    Age 90, formerly of De Pere and Green Bay, died Wednesday, February 27, 2002 at a local nursing home. Marcie was born December 2, 1911 in Appleton to the late Gustave and Kathryn (McDaniel) Seeger. Survivors include her brothers and sisters: Edward G. and Joan Seeger, Falls Church, Virginia; Florence E. and Donald C. Smith, High Cliff; Alice K. Seidel, Sherwood; George P. and Helen Seeger, Appleton; nieces and nephews also survive.

    Marcie was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph in 1982 and her brother-in-law, Tony Seidel. Friends may call at the Ryan Funeral Home, 305 N. Tenth Street, De Pere on Saturday March 2, 2002 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Funeral service will be 12 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Conrad Kratz officiating. Burial in the Mt. Howard is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Betty Jean (nee Malliet); sons Jim, Perry and Dave Kieffer; sisters Betty Nigl, Delores Wheaton, and Judy LaRue; and brother Austin Wheaton. Proud grandfather of Sonia (Guy) Schmitt, Kristan (Dave) Black, Ben (Stephanie) Kieffer, Brittney (Matt) Eveningred, Linsey Kieffer, Gabbie Kieffer, Ashley (Bryan) Beres, Melissa (Jason) Doss, and Dan Kieffer. He is further survived by 14 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends and former coworkers. Howard has been reunited in Heaven with his parents, Loretta and Clarence; daughter Jean "Ginger" Schmitt; son Chris Kieffer; sister Ila Kieffer; brothers Clayton and Clyde Kieffer; sister-in-law, Pat (Gordie) Brockman; and many other loved ones. Howard proudly served in the US Army in Korea and was a 38-year employee of Giddings & Lewis in Kaukauna, WI and Menominee, MI.

    The Memorial Service for Howard will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at ST. PAUL HOME CHAPEL, 316 E. 14th Street, Kaukauna, with Fr. Willard Van De Loo officiating. There will be a visitation at the St. Paul Home Chapel on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services.     He was born in Freedom, WI, on August 23, 1927, the son of the late Clarence and Loretta (Hoks) Kieffer. On November 17, 1951, he married Jeanne Ann Kools in Menasha, WI. Clyde and Jeanne just celebrated their 59th Anniversary.

    Clyde retired from Wisconsin Natural Gas (WE Energies). He loved fishing and playing cribbage with his wife, kids, and grandchildren. Clyde loved to share his sense of humor and to make others laugh. Clyde is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jeanne Ann Kieffer; children: Tom (Elle) Kieffer of St. Paul, MN; Dan (Whitney) Kieffer of Minneapolis; MN, Bill Kieffer of Appleton, WI; John (Colette) Kieffer of Appleton, WI; and Joe Kieffer of Appleton, WI; 10 grandchildren, three great grandchildren; brothers and sisters: Ila Kieffer of Tuscon, AZ; Elizabeth (Marc) Nigl of Kaukauna, WI; Howard.

    (Betty Jean) Kieffer of Marinette; Dolores Kieffer of Nashville, half brother, Austin (Mary) Wheaton of Larson; and half-sister, Judy (Ken) LaRue of Weyauwega; and Goddaughter Jean (Joe) Sell and her extended family: and many relatives and good friends. His twin brother Clayton preceded Clyde in death.The memorial service will be at 11:00 am on Wednesday November 24, 2010, at Christ The Rock Community Church, Menasha WI, Hwy 10 -114.     Clayton H. "Clay" Kieffer, Appleton, age 81, passed away at Colony Oaks in Appleton on Monday, July 13, 2009. He was born in Kaukauna on August 23, 1927, the son of the late Clarence and Loretta (Hoks) Kieffer. On February 3, 1983, he married Ila Mae Burt in Kimberly. Clay worked at American Can for over 30 years. He loved the Green Bay Packers, hunting, fishing and golf. He will be remembered for his jokes and sense of humor.

    Clayton is survived by his wife of 26 years, Ila Mae Kieffer; children: Kathleen (Jim) Wisnefski of Oconomowoc, Karen Holden of Waukesha and Michael (Pam) Kieffer of Lake City, MN; grandchildren: Michael Wisnefski stationed in Beaufort, S.C., for the U.S. Navy, Sarah Wisnefski of Oconomowoc, Amy Kieffer of Thornton, CO; Kristine Kieffer of Thornton, CO; and Anthony Kieffer of Lake City, MN; brothers and sisters: Ila Kieffer of Tuscon, AZ; twin brother, Clyde (Jeanne) Kieffer of Appleton, Dolores Kieffer of Nashville, Howard (Betty Jean) Kieffer of Marinette, Elizabeth (Marc) Nigl of Kaukauna; half-brother, Austin (Mary) Wheaton of Larson; and half-sister, Judy (Ken) LaRue of Weyauwega; and stepchildren: Joyce (Larry) Castrop of Larsen, Donald (Helen) Jansen of Appleton, David (Diane) Jansen of Appleton, Roger (Kristine) Jansen of Greenleaf, and Larry (Christine) Schiltz of Neenah; and many relatives and good friends.

