  • Note: Florence G. "Flossie" Wauters, 86, longtime resident of Green Bay, died Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, at a local nursing home. She was born Dec. 5, 1925, in Green Bay, to Elmer and Genevieve (Marchant) Kreuser. Flossie graduated from Annunciation Grade School and West High School. On Nov. 30, 1946, she married Alfred "Buzz" Wauters at Annunciation Catholic Church. Flossie had been employed at the West Side Clinic and later worked at Canadeo Exterminators. She loved to travel to Florida and Alabama with Buzz, her loving husband. Her life was centered around her family and her friends.

    Survivors include five children and their spouses, Linda and Gary Chriske, Sobieski; Sherry and Thomas Greenwood, Green Bay; Mary Wauters and her fiance, Bill Lemke, Sturgeon Bay; John Wauters, Green Bay; Michele Morgan and her special friend, Casey Maloney, Green Bay; 10 grandchildren, Lisa (Mike) Vander Meulen, Melissa (Kevin) Debauche, Brad (Becky) Chriske, Jessica Chriske, Matthew (Abigail) Klarner, Jeremy (Amanda) Klarner, Kimberly Klarner (Kyle Dembowiak), Adam Sarkis, Casey Morgan, Nina Morgan (Kellin Hepper); nine great-grandchildren, Josh, Justin, Kayla, Kyle, Jarek, Brady, Beau, Samantha, Benjamin; a sister, Mary Mommaerts; a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Pat Kreuser; a brother-in-law and his wife, Roger and Elaine Wauters; many nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred "Buzz" Wauters in 2003; a son-in-law, Mark Klarner; and a sister, Lenore Milinski.

    Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29. The Funeral Service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, at the funeral home with Sr. Toni Jendrasiak SSND officiating. Burial will be in Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
