    He is survived by his mother, Betty Culligan; wife, Michele; and daughter, Bailey E. Culligan; brothers, Robert (Judy) Culligan, Jr. and Bruce Culligan, both of Appleton; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John (Dallaise) Peters; brothers-in-law, Michael (Susan) Peters and Rick (Rita) Peters, both of Appleton; and by lots of loving uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and the most loving group of friends.

    He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Culligan, Sr.; and his brother, Brad Culligan.

    A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011, at 4 p.m. at Valley Funeral Home. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m.

    A memorial fund is being established in his name.

    The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the staff who gave Willie the most loving care at UW-Madison Hospital, to the cardiac doctors and staffs of Appleton Medical Center and St. Elizabeth Hospital, and also to Manor Care for your courageous ability to be the only nursing home to step up for a challenge so our precious Willie could come back home.

  • Death: Velora Gertrude Holl died on September 16, 2010, at age 93, in Green Bay, Brown Co, Wisconsin.
  • Note: Velora Gertrude (Holl) Bohm, 93, Green Bay, passed on, at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center, on Sept. 16, 2010. Born on Sept. 22, 1916, in Suring, Wis., she was the youngest daughter of the late Emma (Rusch) and Jacob Holl Jr. Velora attended a one-room school house in Suring, and had nurses assistant training. She utilized that training at St. Vincent's Hospital, Green Bay.

    On June 19, 1937, she married her loving husband, Harry G. Bohm. Velora is survived by her daughter Pamela (Bohm) Spangenberg, who she loved very much; and her son-in-law, Richard Spangenberg.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, in 1999; and by seven brothers, Jacob, Bernard, George, Edward, Fred, Clarence, and Harold; and by five sisters: Marie Roubal, Barbara Cole, Christina Holl, Adeline Sylvester, and Caroline Gretz.
    Upon Velora's request, the visitation and funeral will be at Nicolet Memorial Gardens, 2770 Bay Settlement Rd, Green Bay. Visitation for family and friends will be from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., on Monday, Sept. 20. A funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. Interment will immediately follow the funeral service. The Rev. He was born in Green Bay on Feb. 21, 1930 to the late Bernard L. and Alice (Thyrion) Williams. He served in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. Bernie married Darlene Fugate in Green Bay. He was

    a loyal worker at Atlas Warehouse & Cold Storage for 44 years and retired in Feb. 1992. Bernie was a member of Bay City Baptist Church. He was a kind and generous man, dedicated father and a good husband. Bernie will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.

    Survivors include his children, Joan (Gary) Naze; Randy (Ginni) Williams; Dan (Roxanne) Williams; Caralyn (Bob) Touchinski; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; his wife, Darlene; her children, Hope (Rob) Hangen; Kevin (Kathy) Fugate; Mike (Kristin) Fugate; numerous grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; sister, Patricia Dudley; brother, Dale (Nancy) Williams; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Williams.

    Bernie was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Audrey; brother, Charles; first wife, Beatrice Vandenberg on Sept. 21, 1987.

  • Note: Robert "Bob" E. Van Den Berg, 42, Oshkosh, passed away in Madison, WI on Saturday, November 5, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born February 24, 1969 in San Pedro, CA, a son of Richard and Sherryl (Moore) Van Den Berg. On September 9, 1989 he married the former Lori Vanden Heuvel.

    Bob was a Sargent at the Oshkosh Correctional facility. He loved driving school bus for the Northeast Wisconsin area. He enjoyed spending time playing Fr. Christmas with Lori throughout Northeast Wisconsin for over ten years. Bob also enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, kickball, his motorcycle club GWRRA Chapter C, and finishing the Tail of the Dragon. But most of all Bob loved his time spent with his family and friends.

    Bob is survived by his wife Lori, son Terry Van Den Berg; daughter Ashley Van Den Berg; parents Richard and Sherryl (Moore) Van Den Berg; siblings: Curtis Van Den Berg and Kristal (Denae) Van Den Berg. He is further survived by his grandparents Arwin (Doris) Lindsay; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and numerous friends.

    Bob was preceded in death by his grandparents Norbert (Jeanette) Van Den Berg, aunts, and uncles.

    Visitation for Bob will be on Friday, November 11, 2011 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 305 N. Tenth St., De Pere from 10 AM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will begin at 7 PM.
