    Greg attended St. Patrick's Grade School and Green Bay West High School, class of 1945. He served in the U.S. Army from 1945-1947. He married Phyllis Van Laanen in Bay Settlement in 1951. Gregory attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and St. Norbert College in De Pere. He taught at Wrightstown High School from 1956-1958 and the Wisconsin State Reformatory/Green Bay Correctional Instutition from 1958-1989.

    Greg is survived by Phyllis, his wife of 66 years; 4 sons: Gregory Joseph, Peter, Michael and Andrew; 2 daughters: Margaret and Anne; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

    He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Elizabeth.

    A memorial gathering will be held at the "farm" this summer.

    Hilda M. Wallenfang

    Hilda M. Wallenfang, 81, of 1220 Cherry St., died Friday, July 26, 1991 after a short illness at a local hospital. She was bor September 5, 1909 in the Town of Scott to the late Hugh and Harriet [De Leers] Van Laanen. She married Gordon Wallenfang in 1935 and he preceded her in death August 20, 1967. She was a member of St. Willebrord parish.

    Survivors include one daughter and son in-law; Kay and Timothy Bisick; one son and daughter in-law; Keith and Mary Wallenfang, all of Green Bay; nine grandchildren; Kimberly, Kristy, and John Campbell, Dawn, Michael, Keith C. 'Christopher', Courtney, and Jamie, Kellie Wallenfang; a great granddaughter; Nikki Deschaine; a brother and sister in-law; Lawrence and Dorothy Van Laanen, Green Bay; nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in deathy by two infant children; a sister, Florence Brienen; four brothers; Joseph, Walter, Norman and Elmer Van Laanen.

    Friends may call at Schauer and Schumacher East Side Funeral Home, 3340 S. Monroe Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Parish wake service 7:30 p.m. Friends may also call after 9:30 a.m. Moneay at St. Willebrord Catholic Church. Funeral service 10:30 a.m. at the church with Rev. Kenneth De Groot O'Praem officiating. Burial in Allouez Catholic Cemetery.

    Gordon J. Wallenfang

    Gordon J. Wallenfang, 62, 1314 Cherry St., died unexpectedly Sunday afternoon in a local hospital. He was born January 17, 1905, in Green Bay and was a lifelong resident of this area. He was the owner of G.W. Electric, and was a master electrician and a member of Local 158.

    One brother Douglas preceded him in death March 9, 1967. Survivors include his wife, the former Hilda Van Laanen; one daughter, Mrs. Kay Pinchard, Green Bay; one son, Keith, at home; five brothers; Ralph, Oshkosh; Don, Merlin, Norbert and George, all of Green Bay; two sisters; Mrs. Gabriel Biemeret, Mrs. Tony Rosinski, both of Green Bay.

    At Schauer and Schumacher East Side Funeral Home after 7 this evening. Rosary 8 tonight and Tuesday. Funeral 9 a.m. Wednesday, St. Willebrord Church. Burial in Allouez Cemetery.
