    William Weyenberg, 1294 Winchester Road, Neenah, age 82, passed away Sunday evening about 4:30 p.m. He was born in Freedom, December 17, 1880 and was a member of the American Legion of Neenah, Hawley Dieckhoff Post 22; the Holy Name Society of St. Gabriel Church, Neenah.

    Mr. Weyenberg is survived by one brother, Peter, Kimberly. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 9 a.m. at Holy Name Catholic Church, Kimberly, with buril in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Freedom. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at the Jansen Funeral Home, Kimberly where the rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m.

    Mrs. Mary Seggelink, wife of Bernard Seggelink, of the south side died at her home on Eighth St. Wednesday morning at 4:30 o'clock. Mrs. Seggelink was operated on fifteen months ago and has been ailing ever since for the past four weeks has been confined to her bed. Deceased was born at Oeffelt, Holland, April 283, 1848. She was married Nov. 12, 1871 at Freedom to Bernard Seggelink where they lived for twenty-nine years. From there they moved to Depere where they resided five years coming to Kaukauna six years ago.
    She is survived by a husband, two sons and three daughters, nameily: Mrs. Martin Weyenberg of Menasha, Gilbert of Appleton, and Mrs. Theodore Vandenbroek and Ella of Kaukauna; also by two sisters, four brothers and seventeen grandchildren. She was a faithful member of the Altar society. She was a soman of kindly disposition and was strongly attached to her family.

    Funeral Services Were Held at St. Mary's Church Tuesday Morning
    Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic church for Mrs. Martha Vanden Broek, 615 West Seventh street, who died Saturday night, June 17, at the age of 69. She had been ill for a long time. Rev. A. ERoder officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery. The rosary was recited at Greenwood funeral home Monday night.
    Mrs. Vanden Broek was born in the town of Freedom in 1875. She was a member of the auxiliary of the American Legion and the Auxiliary of teh Veterans of Foreign Wars.
    Pall bearers were Charles Clune, Ervin Lopas and Ed Matchett of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post and Dr. Joseph Klau, Lawrence Boucher and Walter Spuecht of the American Legion post. Honorary pall bearers were Mrs. Casey, Mrs. Nic Britton, MRs. HEnningsen and MRs. Koehnig, gold star mothers.
    Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Peter Sticks of Wisconsin Rapids, Mrs. Ed Vanden Heuvel of Oneida, Mrs. Martin Verkuilen of this city and Mrs. Henner Rasmussen of Waukegan; five sons, John, Gilbert, Henry and Joseph of Kaukauna and Bernard of chicago; two brothes, Peter and Gilbert Seggelink, state of Oregon; two sisters, Mrs. William Bay of Kaukauna and Mrs. Martin Weyenberg of Menasha; 18 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

    Mrs. Martha VanDenBroek

    Age 69, 615 W. Seventh St., died at 10:30 Saturday night at her home after a long illness. She was born in the town of Freedom, February 26, 1875, and had lived in the vicinity all her life. She was a member of the auxiliary of the American Legion and the Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

    Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Peter Sticka, Wisconsin Rapids, Mrs. Ed VandenHeuvel, Oneida, Mrs. Martin Verkuilen, Kaukauna, and Mrs. Henry Rasmussen, Waukegan; five sons, John, Gilbert, Henry and Joseph, Kaukauna, and Bernard, Chicago; two brothers, Peter and Gilbert Segglink, state of Oregon; two sisters, Mrs. William Bay, Kaukauna, and Mrs. Martin Weyenberg, Menasha; 18 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

    The body may be viewed at the Greenwood funeral home. The funeral cortege will form at 8:30 Tuesday morning at the funeral home and services will be held at 9 o'clock at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Alphone Roder, pastor in charge. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. The rosary will be recited at the funeral home at 8 o'clock tonight.

    Martin died July 14, 1935 in Menasha. The marriage between Martin and Bernadine was very special, because they connected two family-branches together. Martin and Bernadine both had the same great grandfather. Martin was the son of Henry W. and( Annie Esler), who was the son on Hubertus W. ( Petronella Willems), who was the son of Hendrickus W. and his first wife Anna Aldenhuyzen.

