    Mrs. Jerome Heindel, nee Agnes C. Ebben of 300 Bicentennial Ct. Kaukauna, age 77, died Tuesday June 22, 1993, Appleton Medical Center following a brief illness. She was born March 29, 1916, in Freedom, the daughter of the late Jacob and Petronella (West) Ebben. Agnes enjoyed knitting, crochciing, card playing and painting. She also enjoyed traveling and received much joy from her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church.

    Agnes is survived by one son and daughter in-law, Dr. Jerrold and Mary (Lewandowski) Heindel of Raleigh, N.C.; three daughters and sons in-law, Nancy and Dannie Angell of Kaukauna, Shirley and Joseph DeBrue of Appleton, and Judy and Wayne Hartjes of Kaukauna; eleven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters in-law, Florence Ebben and Sally Ebben of Appleton; one sister, Josephing Feavel of Appleton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

    She was preceded in death by her husband Jerome in 1978, four brothers and five sisters. The funeral services will be at 4 PM today, Thursday, at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna, with the Rev. Paul Paider officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross cemetery. Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral Home, 400 W. Wis. Ave. Kaukauna, after 2:30 PM on Thursday until the cortege leaves for the church. A memorial fund has been established in her name.

    Funeral Rites Wednesday for J. O. Heindel
    November 19, 1978
    Funeral services for Jerome O. Heindel, 61, formerly of 614 Kaukauna Street, Kaukauna, will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church with the Rev. John Bergstadt officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
    Mr. Heindel, an employee of Thilmany Pulp and Paper Company for more than 40 years died unexpectedly Sunday evening at McAllister, Texas. His present residence was Route 1, Pembine, Wis.
    He was born April 15, 1917 in Appleton and served with the United States Army during World War II. He had worked at Thilmany for over 40 years until his retirement in July, 1977. He was a member of the Thilmany Quarter Century Club.
    Survivors include his wife, Agnes Ebben Heindel; three daughters, Mrs. Dannie (Nancy) Angell of Kaukauna; Mrs. Joseph (Shirley) De Brue of Appleton, and Mrs. Wayne (Judy) Hartjes of Kaukauna; one son, Jerrold Heindel of Houston, Texas; a brother, Joe of Little Chute; a sister, Mrs. Cletus (Carol) Helf of Little Chute; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert.
    Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral Home after 9 p.m. today (Tuesday). There will be a prayer service at 9:15 p.m.

    Jerome O. Heindel
    Mc Allen, Texas

    Formerly of 614 Kaukauna St., Kaukauna and Rt. 1 Pembine, age 61, died Sunday in Mc Allen, Texas. He was born April 15, 1917 in Appleton. He worked for Thilmony Paper Company for over 40 years until his retirement in 1977. He was a member of the Thilmany Quarter Century Club and the Catholic Order of Foresters. Mr. Heindel was an army veteran of World War II.

    Survivors include his wife, Agnes Ebben Heindel; three daughters; Mrs. Dannie [Nancy] Angell, Kaukauna; Mrs. Joseph [Shirley] DeBrue, Appleton; and Mrs. Wayne [Judy] Hartjes, Kaukauna; a son, Jerrold Heindel, Houston, Texas; a brother, Joe Heindel, Little Chute; a sister, Mrs. Cleutus [Carol] Heif, Little Chute; and eight grandchildren.

    He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert.

    The complete funeral will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church, with the Rev. John Bergstadt officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral Home after 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday after 8 a.m. until the time of service. There will be a prayer service at 9:15 Tuesday evening.
  • Graduation: He graduated from Kaukauna High School in 1936.
