    Arthur Meyer 64 of 1517 Wisconsin Ave., New Holstein, died at 5:20 pm Thursday at Calumet Memorial Hospital in Chilton. He had been hospitalized for one week.
    A native of St. Anna, he was born Februry 25, 1896, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Meyer, attended St. Ann School, and had lived in New Holstein for the past 25 years.
    He married Rose Brenner, October 7, 1924 at Mt. Calvary. For the past 20 years, he had been employed at the M. B. Corp., in New Holstein. A member of the Holy Name Society of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein, he also belonged to the American legion Post No. 124. He was a veteran of World War I.
    Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. James (Antonia) Ludwig of rural Chilton, Miss Lillian Meyer at home; five grandchildren, and two brothers, Osar of St. Anna, Edward of Sheboygan. One brother preceeded him in death. Burial will be at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church cemetery.

Rose Brenner

    Irvin G Meyer 55, of 2411 Vliet St., Milwaukee, former resident of St. Anna, died at his home in Milwaukee Saturday. He was born April 7, 1904 near St. Anna in the Town of Russell, the son of the late Christian and Mary Ranz Meyer. He attended the St. Ann School and later attended the Barbers College in Milwaukee. For the past 20 years he operated his own barbershop at 2403 Vliet St., Milwaukee.
    He is survived by three brothers, Arthur of New Holstein, Oscar of St. Anna and Edward of Sheboygan.
    Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home in Kiel. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery.

    Rev. J. H. Schmitt. Miss Leona Abler, twin sister of the bride was maid of honor. Irvin Meyer brother of the
    groom was best man. A reception and dinner for immediate families was held at the home of the grooms
    brother, Oscar Meyer, St. Ann. In the evening a dance was held at Ausios hall. Mr. and Mrs. Meyer are
    residing with the grooms parents. Among the guests were Mr. and Mrs. John Lefeber, St. Cloud; Mr. and Mrs.

  • Note: Mrs. Hildegard m. Nett, 85, a former Town of Schleswig resident, died Sunday at St. Nicholas Hospital, where she had been a patient the past week. Prior to hospitalization she was a resident of Willowdale Nursing Home, New Holstein.

    The former Hildegard Seichter, she was born Oct. 13, 1898, in Charlesburg a daughter of the late John and Anna Wettstein Seichter. She attended St. Charles Catholic School, Charlesburg. On Sept, 28, 1920 she and Hubert Nett were married at St. Charles Catholic Church, Charlesburg. The couple farmed in the town of Schleswig until retiring in 1970. Mr. Nett died April 25, 1980. Mrs. Nett was a member of the Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel, its Christian Mothers Society, the Apostolate of Suffering, the Kiel VFW Auxiliary, the Kiel Historical Society and the Kiel Senior Citizens.

    Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. James (Joyce) Lettenberger of Muscatine, Iowa, and Mrs. Frederick (Shirley) Klauck of Sheboygan; two sons, Marvin of Harper's Ferry, West Va., and Hubert Jr., Cedar Grove; 21 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and five sisters, Mrs. Lorena Ludwig of Chilton, Mrs. Anna Kleinhans of New Holstein, Mrs. Helen Gebhard of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Lucille Landrath of Sheboygan and Mrs. Irene Beumler of Kiel.

    She was preceded in death by one son, one grandchild, one great grandchild, three brothers and two sisters.

    A funeral Mass will be at St. Peter and Paul Church with the Rev. Francis Kerscher, pastor, celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

    He was born November 3, 1898 in Charlesburg, a son of Peter and Margaret Schwertzler Nett. He attended catholic school at Marytown.
    He married Hildegard Schleichter of Charlesburg, September 28, 1920. They farmed in the Town of Schleswig until retirement in 1970. Mr. Nett was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic church, Kiel, the Holy Name Society, the Apostulate of Suffering, Kiel Senior Citizens and the Kiel Historical Society.
    Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. James Lettenberger of Muscatine, Iowa and Mrs. Frederick Klauck of Sheboygan; two sons, Marvin of Chantilly, Virginia and Hubert, Jr. of Cedar Grove; 22 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Edwina Arnold of Kiel and Mrs. Hilda Boehnlein of Marytown.
    A funeral mass was held at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Kiel. The Reverend Francis Kerscher, pastor, was the celebrant. Burial was in the church cemetery.
