    Van De Loo, Edward P. Edward P. Van De Loo, 443 Van De Loo Street, Hollandtown, age 101, died peacefully Monday, October 10, 2005, at home surrounded by his family. Ed was born March 13, 1904, to the late John and Anna (Haen) Van De Loo in Hollandtown. He married the former Margie Carney on June 18, 1929, and together they enjoyed 69 years of marriage until her death on December 11, 1998. Ed was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, worked on the Centennial Committee, was a Past Trustee and a Catholic Knight. He is survived by his nine children: Fr. Willard Van De Loo, De Pere; Anna Mae (Leonard) Pribek, Kewaunee; Dorothy (Connie) VanDeHey, Kaukauna; Delores Hofacker, Mackville; Jerry (Marlene) Van De Loo, Green Bay; Cliff (Jan) Van De Loo, Hollandtown; Betty (Dick) Eiting, Hollandtown; Dick (Kay) Van De Loo, Eau Claire; Pat (Ed) Marx, Appleton; 38 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren, two brothers: Henry Van De Loo, De Pere; Dr. Francis (Ceal) Van De Loo, De Pere; sister-in-law, Lillian Kortz, Freedom; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, John Hofacker, his great-granddaughter, Megan Rose Pribek, sisters and brothers: John (Ella and Caroline) Van De Loo, Jake (Edna) Van De Loo, Clara (Joe) Dietzen, Joe (Anna) Van De Loo, Sadie Van De Loo, Mary (John) Fox, Fr. Norbert Van De Loo. He was also preceded in death by his in-laws: Marie (Matt) Daul, Ceil (Albert) Huss, Leona (Edwin) Brochtrup, Bill (Lorraine) Carney and Herman Kortz. Ed’s mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. on Friday, October 14, 2005, at ST. FRANCIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, Hollandtown, with Fr. Willard Van De Loo officiating and Fr. Jack Mullarkey concelebrating. Friends will be received on THURSDAY at Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again at Church on Friday from 9 until the time of mass. The wake will conclude with a prayer service at 8 p.m. Thursday. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery following Ed’s mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for St. Francis Catholic Church, Hollandtown and/or hospice. The family wishes to thank the wonderful staff of ThedaCare At Home Hospice for the loving care they provided Ed during his final days.

    Kloehn, Lloyd S.
    Lloyd S. Kloehn, age 78, of Kaukauna, died on Thursday, January 22, 2009, at Appleton Medical Center following a short illness with his family at his side. Lloyd was born in Kaukauna on December 31, 1930. He was baptized at Holy Cross Church. Lloyd was a graduate of Kaukauna High School with the class of 1948. After high school, Lloyd proudly served his country with the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Beatty DD-756. After returning from service, he married Patricia A. Frank on June 23, 1956, at Holy Cross Church, and the couple celebrated 52 wonderful years of marriage this past year. Lloyd worked for many years as a Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service, retiring in 1990 as the Combined Locks Postmaster. Lloyd was well-known for his public service. He served as a Kaukauna Alderman, Village of Little Chute Trustee, Outagamie County Supervisor and Chairman of the Law Enforcement Committee, and served some time as a bailiff for the Outagamie County Courthouse.
    He was a lifetime member of Holy Cross Church, where he served as an usher, a member of American Legion Post 436 in Wrightstown. He was active in Little League Baseball and Boy Scouts of America.
    Lloyd enjoyed his wonderful family and spending time with his 15 grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling and meeting new people. His personality and humor captivated many. He loved spending time in the Northwoods "Up Nort" and was also an avid poker player.
    He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Pat; his children: Kurt (Tina) Kloehn, Little Chute; Kerri (Ken) Schmidt, Rhinelander; Kelly (Cary) Meyer, Appleton; Kris (Darrell) Neumann, Appleton; Kyle (Britt) Kloehn, Fitchburg; his grandchildren: Casey, Sadie, Taylor and Annie Kloehn; Adam, Jacob, Jordan and Nathan Schmidt; Lucas and Nicholas Meyer; Tera, Ethan and Kyle Neumann; Kaelen and Trevor Lloyd Kloehn. He is further survived by his siblings-in-law: Don (Carol) Frank, Lois (Dan) Schommer, Karl (Nancy) Frank, Tom Frank.
    He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose (nee Drace) Kloehn; brother, Carl Kloehn; sister-in-law, Arlette Kloehn; father-in-law, Melbourne "Boze" Frank; and mother-in-law, Dorothy Frank.
    Funeral services for Lloyd will be held on Monday, January 26, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Church (309 Desnoyer Street) with Msgr. Jim Vanden Hogen officiating. Friends will be received at the Fargo Funeral Home (400 West Wisconsin Avenue) on Sunday afternoon, January 25, from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. and again on Monday morning at church from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Kaukauna. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Lloyd's name.
    The family would like to thank the wonderful staffs of the I.C.U. at Appleton Medical Center and the Kaukauna Dialysis Center; and especially Dr. Greg Johnson, Dr. F. Graham, Dr. Thomas Lewandowski, Dr. Atif Qureshi, and Dr. David Koeper, for their medical care; as well as Rev. John Krueger, Fr. Marty Fox, Fr. Jack Mullarkey and Msgr. Jim Vanden Hogen for their spiritual care.

    She was born August 22, 1914, in Little Chute to Rella and Henry Jansen.
    Dorothy married Melbourne "Boze" Frank in 1933.
    Dorothy's house was always open to friends and family. She regularly
    made room for one more at the table. She cherished spending time with her
    children and their families. Dorothy was an excellent cook. She worked at what
    was known as the Bovin Restaurant and later at Kaukauna High School as a
    cook, until her retirement. She also enjoyed working in the kitchen at Holy
    Cross Parish for funerals. She-loved playing cards with her lady friends. Her
    contagious laugh was heard and appreciated by everyone. Dorothy was a
    member of Holy Cross Parish in Kaukauna She wasn't just great-grandma to
    her 25 great-grandchildren. She was fondly known as "Grandma Great"! All
    who had the privilege of knowing Dorothy will sadly miss her.
    Dorothy is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law: Pat and Lloyd
    Kloehn and Lois and Dan Schommer; three sons and two daughters-in-law:
    Donald and Carol Frank, Karl and Nancy Frank, and Tom Frank, all residing
    in Kaukauna; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Pat Jansen; step-sister,
    Rita Geurts; step-brother, Leighon .Pynenberg; and step-sister-in-Iaw, Blanche
    Pynenberg. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren: Clay and Kim Frank,
    Trevor Frank and special friend Carol Martin, Joel and Mika Frank, Kurt and
    Tina Kloehn, Kerri and Ken Schmidt, Kelly and Cary Meyer, Kris and Darrell
    Neumann, Kyle and Britt Kloehn, Tracy and Jeff Wydeven, Terri and Rick
    Kuchelmeister, Bill and Diane Schommer and Kara and Steve Ferris. She has
    25 great-grandchildren. -
    Preceding her in death were her husband, Melbourne, on September 29,
    1981; a brother, Harold Jansen; sister-in-law, Bernadette Jansen; step-mother,
    Mai~e Jansen; step-brothers: Gerald Pynenberg, Richard Pynenberg and his
    wife, Anne; step-sister-in~law, Lynda Pynenberg; and granddaughter, Rebecca
    Jo Schommer.
    A memorial is being established in her name.
    The family would like to thank Parkside Care Center for the kindness
    they showed Dorothy. They would also like to thank Dr. Paul Russo of the
    Kaukauna Clinic, .Heartland Home Health Care and Hospice Father James
    Lucas, who gave Dorothy the Last Rights and provided her family comfort.
