    Mrs. Isadore Verhasselt, 42, Route 2, Kaukauna, died at her home at 1:30 this morning after a long illness. She was born Sept. 8, 1909, in the town of Kaukauna and lived there all her life.
    Survivors include her husband, parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Peter Bolssen, route 2, Kaukauna; five daughters, Mrs. Richard VanZeeland, Little Chute, Rosemary, Agnes, Dorothy and Patricia, all at home; seven sons, Leonard, James, Joseph, Robert, Carl, David and Thomas, all at home; two brothers, Herman Meulemans, Kaukauna; seven half-brothers, Emmett and Roy Bolssen, route 2, Kaukauna, Fred bolssen, route 3, Kaukauna, Arthur Bolssen, route 1, Black Creek, Harry Bolssen, Wrightstown, William Bolssen, Isaar, and George Bolssen, route 2, Kaukauna.
    Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral Home, Kaukauna, after 7 o'clock Sunday night until the time of the funeral. The rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock Sunday and Monday evening. The cortege will form at 9:30 Tuesday morning and funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning at Holy Cross Catholic church, Kaukauna, with the Rev. Andrew Quella in charge. Burial will be in the HOly Cross Cemetery.

On April 13, 1926, he married the former Colette Verhasselt at Holy Cross Church in Kaukauna; and she preceded him in death on November 22, 1972. He farmed in the Townships of Lawrence and Oneida prior to retirement in 1969. Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law: Marvin and Joyce Bougie, Louis J. Bougie, all of DePere; John and Patricia Bougie, Freedom; four daughters and two sons-in-law: Joy Bougie, Nancy Bougie, Karen and Raymond Brown, all of DePere; Donna and Edward Geurts, Mequon; 28 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; four brothers, James Bougie, Neenah; William Bougie, Oshkosh; Norbert Bougie, Florence; Francis Bougie, DePere; three sisters: Catherine Lembecke, Seymour; Isabel Baeten and Anna Treml, both of DePere. He was preceded in death by three sisters: Mary Burgoyne, Rosse Bodde, and Loretta Landwehr; and a brother, Henry. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am, Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, DePere with Rev. Gilbert Jacobs officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery Snyderville.

He was born in Freedom Dec. 8, 1896, a son of Hohn and Mary Verhasselt. He married the forme r Josephine Bries in Wrightstown in May of 1923 and they lived in Wrightstown all their marri ed lives. Mr. Verhasselt was employed in the construction business. He was a past president of the Vill age of Wrightstown and a member of the Holy Name society of St. Paul Catholic church. Survivors are three sons, Basil of California, Jack and Leo of Wrightstown; four daughters, M rs. Wayne (Mary) Thede and Mrs. Carl (Joan) Eckert of Milwaukee, Mrs. Dan (Rita) Shebil of Po rtage and Mrs. Allan (Zita) Wessa of California; 19 grandchildren and seven great grandchildr en. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1973 and by one son, three grandchildren, five sister s and one brother. Funeral services were held Monday morning at St. Paul Catholic church. The Rev. Richard Shafe r officiated and burial was in the parish cemetery with De Wane Funeral Home handling arrange ments.

Survivors are her husband; three sons. Basil of Santa Barbara, Calif.; John and Leo of Wright stown; four daughters; Mrs. Wayne (Mary) Thede and Mrs. Carl (Joan) Eckert both of Milwauke e and Mrs. Dan (Rita) Shebel of Portage; Mrs. Allen (Zita) Wessa of Los Angeles, Calif.; 2 1 grandchildren; one great grandchild. One son, Orlo, preceded her in death. Funeral services were held Monday morning in St. Paul Catholic church. The Rev. Richard Schae fer officiated and burial was in the parish cemetery with DeWane Funeral home handling arrang ements.
