    Injury Fatal to Corporal
    Little Chute Soldier, Robert Ebben, Dies at Florida Army Camp
    Little Chute - Corporal Robert Ebben, 21, son of Chris Ebben, died Monday night at Camp Gordon Johnson, Fla., following an injury to a vertebra.
    The chaplain of the camp telephoned the father Monday that the youth had been injured. Mr. Ebben flew to Florida, but arrived there after his son's death. No details were available today.
    Corporal Ebben entered service Feb. 22, 1943, and received his basic training at Camp Edwards and Fort Devens, Mass. He was a 1941 graduate of St. John High school at Little Chute and had been employed at the Kimberly mill before entering the service.
    Survivors are the father; three brothers, Corporal Richard Ebben, Hawaii; Marvin and Eugene, Little Chute; five sisters, Barbara, Ione, Betty, Ida May and Rita, all at home.
    Funeral services and burial will be held at Little Chute.

Burial took place in the Catholic cemetery. Mrs. Vander Heyden is survived by her widower, and two daughters and her mother, Mrs. William Vander Wyst of this village.

    LITTLE CHUTE WOMAN DIES AT HER HOME
    Little Chute— Mrs. Leonard Vander Heyden, 23, died Friday morning after a lingering illness. She is survived by her widower, two daughters, and her mother, Mrs. William Vander Wyst, of this village. Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Monday morning at St. John church with the Rev. John J. Sprangers in charge. Burial will take place in the Catholic cemetery.

    R. F. Biesmann Dies Today
    Appleton Man Was Instrumental In Starting Ball Clubs
    Robert F. Biesmann, 58, of 4343 E. Wisconsin Road, who was instrumental in getting and keeping organized baseball in Appleton, died early today at his home.
    Biesmann had been on the board of directors of the Appleton Papermakers and later the Fox Cities Foxes since the clubs were started in the early 1940s, and worked closely with the farm directors of the major league teams with which the club was associated. He was secretary of the board of the Papermakers and assistant secretary of the Foxes' board. Biesmann was born Aug. 28, 1904 in Galena, Ill. He was an employee of the Wisconsin Telephone Co., Appleton.
    He is survived by his wife, his mother, two sisters and one brother.
    Funeral services will be at 10am Monday, with a solemn high mass at St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Verkuilen Funeral Home, Little Chute, after 2pm Sunday.

    Matthew P. Molitor, son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Molitor, Little Chute, and Miss Luella A. Sager, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Sager, Coleman, were married Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at St. John Catholic church, Coleman. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Father Terrien and the attending couple was Miss Ruth Ann Sager, Coleman, sister of the bride, and Wilbert Vandenberg, Little Chute. Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served to the immediate relatives at the Sager home and in the afternoon the couple left on a two weeks' trip to the Black Hills and Canada. Mr. and Mrs. Molitor will be at home after June 15 in Appleton. The bride, a graduate of Marquette School of Nursing, has been employed at Mount Sinai hospital, Milwaukee, and the bridegroom is employed in the research department of the Kimberly-Clark mill at Kimberly. Those from this vicinity who are attending the wedding are Mr. and Mrs. Philip Molitor and Mr. and Mrs. Peter C. Vanden Heuvel, Little Chute; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Briggs, Kimberly.
