    Kenneth Earl Fermanick, two year old son of Mrs. & Mrs. Victor Fermanick, Rt. 2, New London, died about 6 o'clock Wednesday morning at Neenah after a short illness. He was born February 7, 1956, in New London.

    Funeral services will be at 9:30 Friday morning at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London, with burial in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Cline and Hanson Funeral Home New London.

    Survivors, in addition to the parents include three brothers, William, Joseph and Robert, all at home; two sisters, Sally and Jane both at home; the maternal grandfather, Earl Hooyman, Rt. 2, New London, and the paternal grandmother, Mrs. Paul Fermanick Rt. 2, New London.

    Robert Paul Fermanich

    Age 17, passed away on Sunday in the Town of Maple Creek, the result of an auto accident. He was born on Joly 8, 1957 in New London and was presently a senior at the New London Senior High School.

    Survivors are his parents Mrs. and Mrs. Victor Fermanich of Rt. 2, New London; three brothers, William of New London, Joe of Appleton; and Kevin at home; six sisters, Mrs. Lyle [Sally] Jenks of Menasha; Mrs. Glen [Jane] Ruckdashel of New London; Ann, Mary Ellen, Karen, and Chrisie, all at home; his paternal gradmother, Mrs. Paul Fermanich of New London; two nieces and a nephew.

    He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth.

    Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church of New London with burial in the parish cemetery. The Rev. LeRoy Smet will officiate. Friends may call at the Cline and Hanson
    Funeral Home in New London after 3 p.m. on Tuesday and the parish prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday.

    Alex Hooyman 'Butch' W7580 Cty Rd., S. Shiocton, age 67, passed away on Friday, November 26, 1993 at Appleton following a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born on October 13, 1926 in Kaukauna, the son of Earl and Elizabeth (Rueden) Hooyman. On May 22, 1947 he was married to Mary Lou Main in Shiocton at St. Denis Catholic Church. Butch lived in Shiocton, Black Creek, and the Stephensville area until 1978 where he worked as a self-employed carpenter and mason, farmer, grocer and butcher and he was a Deputy Sheriff for Outagamie County. In 1978 he moved to Grand Marais, Michigan and continued to work as a carpenter and mason. In 1993 he returned to Stephensville because of his illness and to be close to his family.

    He is survived by his wife, Mary Lou and their eleven children; Margaret (James) Wagner, Black Creek; Deborah Steffen, Oklahoma City; Judith (Pat) Kelly, Stephensville; Elizabeth (Duane) Bann, Neenah; Mary Joan (Lance) Volkman, Black Creek; James Hooyman, Grand Marais; Monica (Zack) Earl, Black Creek; Bruce (Patty) Hooyman, Japan; Chris (Jack) Peciopa, Green Bay; Sue (Jim) Van Enkenvoort, Green Bay; Jeff Trent, Yukon, Oklahoma; 26 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; six sisters; Hildegard (Victor) Fermanich, New London; Helena (Nick) Kruzicki, Bear Creek; Betty (Roland) Kanaman, Shiocton; Clara (Leander) Petit, Kaukauna; Rose Ann (Donald) Smith, Sparks, Nevada; Theresa (Wally) Buchner, Kimberly; two brothers; Herbert (Agnes) Hooyman, Shiocton; Eugene (Audrey) Hooyman, Black Creek.

    Preceding him in death were his parents, two sons, Steven James in 1958 and Gary Lee in 1967 and a grandson, Jeffery Trent Jr. in 1977.

    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 29, 1993 at St. Denis Catholic Church, Shiocton with the Rev. Joseph L. Bestler celebrating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Borchard & Moder Funeral Home, Hortonville, on Sunday, from 4 until 8 p.m. where there will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.

  • Note: Margaret "Peggy" Wagner N7469 Spoehr Rd., Black Creek Age 51, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning at Appleton Medical Center. She was born May 6, 1948 in New London, daughter of Mary Lou (Main) Dorn and the late Alex "Butch" Hooyman. On December 28, 1967 she was united in marriage to James Wagner in Black Creek.

    Peggy graduated from Outagamie Teachers College and UW-Oshkosh. She taught for 10 years at St. Nicholas, Freedom, and several years at St. John's, Seymour. She also taught at Shiocton and was a substitute teacher for many years. In 1968 she started a small produce business that later grew into Wagner's Market at the intersection of Hwys. 54 and 47 in Black Creek. Peggy was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church, Shiocton. She was a beautiful, hard-working, fun-loving person who had the biggest heart in the world and was a friend to all. She was a wife, mother, daughter, grammy, sister, and aunt. Her memory will be cherished forever. She is survived by her husband, Jim her children: Chris (Angie) Wagner and grandson, Wyatt, Black Creek Kim (John) Kamp and grandson, Gage, Fremont Nicholas (Jessica) Wagner, Black Creek her mother, Mary Lou (Donald) Dorn, Appleton maternal grandmother, Gladys Main, Appleton sisters and brothers: Debbie (Phillip) Klotz, Oklahoma Chris (Jack) Pociopa, Green Bay Judy (Pat) Kelly, Tigerton Lisa (Duane) Bann, Neenah Sue (Jim) Van Enkenvoort, Green Bay Mary Jo (Lance) Volkman, Black Creek Jim Hooyman, Black Creek Monica Earl, Appleton Bruce (Patti) Hooyman, Michigan foster brothers: Jeff Trent, Oklahoma Richard (Grace) Schweitzer, Neenah and many other foster brothers and sisters nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her in-laws: Janell (Bill) Morehead, Minnesota Richard Wagner, Illinois Barb Wagner, Illinois Robert Wagner, Black Creek Pat (Mary) Wagner, Black Creek nieces and nephews also special friends: Marcella Mootz, Kay Vande Corput, Clarence and Jolene Krahn, and many other friends. She was preceded in death by her father, two brothers: Gary and Steve Hooyman, her father and mother-in-law, Babe and Marie Wagner. Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour from 4-8 p.m. Friday with a Prayer Service at 8 p.m. and Saturday at St. Denis Catholic Church, Shiocton, from 9:30 a.m. until services at 10:30 a.m. Burial in the parish cemetery.     Norm, and the transplant team from Madison. Peggy's generosity continues even after her passing. Through her organ donation, her loving spirit will carry on. Wilbert W. Ziesemer Neenah Age 72, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2000 at his home following a lengthy illness. The family would like to thank the Oncology Unit, Dr. Banarjee, and the Hospice in Marshfield along with Theda Care At Home Hospice, Dr. Fuller, and Pastor Richard Maurice in Neenah for all their care and support.     Gary Lee Hooyman, Rt. 3, Seymour, age 18, passed away at 10 p.m. Friday at a Green Bay Hospital following injuries received in an automobile accident. He was born April 29, 1949 in New London. He attended Seymour High School. Mr. Hooyman was married to the former Judith Jenquine. He was a member of the Junior Holy Name Society of St. Marys Church, Black Creek.

    Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Jody Lee at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alex Hooyman, Rt. 1, Black Creek; six sisters, Margaret, Deborah, Judith, Elizabeth, Mary Jo, and Monica, all at home; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Main, Shicton; his maternal great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Kaddatz, Hortonville.

    One brother preceded him in death in 1958.

    Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John Catholic Church, Seymour with Rev. Richard Schafer officiating. Interment will be in St. Dennis Catholic Cemetery, Shicton. Friends may call at the Muehl Funeral Home, Seymour after 2 p.m. Sunday. The parish rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday.
