Austin "Eddie" Little Chute Age 71, died Thursday, November 2, 2000, at SaintElizabeth Hospital, following a courageous battle with cancer. "Eddie"was born December 24, 1928, in Bowler, Wisconsin, the daughter of thelate Herman G. and Theresa (Strelow) Fuhrman. Growing up in Bowler,she was an accomplished pianist, winning a number of musical awardsand serving as organist in her home church. Eddie graduated from theBusiness Institute in Milwaukee where she met and married David W.Austin, a Little Chute native who was attending Marquette University.Dave and Eddie were married September 25, 1948, at Saints Peter andPaul Catholic Church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. They resided all theirmarried life in Little Chute, Wisconsin, where they celebrated lifetogether for fifty-two years. Eddie was a homemaker and mother ofeleven children, one daughter and ten sons. She really enjoyed cookingand sewing. Eddie shared her sewing skills as an active member ofSaint John's Mission Club. She was ! a former member of the Saint Elizabeth Society and the American LegionAuxiliary. She and Dave enjoyed golfing and were long-time members ofFox Valley Golf Club. As retirement years approached, Dave and Eddiediscovered camping with family and friends in Northern Wisconsin.Eddie traveled to Florida for several winters, but her preference wasalways to cook and sew at home during the good old Wisconsin winters,and to be "up north" camping as soon as the weather permitted. Herlife was devoted to her family and her home was always a gatheringplace for family and friends. Eddie will be sadly missed by her husband, David; her children: onedaughter, Sue (Paul) Vanevenhoven, Mackville; a daughter-in-law, Pat(Reybrock) Austin, Freedom; seven sons, Jeff (Pat) Austin, LittleChute; Mic Austin, Greenville, and special friend Paula, CombinedLocks; Ned (Sadie) Austin, Kaukauna; Tim Austin, Little Chute, andspecial friend Ria, Rome; Paul (Nancy) Austin, Lomira; Tom (Betsy)Austin, Appleton; Jim Austin, Mackville; twenty-eight grandchildrenand two great-grandchildren. She is further survived by a brother,George (Berdie) Fuhrman, San Diego, California; a sister, Alice Jolin,Marion; two sisters-in-law, Mary Ann Austin, Fond du Lac; Jane Austin,Little Chute; numerous nieces and nephews. Eddie was preceded in deathby her parents, Herman G. and Theresa Fuhrman; a brother, ArnoldFuhrman; a sister and brother-in-law, Esther and Arly Long; asister-in-law, Marie (Hamilton) Austin; brothers-in-law, James Jolin,Frank J. Austin, and Richard J. Austin. S! he was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law and father-in-law,Frank and Clara (Lamers) Austin and by three sons, Todd, Steve and JayAustin, as well as two infant granddaughters. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2000, atSaint John Catholic Church, Little Chute, with the Rev. Msgr. JamesVanden Hogen officiating. Interment will be in Saint John Cemetery,Little Chute. Friends may call at the church from 3 p.m. Monday untilthe time of the service. A memorial for Saint John Church has beenestablished. The family would like to extend a special "thank you" to the nursesand staff of both the Radiology and Oncology departments of St.Elizabeth Hospital, and also to their precious friends and neighborswho supported them so with their prayers, help and care.

    Todd [Theodore] David Austin

    Age 47, was welcomed into the arms of his Savior on Sunday June 28, 1998 at home following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born August 21, 1950 in Little Chute, son of David and Eddie Austin. Todd married Patricia Reybrock on April 23, 1971 at St. John Catholic Church in Little Chute. He graduated from St. John High School in 1968 and was a member of the U.S. Army Reserves from 1969 to 1972. He was employed at Banner Packaging, Oshkosh, where he was a prepress coordinator. Todd was an avid outdoorsman and loved traveling, camping, hunting and fishing. He spent many wonderful weekends at the cabin with fellow members and friends of the swamp angels sportsmann club. Todd loved time with his family and cherished every moment he had with them. He was also known for his mastery of trivia and his great sense of humor.

    Todd is survived by his wife of 27 years, Pat; four daughters and a son in-law, Cindy and Adam Heindel, Sherwood, Oregon; Karen, Kelly and Heidi, at home; his parents, Little Chute; a sister and eight brothers, Sue [Paul] Vanevenhoven, Mackville; Jeff [Pat] Little Chute; Steve, Freedom; Mic [his friend Paula], Greenville; Ned [Sadie] Kaukauna; Tim [Brenda] Little Chute; Paul [Nancy], Beaver Dam; Tom [Betsey], Appleton; Jim, Kaukauna; Pat's parents, Norman and Marie Reybrock, Little Chute; and her nine brothers and sisters; Gary [Dottie] Reybrock, Little Chute; Joni [Ron] Remiker, Two Rivers; John [Carol] Reybrock, Little Chute; Paul [Vicki] Reybrock, Kaukauna; Sue [Gary] Van Hoof, Freedom; Linda [John] Kappell, Appleton; Barb [Tim] Kilgas, Kaukauna; Janet [Jim] Geiger, Kimberly; Steve [Therese] Reybrock, Little Chute; also many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friend, Bob Mitchell.

    He was preceded in death by a brother, Jay.

    The funeral mass will be held at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom on Wednesday, July 1, 1998 at 11 a.m. with Father Dennis Ryan officiating. Visitation will be at Verkuilen Funeral Home, Little Chute on Tuesday, June 30, 1998 form 4-9 p.m. and at the church Wednesday morning from 9:30- 11 a.m. A special prayer service will be at the funeral home on Tuesday 7:30 p.m.

    Paul is survived by his son: Joshua; daughter: Amanda Murray and her children, Layla and Harleigh; and Nancy (Huntley) Austin, mother of his children. He is further survived by his father, David; siblings and spouses: Sue (Paul) Vanevenhoven, Pat Austin, Jeff (Pat), Mike (Nancy), Ned (Sadie), Tim (Judy), Tom (Betty) and Jim; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    Paul was preceded in death by his infant daughter; Erin, mother; Edna; and brothers: Jay, Todd and Steve.

    Visitation will be held Friday, November 4, 2016 at O'CONNELL FUNERAL HOME (1776 E. Main St. Little Chute) beginning at 3:00 p.m. until time of Funeral at 5:00 p.m. The Rev.