    Bernadine was the daughter of Mary Wilhelmina W. (Bernard Seggeling), who was the daughter of Martin Sr. W. (Petronella 'Nellie' Ebben) who was the son of Hendrickus W. and his second wife Johanna Linders.

    He passed away at the home of his father Hub, Thursday evening. The cause of death was dropsy. The funeral was held Sunday morning at 8 o'clock from St. Mary's Church. He was born 60 years ago in Holland and came to this country in 1853. For a number of years he lived on a farm near Wrightstown.

    He is survived by eight sons and one daughter, his aged father and three brothers, William Weyenberg of Chippewa Falls, Peter Weyenberg of Washington, and Martin Weyenberg Weyenberg of Appleton, and three sisters, Mrs. Egbertus (Petronella) Verstegen of this city, Mrs. H. Nabbefeldt of Chippewa Falls, and Mrs. J. Williamson on Wrightstown.

    Hubert Weyenberg, one of our oldest citizens, died Sunday afternoon at his home on South Superior street, after a couple weeks illness. Mr. Weyenberg wa born in Holland 92 years ago and came to this country in 1853, settling in Outagamie county where he resided until 16 years ago when he moved to De Pere. Up to his liast illness he had been very rugged for one of his years.

    His wife died 15 years ago and he leaves three sons and three daughters: Martin Weyenberg of Appleton, Petronella (Mrs. E. Verstegen) of this city, William and Mary (Mrs H. Nabbefeld) of Chippewa Falls, Carolina (Mrs. J. Willems) of Wrightstown and Peter of Idaho: he is also survived by 49 grand-children and 12 great-grandchildren, besides one stepbrother and two stepsisters: R. Weyenberg of De Pere, Mrs. J. Coenen of Foley, Alabama, and Marie Weyenberg of Antwerp, Belgium.

    The funeral was held from Saint Mary's church Wednesday forenoon and was largely attended by mourning relatives and friends. Interment was at Mount Olive.

She had been a resident of this city but a short time, removing to this place from Appleton. She leaves a husband and eight children, the latter residing in various parts of the stae. The funeral took place Wednesday from St. Mary's Catholic church.

    Sunday evening Petronella Willemsen died in DePere. She was the spouse opf Hubertus Weyenberg. The deceased was born in Wanrooi, province North Brabant, Netherlands on June 22, 1825, she was 67 years and 3 months old. She was married 46 years and lived in America for 40 years, 20 in Appleton. She left a spouse and 8 children. The children are; Henry (of Wrightstown), Martin (of Appleton), Mrs. Egbert (Petronella) Verstegen (of DePere), Mrs. Henry (Maria) Nabbeveld (of Appleton), Willem (of Chippewa Falls), Alexis, leader of the Fathers Servieten in Chicago, Peter (in Minneapolis) and Mrs. John (Carolina) Willemsen of Freedom. Burial was Wednesday.

    Body Taken to Shawano Chapel
    Falling Tree Brought Death According to Meagre Information Given in Message -- Body Expected to Arrive Here Wednesday Noon.
    Caught beneath the weight of a falling tree, Raymond Weyenberg, aged twenty-five year, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Weyengerg, 732 First street, was crushed to death in a lumber camp at Neopit, Wisconsin, Monday, according to a message received by the unfortunate young man's parents late yesterday.
    Very little information other than that given above was contained in the telegram.
    Mr. Weyenberg spent Christmas at the home of his parents in this city and since that time had been employed in Camp 16, at Neopit, a sma.l village on the Indian reservation about fifteen miles north of Shawano. Death is believed to have resulted instantly.
    The body was removed to an undertaking parlor at Shawano and will be shipped from that city at 8 o'clock Wednesday morning, arriving here at noon, if train service is restored by that time.
    Raymond Weyenberg was born in the town of Little Chute, Nov. 8, 1898, but moved to this city with his parents a few years later. He was a member of Winnebago camp of Modern Woodman of this city.
    Surviving are his parent, three sisters, Mrs. Frank Poplinsky and Miss Betty Weyenberg of this city and Mrs. C. J. Quinn, of Neenah; and one brother, Eugene Weyenberg of Menasha.
    Funeral services will probably be held from St. patrick's church Friday morning at 9 o'clock, although this has not been definitely determined.
