    Age 47, passed away unexpectedly at 7:15 a.m. Thursday. He was born October 12, 1916 in the Town of Freedom. He was employed at the Liethen Corporation and has been a resident of Appleton for the past 18 years. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, the and the Holy Name Society.

    Mr. Diedrick is survived by his wife Mary, four sons, James, Richard, David, and Mark, all at home; one brother, Clarence, Kaukauna; two sisters, Mrs. Michael [Agnes] Lappen, Lunds, Wisconsin; Mrs. Leo [Mabel] Lappen, Appleton.

    Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. at St, Mary Catholic Church, the cortege forming at 9:30 a.m. at the Brettschneider Funeral Home. Bruial will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday. Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

    Sister Catherine Ann Weyenberg, passed into the fullness of God on January 12, 2018. She was born in Little Chute, Wisconsin February 12, 1923. She became a member of the Wheaton Franciscans on September 2,1942 and professed her final vows on May 19, 1948. She is preceded in death by her parents Hattie (Verhagen) and George G. Weyenberg, her brothers and sisters, Lester, Clarence, Betty, Julia and Mary. She is survived by her sister, Irene Hietpas.

    Sister Catherine entered the Franciscan Sisters, Daughters of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary in St. Louis Missouri in 1942. After formation, she professed temporary vows as a sister in 1945 and final vows in 1948. After fulfilling this first longing of her heart, she began preparing herself for a nursing ministry at Marquette University for a BS in Nursing. There she received a scholarship for a MS in Nursing Administration at the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington.

    Through all the different ministry assignments in nursing and hospital administration, and all the changes throughout the years, Sr. Catherine firmly believed that a nurse's commitment to the patient never changes. She was very dedicated to the patients and the associates with whom she worked with at St. Joseph's Hospital in Milwaukee, WI; St. Francis Hospital in Waterloo, IA; St. Michael's Hospital in Milwaukee, WI; St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO; and St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Appleton, WI.

    Her final years were spent at Franciscan Woods, Brookfield, Wisconsin. There she passed into the fullness of God on January 12, 2018. She will be remembered in our hearts as our faithful and dedicated sister, who lived and served others in and from the depth of her prayer, the excellence of her service, and her presence of love.

    A Memory Service will be held Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at the Our Lady of the Angels Chapel 26W171 Roosevelt Rd., Wheaton, Illinois at 4:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at the Our Lady of the Angels Chapel in Wheaton, Illinois at 10:00 a.m. funeral info 630-668-0016 or www.williams-kampp.com.

    Lester J. Weyenberg N1746 Cty Rd. CC, Kaukauna

    Age 68, passed away Friday May 26, 1995 at his home. He was born November 8, 1926 in the town of Vandenbroek. He was the son of the late George and Hattie Weyenberg. Lester was a life long member of St. Johns Catholic Church, Little Chute. He was a veteran of WWII, a member of the American Legion Post 228, Little Chute and the Catholic Order of Foresters. He was formerly employed by the Banta Corp. prior to his retirement.

    Survivors include his wife, Elaine ( Van Rooy ) Weyenberg: five sisters: Betty Schumaker, Mary Diedrick and Sr. Catherine Weyenberg, all of Appleton; Irene and Owen Hietpas, Julia Hietpas, Leesburg, Florida; a sister-in-law, Shirley Weyenberg, Kaukauna.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Clarence; and three brothers-in-law; Peter Schumaker, Woodrow Diedrick and Gerald Hietpas.

    Funeral services will be at 6 PM Tuesday from St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute with Rev. John Doerfler officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home Little Chute, from 3 PM Tuesday until time of service. The family would like to thank Linda and Terri from the Hospice Program. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established for the Hospice Program. Miltary rites will immediately follow the service at the church.

    Clarence H. Weyenberg 53, 640 Fern St. a former sheet metal forman with August Winter and Sons INC, Appleton, entered into eternal life on Tuesday July 3, 1984, he was born February 19, 1931 in the Town of Vanden Broek, Mr. Weyenberg had been a residence of this city most of his life. He had worked as a sheet metal forman for the Appleton firm, until illness forced his retirement in December, 1982. He had been employed by the company for over 23 years. A Korean War Veteran, Mr. Weyenberg was awarded the Bronze Star, and the Purple Heart. He was a member of Sheet Metals Local #18.
    Survivors includes his wife, Shirley Werschem Weyenberg; two daughters, Julie, Hortonville, and Jean, Augusta, Georga, two sons, Jay and Jeff, both at home, a brother and sister in-law, Lester and Elaine Weyenberg, Kaukauna, and five sisters and two brothers in- law, Mrs. Betty Schumacher, Mrs. Mary Diedrick, and Sr. Catherine Ann, all of Appleton, Irene and Owen Hietpas, of Leesburg. Florida, and Julia and Gerald Hietpas, Fruitland Pk. Florida.
    The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna with the Rev. David Deaudry officiating. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery, Little Chute. The Jacob Coppus American Legion Post will conduct Military Rites at the church at the conclusion of services. Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral Home, Kaukauna after 9 a.m. Friday until the cortege leaves for the church.

    THERESA HUISMAN, LITTLE CHUTE, DIES Special to Press-Gazette OCONTO, Wis - Mrs. Theresa Huisman, 63, of Little Chute, Wis., died at the Oconto Hospital at 11 o'clock Friday night. She was confined there for three weeks following a fall at the home of her sisters, Mrs. William Trepanier, Oconto. She was born at Luxemburg May 20, 1891. She came to Oconto County as a child, living on a farm until moving to Little Chute about 20 years ago. The body is at the Sheffield Funeral Home, Oconto, where friends may call after 7 o'clock this evening. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 8:30 Monday morning and in St. Peter Catholic Church at 9 o'clock. The Rev. Abner Lacque will conduct the final rites, and burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 9 o'clock Sunday evening. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Anton Ganter, Peshtigo, Rt. 1, and Mrs. Herald Noie, Little Chute; seven brothers, Casper Loberger of Carney, Mich., John of Peshtigo, Edward of Green Bay, Elmer of Milwaukee, Victor of Ingals, Mich., and Frank and Charles, Oconto; three sisters, Mrs. Edward Eckes of Green Bay, Mrs. Lince Vandernack, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Thepanier; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

    CARL KRUEGER Carl Krueger, 88, pioneer resident of Black Creek, died at 7 o'clock Friday evening at the home of his daughter, Mrs Herman Seitz, town of Black Creek, after an illness of three months. Born in Germany, Mr Krueger came to America at the age of 20 years, locating in Greenville. Six years later he moved to the town of Black Creek, where he had lived ever since. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs Christ Puls, Ellington; Mrs Herman Seitz, Black Creek; Mrs Martin Biebow, Center; nine sons, Charles, William, Louis, John, Fred and Gustave, Center; Henry, Appleton; Herman and Harry, Black Creek; forty-six grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon at the home of the deceased in Black Creek, and at 2 o'clock at St John Lutheran church in the town of Center. The Rev A H Werner will be in charge and burial will be in St Matthew cemetery at Twelve Corners. The body will be at the residence from Sunday noon until the time of the funeral.

    After the cortege forms at the funeral home at 9 o'clock Thursday, the services will be at St. Nicholas church, Freedom, where she was a member, at 9:30 with the Rev. Joseph Kools in charge. Burial is to be in the parish cemetery.
