Wayne was born to Raymond and Rita (Nooyen) Clark in Green Bay on April 12, 1961. On May 15, 1982, he married the love of his life, Mary Walske. Together they had twins; Zachary James and Elizabeth Jane.

Through hard work, determination and a few good mentors he was able to be a partner in several other convenience stores and other business ventures. Wayne was well respected in the business community and he would often tell people that everything he did, he did for his family and their future.

Throughout his life, Wayne had many interests including; camping, hunting, trapshooting, riding motorcycles, traveling, fine dining, and vacationing in Florida.

The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Nancy Davis and the staff of the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center, Humana's SIU Department, Encompass Early Education and Care, and Wayne's friends and family for the care and support they provided.

Wayne sincerely appreciated all of the concern and prayers offered throughout this journey and the Holy Oil anointing he received almost daily from his mother-in-law, Beanie.
