Wilpolt was born Sept. 12, 1893, in Kaukauna, where he was first employed by the Chicago and North Western railroad. He went more than 25 years ago to Wisconsin Rapids where he entered the restaurant business. He was a member of the Catholic Church.

She came to Kenosha in 1925 and was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and its Alter Society and a member of Kenosha Senior Citizens Club. Survivors are a son, Richard E. Flynn, Kenosha; two daughters, Leola Sharfinski and Rita Holm, both of Kenosha; 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, twp step- great granchildren and three step - great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband on June 25, 1978; three brothers, Harry, Alban and Norbert, two sisters, Mary Berres and Leona Faust; and theree great grandchildren.

Wilpolt, 56, Dies at Residence Died at his residence 4806 18th Ave. Kenosha this morning of a heart attack at age 56. He was born in Kaukauna, Wis. on Mar. 25 1902, son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Barney Wilpolt. He was educated in Kaukauna schools. For the past 34 years, Wilpolt had resided in Kenosha. On Aug 22, 1930, he married Miss Louise Zens at St. George Catholic Church. He was a member of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin of St. Georges Church, the Eagles and the Tavernkeeper's Association. From 1933 to 1951 he operated the Anheuser-Busch Beer Distributorship in Kenosha, and since that time had operated Wilpolt's Tavern. He was survived by his widow, Louise Zens, one brother Alban, three sisters; Mrs Leo Berres, Mrs Edward Flynn all of Kenosha and Mrs Leona Faust of Kaukauna. He was preceded in death by one brother (Harry) and his parents.

She was an avid card player, member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Ladies of Holy Cross, Ladies of the Knights of Columbus. Survived by two sons and three daughters-in-law: Harold and Helen Faust, Port Townsend, Washington; Leo and Beverly Faust, Houston, Texas; Lois Faust, Rhinelander; three daughters and sons-in-law, Michaeline and Richard Steffens, Kaukauna; Helen and Fritz Diekvoss, Rhinelander; Joan and John Mau, Kaukauna; a sister, Irene Flynn, Kenosha. Preceded in death by her husband, Michael in 1956; a daughter, Sr. Leone (Roberta); a son, Neil Faust; three brothers and a sister. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Father Jack Mullarkey officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Kaukauna.

She was born Feb. 14, 1890 in Buchanan, Wis., daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. John Powers. She received her early education in Holland Township, Wis., and came to Kenosha in 1908. On Oct. 12, 1909 she married John J. Vandenberg in Fond du Lac, and he preceded her in death on Oct 4, 1922. Mrs. Vandenberg was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She is survived by two sons, Oral H. and Howard, both of Kenosha; one brother, Edward of New York City; a sister, Mrs. Eleanor Hansen of Green Bay, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Eugene; one daughter, Miss Evelyn; three brothers and three sisters.
