She was born on Aug. 23, 1954, in Green Bay, to Verona (Vander Velden) McNamara and the late John McNamara. Jean was a graduate of Green Bay Southwest, Class of 1972. She married David D. Roebke on March 15, 1974, at Suamico Methodist Church. While in California, Jean graduated from Riverside City College with a degree in Office Management and later became a Certified Professional Secretary (CPS). The family's last stop while in the Air Force was in Henderson, Nev., in 1988. It was here that Dave was able to retire in 1992. Jean was employed with Kerr McGee Chemical Company in Nevada from 1988 until 2003. She then worked for the Southern Nevada Water Authority. In 2007, the couple returned to the Green Bay area where Jean worked at Schreiber Foods until her health forced her to retire in August of 2009.

Jean will be remembered for her enjoyment of gardening, practicing amateur photography, attracting wildlife to her home, and her greyhounds. She was a member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP), the Arbor Association, American Center for Law and Justice. She was a proud and active member of New Life Community Church in Pulaski.

Jean is survived by her husband of 36 years, David; one daughter, Jeana Roebke, New York; one son, Scott Roebke, Las Vegas; one granddaughter, Leilani Roebke, Washington State; mother, Verona McNamara; nine siblings and spouses, Maryann Crosby, Gerald (Jean Barbara) McNamara, Sharon Gill, Elaine (Gary) DuFrane, her twin sister Joan (Lloyd) Tadisch, Don (Judy) McNamara, Donna McNamara, Ralph (Jean) McNamara, Kevin (fiancee, Mindy) McNamara; one sister-in-law, Penny Vander Heyden; mother-in-law, Pat Piaskowski; nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her dad, John McNamara; father-in-law, Mandy Roebke.

Visitation at MALCORE (West) Funeral Home, 1530 West Mason Street, Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial service 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Wied officiating.