    The memorial service will be at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 16, 2009, at the Wichmann Funeral Home, TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL, with Mr. Michael Kieffer officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 3:30 p.m. until the time of the service.

    George H. Kieffer

    George H. Kieffer, 66, 618 N. Clay, De Pere, died unexpectedly Tuesday on a fishing trip. He was born October 9, 1905 in the Town of Freedom to the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kieffer and had resided in De Pere for the past 35 years. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the St. Francis Holy Name Society. Mr. Kieffer and the former Kathryn Rademacher were married October 9, 1940, at St. Joseph Church, De Pere.

    Survivors include his wife; Two brothers; Joseph, Green Bay; Lawrence, Appleton. Mr. Kieffer was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and two brothers.

    At Cotter Funeral Home 869 N. Webster, De Pere, after 2 p.m. Thusday. Prayer service 8 p.m. Thursday. Funeral 10 a.m. Friday at St. Norbert Chapel with the Rev. Micholas Johannes officiating. Burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery.

    Jahn (Rademacher) (Kieffer), Kathryn M. "Kay"
    Kathryn "Kay" M. (Rademacher) (Kieffer) Jahn, 88, of De Pere, died Sunday, March 1, 2009, at a local nursing home. Kay was born August 27, 1920, in Green Bay, a daughter of Edward and Anna (La Luzerne) Rademacher. She graduated from Nicolet High School and completed Business Courses after graduation. On October 9, 1940, she married George Kieffer at St. Joseph Catholic Church, De Pere. George preceded her in death on May 16, 1972. Then in 1986, Kay married Donald Jahn at Holy Cross Church in Bay Settlement. He preceded her in death in 1993.
    Kay retired from Rural Mutual Insurance Company. She was in the Altar Rosary Society at St. Francis Xavier Church, De Pere, and Catholic Order of Foresters; she also enjoyed traveling, her friends at Nicolet Highlands, and visits from people, especially children.
    Kay is survived by her stepchildren: Lela (Don) Bayer, Marilee Jahn, Brian (Amy) Jahn, and Jeffrey Jahn; step-grandchildren: Alan, Tyler, Jessica, and Melissa Jahn; four step-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sisters Bette Hermsen and Margaret Smits; brother Edward (Toni) Rademacher, and numerous nieces and nephews.
    Kay was preceded in death by her parents; and her two husbands, George Kieffer and Donald Jahn.
    Visitation for Kay will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at St. Francis Xavier Church, De Pere from 8:45 a.m. until time of Mass.     Age 61, passed away Tuesday afternoon after a short illness. He was born June 13, 1908 in the Town of Kaukauna where he farmed until 1962 at which time he moved into Freedom. He was a member of the Kaukauna Town Board for 11 years and was employed at the Freedom Elementary School from 1965 unyil 1969. He was a member of the St. Nicholas Holy Name Society and the Kaukauna Knights of Colombus Counsel no 1033.

    Survivors include his wife, Regina; one daughter, Mrs. Lewis [Norma Jean] Fuhrman, Rt. 3, Kaukauna; one son, Ronald N. Kieffer, Milwaukee; three brothers, Joseph, Green Bay; George, De Pere; Lawrence, Appleton; and seven grandchildren.

    Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Rev. Alfred Hietpas will officiate. Friends may call at the Greenwood Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Thursday. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Holy Name and K of C Rosary at 8 p.m. Thursday.

    Age 80, Wednesday, October 4, 1989 at home. She was born January 30, 1909 in Wrightstown, the daughter of the late Edward and Barbara [Buechel] Meulemans. She was raised in Wrightstown and had lived in Freedom from 1933 until 1986, when she moved to Kaukauna. She started the Freedom Forever 4-H Club and Silver Star Homemakers. She had been past treasurer of the Christian Mother's and head of the Clipper Club at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom, and a member of the Third Order of St. Francis. She also had been employed at Geenen's General Store in Freedom.

    She is survived by a son and a daughter in-law; Ronald and Barbara Kieffer, Menominee Falls; a daughter and son in-law; Norma Jean and Luis Furhman, Kaukauna; six grandchildren; David, Don, Bob and John Furhman; Connie and Gretchen Kieffer; four great grandchildren; two brothers; Emil [Marie] Meulemans, Reedsville; Norbert [Ceil] Meulemans, Wrightstown; four sisters; Marguerite Frahm; Evelyn [John] Blick, both of Appleton; Edna [Henry] Spierings, Lorraine [William] Green, both of Freedom.

    She was preceded in death by her husbane, Martin, in 1971; two grandsons; and two sisters; Mildred Arnoldussen and Mamie Leidel. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 7, 1989 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Freedom, with Fr. Leander Nickel officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral Home, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave., Kaukauna, from 4 until 9 p.m. Friday, and after 8:30 a.m. Saturday until the cortege leaves for the church. There will be a parish prayer service at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established in her name.
