Lemmen; sisters: Mary Barth, Dorothy Albers and Marge Brennan; brothers-in-law Jerome Blondheim, Carl Albers, Norbert Petasek and Don Mommaerts; as well as a sister-in-law Delores Lemmen.

    Family and friends may visit at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Avenue, De Pere, on Saturday, March 5, from 10:00am until the time of service at 12:00pm with Rev. Luke Farwell officiating.
