    Barbara Jo Ebben, Rt. 2, Kaukauna, age 6, passed away Sunday the result of an automobile accident. She was born June 28, 1964 in Appleton. She was a first grade student at St. Nicholas Catholic Grade School, Freedom.

    Survivors are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William J. Ebben; one brother, Tim, at home; three sisters, Lorie, Amy, and Carrie, all at home; the grandparents, Mrs. John Ebben, Rt. 2, Kaukauna, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Sanders, Little Chute.

    Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday from St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom, with interment in the parish cemetery. The Rev. Alfred Hietpas officiating. Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Tuesday with the prayer service at 8 p.m. Tuesday evening.

    Ethel Van Der Burgt Kaukauna

    Age 62, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2000 at the Prairie Home in Menasha following a lengthy illness. She was born February 12, 1938 in Green Bay, daughter of Clement and Colette (Vanlanen) Vande Hey. On September 1, 1958, Ethel married James Van Der Burgt at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna. The couple resided in Kaukauna their entire lives. Ethel enjoyed poetry and Bible studies. She was a very social person, she loved people. Ethel was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Kaukauna.

    Survivors include her husband of 42 years; James of Kaukauna; their children; Lisa (Ken) Kelly; Pembine, Wi., Brenda Van Der Burgt and special friend Pamela Davis, Tampa, Fl., Michael Van Der Burgt and special feiend Michelle Priebe, Appleton; four grandchildren; Misty, Tristan, Taylor and Miranda Kelly; he mother; Colette (Vande Hey) Nytes, Kaukauna; a sister and brother in-law; Joanne (Dr. Antone) Grosso, Underwood, Wa.; a stepbrother and sister in-law; Ron (Mary Kay) Nytes, Kaukauna; numerous nieces and nephews. She is further survived by her husband's family; Veronica Sanders, Little Chute, Carol Van Der Burgt, JoAnn (Bill) Ebben, all of Kaukauna, Julia (Ralph) Hendricks, DePere, Rose 'Zenah' (ron) Garvey, Appleton, Bernadelle (Earl) Green, Kaukauna.

    She was preceded in death by her father Clement; Her stepfather; Herbert Nytes, a daughter; Michelle; Her father in-law; Martin Van Der Burgt and a brother in-law; Adrian Van Der Burgt.

    Funeral Services were held at 12 noon Monday, October 16, 2000 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Kaukauna with Fr. David Schmidt officiating. Burial was in St. Mary Cemetery, Kaukauna. Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna assisted the family with funeral arrangements. A memorial fund has been established in her name.

  • Birth: Ralph H Hendricks was born on January 22, 1937 in DePere, Brown Co, Wisconsin.
  • Marriage: He was married on June 30, 1963 in St John Nepomucene Church, Little Chute, Wisconsin.
  • Death: He died on December 18, 2014, at age 77.
  • Burial: He was buried in Nicolet Memorial Gardens, Green Bay, Wisconsin.
  • Note: Ralph H. Hendricks, 77, of De Pere, passed away with family by his side on the morning of December 18, 2014. The son of the late Henry and Rose (Liebergen) Hendricks was born on January 22, 1937 in De Pere. On June 29, 1963 he married the former Judy Van Der Burgt at St. John's Catholic Church in Little Chute, WI. Ralph worked for Nicolet Paper for 26 years. Additionally he worked for the City of De Pere, as well as St. Norbert College. He served in the US Army, and was proud of his service. Ralph had an appreciation for Polka Music, and enjoyed watching sports, going to family gatherings, heading out to the casino, and playing cards with friends and family.

    Ralph will be deeply missed by his wife of 51 years, Judy; his children, Steve (Valerie) Hendricks, Sandy (Wayne) Hooyman, Gary Hendricks, Mark (Andrea) Hendricks, Scott Hendricks; grandchildren, Kyle, Alicia, Matthew, Alex, Jeremy, Jared, Kadin, Jada; great-grandchild, Bentley; siblings, Rollie Hendricks, Bob (Mayme) Hendricks; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, Jerome (Elaine), Kenny (Lou); sister, Mary Kay (Tom) Washienko; sister-in-law, Arlene.

    Friends and family are encouraged to gather at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Family, corner of Lourdes Avenue and Suburban Drive, De Pere, WI on Sunday, December 21, 2014 starting at 4:00pm until 7:00pm. Visitation will continue at the church on Monday, December 22, 2014 from 9:30am until 10:30am when a Mass of Christian Burial will be held with Fr. Tim Shillcox, O. Praem., officiating.
